Ventus was returning from his adventure outside of Aurnion which was far from uneventful. The pupil had met a flamboyant magic user named Elias, who was far more wise than Ventus could imagine a man to be. However, Elias was not as interesting as the other acquaintance Ventus encountered. Elias and Ventus met the beautiful and mysteious Neamhain, a woman that had amazingly large black wings. She claimed herself to be a Taguel, some sort of shape shifting species. They shared information about each other and the cultures that each other embrace. This led to Ventus discovering that Vinland was divided among several Taguel tribes and that humans have already settled here somewhere on the island.
"Maybe I should go in search for these other human settlements. It would be interesting to see the contact between the Elibeans and them," Ventus spoke aloud as he continued to walk towards his small, temporary dwelling in Aurnion. The sun was beginning to set, but that didn't stop the activity of the settlement. People have continued to work on the fortifications of the walls and on creating more dwellings as people have been slowly migrating to Vinland from the homeland. Ventus was thinking to himself as he found himself almost crashing into a larger man carrying some lumber.
"Watch it kid!"The large man brushed Ventus aside and continued towards the west wall. Ventus tried to apologize, but the man didn't respond. The pupil turned back towards the direction of his dwelling and tried to stay more focused.
"I don't think I can be of much use here in Aurnion. I'm not big enough to work on any of the construction." Ventus wondered if he should just return to Elibe, but he then remembered how Neamhain told him how there are many inhabitants of this island, both human and taguel. "Meeting the other humans on this island would be interesting. Maybe I could meet some taguel from the other tribes that Neamhain mentioned. I may even see Neamhain again!" Ventus's last words were spoken a bit too loudly as a woman turned and gave him a strange stare. The pupil gave off a laugh of embarrassment and rubbed the back of his head. He said sorry before rushing to his dwelling, so he may rest and be prepared to set off for the unknown tomorrow.
