While absolutely inept at keeping track of his adventures, some divine oracle took pity on poor Jude's soul and kept mark of his grand adventures to date.
Shipwrecked
Jude crashes ashore on a beach after a failed attempt at sailing his own vessel, and meets someone who will change his future forever-- Jabal, or as Jude knows him, The Mountain. The two eventually journeyed into a fell dragon's lair to find its rotting carcass and a group of thieves who had come in search of a dragonstone. Though in the dark about what dragons even are, Jude was unwittingly exposed to the dragon tongue and the strength and resilience of the living dragon, Jabal. The two engaged in a fight, and with nothing in their hands to show for it, left empty handed. Jude wasn't sure what they had been looking for, only that they hadn't found it. He chose to follow Jabal on his journey in hope of finding his sister.
Tunnel Snakes
Moving through the city in an attempt to steal some petty jewels, Jude makes contact with a short, silver-haired maiden with whom he is quite taken, but also extremely annoyed. This woman, Mel, chased him across the city and helped him escape when his plan went wrong and he had to lay low to hide from the city guard. After Jabal had abandoned him at the time, he stuck with Mel to see what would happen. As chance had it, the two would end up sticking it out together for many, many months.
A Delicious and Devious Duo (Mel C Support)
Mel takes Jude to the ruined village of her parents, where he proceeds to mock her, and her parents, for not being of any use, and in this case, not even being present. The two talked a bit about their origins, and Jude made the mistake of bringing up the fact that Mel's parents were dead without knowing so. Broken in spirit for the first time in his life, the two left the village and camped out together, where Jude was forced to deal with his unpleasant emotions and growing feelings.
Out of the Woodwork
In an attempt to get himself away from Mel and all the negative things she had put in his life, Jude went back to what he did best-- thievery and piracy. While at the estate of nobility in an attempt to nab some quick cash, he had a run-in with the master assassin Ryuzaki, or Near, as he was introduced. The two fought briefly, and when Jude was put flat on his ass, the two escaped together, at which point Ryuzaki made Jude his protégé and began training him in the ways of stealth and combat.
Rumor on a Wind
Returning to Etruria finally reunited with the Mountain Man Jabal, the two began searching for the origins of the dragonstone that Jabal had been searching for for almost a year. Jude, finally back at his side, assumed they were looking for an expensive gem to sell, but had his suspicions, as the fact that he'd heard dragon tongue really began to weigh on him. The duo met some unfortunate people in the city, and quickly made their escape before tensions escalated, though it is likely that Jude is not wanted back in the city for general disturbances and almost starting a brawl in the street.
Getting Stronger (Ryuzaki C Support)
In their first of many following training sessions, Ryuzaki trained Jude on his form and fashion, acknowledging that the boy had combat potential, but that because it was unrefined, he would likely stand no chance in a real life-or-death fight. He taught Jude how to wield a sword in addition to a dagger, and taught him some proper combat form. In the midst of the fight, Jude suffered a blow from a dark magic sword, the effects of which are still relatively unknown to him besides the fact that the weapon struck him, and as he bled, he became incredibly sick and was out of commission for two days.
Starting Somewhere
Forcing himself to take a break from the only two people he ever spent any time around, Jude found himself asleep in an Etrurian library months after his first journey there with Jabal. He met a cute girl named Deanna, who quickly made herself out to be an annoyance. Jude spent some time talking with her about smithing, a trade he'd taken up as a kid with his mother, and he made connections with her master before departing. The two are unlikely to see each other again, but should they reunite, Jude had promised to go ore hunting with her.
Run or Fight
In an unsurprising turn of events, Jude and Mel were reunited in Lycia and quickly took to their old work. Without much time to exchange words, the two met a strange girl who ended up getting them in a bar fight. The two fought a bit, and when Jude was about to get serious, Mel advised that they leave before suffering real consequences. The woman they met, Clara, had been a former slave, and against his better judgement, Jude had saved her from her old captors even without a fight.
Bandits Are People Too
In a surprising turn of events, Jude and Mel found themselves captured by bandits and taken to a stronghold where they awaited certain death. They managed to escape, and while at first they thought they would be able to handle the bandits, they had to escape out a window almost at the cost of their lives, but certainly at the cost of Jude's nearly broken arm and Mel's nearly broken body. During this time, Jude also discovered an uncanny power to daunt others by sheer force of will, should the situation call for a fight.
Red Skies (Mel B Support)
Jude and Mel spent the night together for the first time, and Jude acted like an utter child. Slowing his recovery time considerably, he fought Mel's medical attention and refused to talk about or even acknowledge his growing feelings. Forced into a situation in which he was almost naked, he became totally unwilling to open up to her, and since this point, he was sheltered himself considerably and refuses to talk about his feelings like he had begun to when they first met. His intolerance and unwillingness to cooperate earned him another three weeks of long, hard recovery.
The Savage
Finally making their way out of the city after the long recovery, the two found themselves looking for food and shelter on the plains of Sacae. Without anything to their names except what was with them, Jude attempted to capture dinner and got himself in incredible amounts of danger. He was knocked out, and didn't come to for hours.
Uncanny Reunion (Continuation of The Savage)
Once he came to, Jude realized he'd been trapped by a member of some mysterious band of grave robbers seeking a dragonstone. Since Jude and Jabal had done battle with the same group a year prior, the group had spent a year trying to locate Jude. When the leader of the band found him, the two had a long discussion, during which time it was revealed to Jude that Jabal might be more than simply a large, mountainous figure. Having learned more about the dragonstone, Jude broke free and fought the man before escaping with Mel.
Repossession
After parting ways with Mel for the time, Jude decided to seek out the Mountain again to continue their quest to find Jabal's magic rock. After months of searching, the boy finally found him in Etruria talking to a mysterious blond woman who seemed to have lots of underground connections. Jude proceeded to attempt to fight Jabal, and got severely injured in the process.
