It is funny how life works. Orcleous had promised himself that he would never go out to sea again, and now he found himself on another pirate ship out in the ocean. It was strange how life always seemed to find a way to make you do what you said you would never do. Orcleous had lost something in the past and he was seeking it. However in order to find what he lost he needed to hunt down a man he could not get near without being placed in irons. To make a story short Orcleous needed to find a Eturian sea man and see if he had his sword. However that man was out at sea on a ship attempting to conquer the isles. Orcloeus, wanting his sword back, found the quickest way to reach that man. That route ended up with him on a pirate ship joining up with a gang seeking to sink a Eturian war vessel. Orcleous was slowly building himself up to be a pain for the nation of priest, but he could not help it. Fate seemed to keep the two at each others throat.
"Alright hopeful things will turn out better than the first", spoke Orcleous as he sat on the deck of a ship. The waves tossed and turned and at full speed the wooden vessel cut its way through the sea. For this mission Orcleous had abandoned his armor. It was useless to him here. If he fell into the sea it would drown him. Wearing it on the deck would slow him down and throw off his balance. The Hero was forced to go back to his mercenary days. Nothing but his crimson jacket and his black shirt. Xigshaw was strapped to his back and his silver sword on his waist.
"Hey Orcleous you forgot your shield", spoke a young redheaded maiden as she walked up to him. Xeldine, she had made herself his apprentice after he rescued her from her crashed carriage. Orcleous did not mind having her around, but sometimes she was a pain. "So tell me again why we are riding on this ship filled with smelly men and failure."
"Smelly", spoke one of the pirates as he sniffed himself. To him he smelled fine, but to the maiden sitting next to the Hero he smelled like the dung of a elephant mixed with a bag of onions.
"Yes smelly", she spoke as she held her nose and attempted to fan away the foul smelling air. A sour expression crossed the man's face and ill intent entered his eyes. Orcleous figured this would happen soon. Xeldine always had a mouth, but not the skill to back it up. Orcleous could not count how many times he has bailed her out of trouble since they came to this region.
"That is enough Xeldine", spoke Orcleous as he pulled the his sword and its case from its belt and slammed its end into the deck. It was not only a threat to the pirate looking with murderous eyes, but also sign for Xeldine to shut up. They where going to have enough problems without her running her mouth.
