This was certainly a scene. Compounded by the fact that while Nayru imposed threats born of affection upon the weary priest, his slightly glossed over tired gaze found square the sidekick extraordinaire, Amelia, still flopped over Nayru's shoulder like a fish while puffing out her cheeks in what he could only assume was an attempt to look intimidating. It was more ridiculous than anything. However, he appreciated the notion, and the effort on part from both girls. The blue haired priest looked at them with a sheepish expression before quietly chuckling and straightening up someone. The quiet rippling pops of his sore spine realigning sent a chill down his spine while he nodded in quiet understanding, and some semblance of agreement as well. Nayru had told him such before, and the words of both the scruffy haired Mercenary Don, and the crimson mage Elias seemed to slip back into his mind.
He couldn't exactly continue to heal others in the future if he was dead from exhaustion of healing, nor could he effectively shield and heal if he was so tired that he was unable to stand straight for more than a moment before feeling his legs threaten to buckle. A single pale hand combed through messy lapis strands of hair before Remus inclined his head in mock defeat before flashing a warm smile towards Nayru. This in turn also became directed at the two orphans who were upon, and behind Nayru like impressively short hired muscle flanking a mob boss.
"Ah..hehe...well...when you put it like that...how could I refuse? Ah. Alright. I will rest. No one seems to be in any more immediate danger, and what ever manner of monsters lurk are very likely disinclined to further harass this small community for a time at-lest...thanks to you and I. Chances are they saw the great burst of lightning and fled in terror or sheer desire to self preserve. Um. Thank you Nayru. For everything."
He had to incline his head once more as he gazed to her. Each time they parted, (all three of them) he never knew if he would see her again. He believed so, but with what a crazy and strange world Elibe was, he couldn't ever be sure. It was such a crazy world they lived in, so full of chance. He could never say what would happen or where destiny had foreseen to take him. He could simply hope it would lead them into one another again. Perhaps it was because of this uncertainty. This unknowing as to if they would meet once more or not, that he felt inclined to speak further.
"I know your strong Nayru. Stronger than I would've ever imagined. However, be safe, please? I'd hate for the kids, or myself, to lose someone that we value so much. Besides. You seem to fight as if your invincible. However as your doctor, I must insist you take it easy. Heh. Make sure you get rest as well."
