Zerene could feel herself visibly color as she seemed to be carried gingerly away. She had always been the type who was against bothering others or rather she was trained too. She tried to open her mouse to speak up, but found that she had no idea what to say. She knew perfectly well that struggling along with each step, using her lance as a part cane, would hardly be ideal. It didn't seem to bother the woman at all, but her wound was feeling much better.
"Thank you both," she managed to sputter out, still not finding enough to let her swallow. Her voice was returning stronger than before, but so were her memories. She wanted to become stronger, but wanting and actually accomplishing were two completely separate things. So all she could do was shut her mouth and hope they hurry over to a village to recover and supply. She was going to save Arman one way or another, even if it gets her killed.

The gold haired Fire Dragon walked along the path, adjusting the way she carried Zerene slightly. When the armored girl began to speak once more, Palenax briefly looked down before grinning slightly. "You're quite welcome. Now rest, we'll get to the village soon."
After speaking, Palenax continued to walk on to their destination. The road was clear from any bandits or slavers, thankfully. Not that it'd have been a problem for her of all people, but it was simply easier to not have to deal with the problem at all for the time being. The golden haired beauty was forced to move along at a relatively slow pace with the weight in her arms and the other that followed after her. Eventually though, the trio had made their way along the road and to the village that Zerene had recalled.
Palenax found her way to an inn, quickly reserving and paying for a room for the hurt girl. Following doing that, she went up to a room and deposited the formerly injured girl on the bed. For the time being, the Fire Dragon then decided to go get herself something to eat. The slavers were still an issue, but Zerene needed to rest first.

Kyle just nodded when Zerene thanked the two, even though it should be three, his dog was there as well. At that cue he started petting his dog's head, much to the joy of the dog whose tongue lolled out of it's fearsome maw. Well it was fearsome to most, but to him it was just the cute face of his dog. His dog that on it's hind legs easily reached over his shoulders, and looked more akin to a wolf. Yep, his beloved dog.
Once they got there and Zerene was being taken to a room, Kyle walked a around the small town for a bit until he found a place with tables outside, apparently a place to eat food, and sat down. After relaxing for a bit Kyle took out some of the dried assortments of meat and gave some to his dog, and began to tear into some strips himself, waiting for news of the others.
