Name:Osmond
Class:Pirate
Age:36
Born in:Jutes, in the Western Isles
Appearance:Osmond stands at 5 feet 20, just slightly above average. Though his thick boots and thicker armor help the man look older. His face is visibly scarred in several places, most notable a large gash across his face just under his eyes. His tanned, rough skin implies a lifetime of hard work.
His strong, muscular body is covered in thin leather for mobility, minus his upper chest where a few plate straps cover his vitals. He wears a bandana other fellow pirates may recognize as a son of the Western Isles. In battle, he uses two large axes, wielding them in unison to strike savagely at his enemy.
Personality:Osmond enjoys good food, drink, women and above all else, battle. Always picking fights and duels for the sheer enjoyment of besting others in armed combat. He pursues little more above constant fighting other than work to keep his belly full. However, when away from the sea he becomes fidgety and uneasy, much better at home near the coast or on a ship's deck. He has a deep, hidden fear of magic and those who wield it.
Story:Osmond was born to an Ilian merchant named Ivanna. How said merchant ended up on the pirate-infested western isles is anybody's guess. Osmond asked her many times about his father, he never got a real answer.
After his mother fell ill, Osmond started working in the ports of Jutes by loading and unloading cargo at a very young age. This evolved to life on a ship when his mother passed away.
His hard work and "nothing else to lose" attitude earned the interest of the captain, Judith the Siren. She made sure Osmond learned how to fight, for more reasons than simply defending the ship that was both their homes.
Whatever happened to the notorious pirate and Osmond is the stuff of rumors. Some say she retired after suffering a serious wound in battle, at Osmond's request. Some say she carried Osmond's child and looked for a more peaceful life. And some even say she was betrayed and killed by Osmond himself.
Whatever the case, Osmond now wanders the coastlines of Etruria, robbing from those he bests in contests of strength.
