Bellona was not happy with her assignment. She was supposed to see if the a group of bandits near a small town was preparing for an attack. Now, her unit leader could of sent an actual scout, but insisted on Bellona a going. "It build character!" He said. "But, I'm not a scout!" Bellona retorted. But he wouldn't budge, so Bellona marched towards the camp. "My armor Is too loud to do this..." She grumbled as she walked through the woods near the bandit camp.
Bellona wasn't surprised to see how large the bandit camp had grown. Bandits were like rat's, if you didn't deal with the problem soon, you'll have a large infestation on your hands. Luckily, there wasn't enough to to cause serious harm to the town. But, there was no way she could take them. Not by herself. Bellona's unit leader wanted her to kill some, or "exterminate" as he out it. She really didn't care, Bellona didn't like killing, but she didn't consider bandits to be people anymore. If you kill Innocent people just for money and loot, you're no longer a human.
Sitting in a bush, Bellona eyed the movements of the bandits. She counted about seven men and four women. They milled around, looking at loot, chatting, or checking weapons. Bellona thought it was strange that there was no one guarding anything, but she realized that the bandits seemed drunk. Possibly of stolen alcohol, it usually was. She was so focused on the camp, she wouldn't even notice someone come up behind her.

Gavriil was making his way through the woods. A few of his former children had gotten sick. They where not a part of his network, but they where still his kids. He did raise them till they where old enough to take care of themselves. Gavrill had made the journey from The Dragons Doorstep and visited the town to take a look at them. His time as a medic in the military had given him some skill as a doctor. Lucky for them it was nothing major. The fools had not been eating properly and picked up a minor bug. Gavriil had given them some herbal medicine and reprimanded them on there eating habits. He was on his way back home when he heard the rumor of bandits being in the woods. Gavriil was no fighter, but he was curious about them. It was very strange to see bandits in the Holy Lands. Most people where either part of the church or simply joined the military. The price for crime was high so any man or women who decided to pick up banditry must have been truly desperate.
Even though Gavriil did not swing a single blade or shoot a single arrow he was still a military man. He knew better than to simply ignore the bandits and try to make his way home. They probably had ambushes set up on the roads and as a result trying to ignore or avoid them would be the quickest way to getting killed by them. So rather than flee the fire Gavriil moved toward it. He was curious about there movements and motives. The old soldier was sure he could scout them out It was not his first time doing a scouting mission, thought it had been quite some time since he had done one. Still Gavriil revealed in the challenges of his old days.
Moving through the woods Gavriil kept a low profile. He watched every step and eyed every hill. Bandits where no where near as skilled as a military unit, but Gavriil knew that he was not as mobile as he use to be. Caution was the best way to avoid getting into any real danger. As Gavriil moved up on the bandit camp he was meet with a interesting sight. There hiding in the brush was a soldier. By the color of the armor he figured it was one of the guard or maybe a member of the inquisition.
Without saying a word Gavriil moved up behind the young women. He wanted to simply say hello and introduce himself, but he was sure she would scream. If he just stood there she would eventually turn around and probably end up screaming. Neither of the two where good options. So Gavriil decided to go with option three. Walking over to a nearby tree Gavriil began to knock onto it with his hand. The sound was loud enough for the maiden to hear, but low enough for the bandits not to detect. That way he could alert her to his presence and prevent her from just yelling out or stabbing him.

Ventus and his companion Aria were along a main road when they found another small town, similar to the one where Ventus and Aria met. They figured they could just take a break from traveling, eat some decent food, and simply relax.
"Ugh! My feet are just killing me. Ventus turned to look at his cleric companion, "You think your staff could work up a little magic?"
Aria chuckled, "The only magic you need is some food and a bed. Then you'll be fine and ready to go in no time." Ventus put his hands behind his head and continued to walk. He gave a slight grin at Aria's remark. They took a turn into the town's entrance and looked for a place to stop and rest.
"Come with me and you'll see a marvelous sight right in the woods nearby here!" A man happened to be calling out to people as they walked by. He wore somewhat dirty clothes and had a bushy beard of brown hair just like the hair on the top of his head. Surprisingly, he happened to wear glasses. He had a sleeveless coat that was made from fur of some animal. Also, there was a slightly visible dagger sheathed on his belt on the right side.
"Oh lets go see something marvelous Ventus! It would be a change from the boring road we see everyday," Aria pleaded. Ventus looked from her to the man and then back to her.
"Um ... doesn't he look a bit, I don't know, sketchy?" Ventus examined the man's appearance. He has nice calves surprisingly. I wish my calves were that defined." As Ventus daydreamed about calves for whatever reason, the man happened to come up to the duo and was explaining what was in the woods to Aria.
"There's a ... waterfall! Yeah a waterfall in the woods," the man told them after a few seconds to think.
"I think we should go! I want to see a waterfall! Besides, he doesn't seem like a bad guy. I mean he wears glasses for Elimine's sake. Only honest people wear glasses." Ventus just blinked at her statement. He finally gave in to her wish. She squealed with delight and together the duo followed the man into the woods...
---
Well it appeared that Ventus was right. The duo eventually found themselves in the woods with blindfolds over the eyes and gags in their mouthes. It sounded like they were taken to a camp of some sort. The last thing Ventus remembered was that Aria was looking out from a top a hill that showed the tops of the trees and that Ventus was jumped somehow. The pupil tried to move his hands, but they were tied to something. He felt around for a bit and eventually figured that Aria was tied right behind him and between them was like a stick or something. All Ventus could hear was men and women cheering and acting strange. Ugh, I told you Aria. We shouldn't have gone with that guy. Now I just hope they don't harm us and that someone comes and saves us...
