Fleur used her enhanced abilities to avoid the man with the broom. She tucked the child rabbit onto her back. The child was safely hidden away within the tufts of Fleur's long hair. She glared at the man. She would not transform and fight him. Fleur did not think him worth it. She had no reason to strike at the man. The child was safe.
"Only a true monster would strike a child." She spoke coldly.
"Accursed beast! Go on Git! Shoo!" He chided. Fleur could see the fear in his body language. Fleur was taller then him. She could rip him in two if need be. She glanced over at the other woman with her son. She was holding him close. They too were fearful.
"For Shame Human. You are the cursed one." She walked away from them and returned towards Aurora. Much to Fleur's horror, the other taguel was preparing a spell. This would bode ill. If the spell hit the humans it could be seen as an act of aggression. It would bring these humans to war with the taguel. Fleur closed her eyes and used her ears to guide her towards Aurora. When the burst of light faded she was in front of the young taguel. Her expression was not a happy one. She raised her hand and grabbed the space on her hood where Aurora's ears were. She pulled them and lured the fox away from the commotion.
"Idiot." She muttered. Once she successfully dragged the pink haired Taguel away.
"Do not do that again." She scolded. She scolded Aurora in a manner like an angry older sibling. Fleur learned a great deal from the snake taguel and their records. She learned that humans were crafty enough to build weapons that killed dragons. She had no doubt in her mind humans could build weapons that could kill taguel.
"Your actions towards the humans here reflect the actions of all Taguel." She glared.
"If you are aggressive towards them.. and they will be aggressive right back. They will assume all taguel are mindless beasts who wish to harm humans. And you know that to not be true. Remember this when you are in the village of humans." She turned her head to view the child who hung on her back.
"We are going home." She had a voice to her that seemed kind of threatening. The same voice a mother puts towards her child when they had done something bad. She then turned to Aurora.
"Thank you for your help."

The little rabbit was quite quick to take action and recover the child from the mean brutish humans. It was saddening to see men and women that were like them. When her burst of flashing light was released she felt pleased with herself. Not only did it actually work but she was able to give the rabbit some cover to escape. She would have boasted of her genius and greatness if not for having her cloak grabbed. "Guflah!" It was the only sound she could make as the cloth was pulled into her neck.
She was dragged away roughly, but also extremely quickly where she was scolded for her actions. The nerve of the rabbit! She just helped the mean rabbit retrieve her child and now she had the audacity to scold her!? "But I didn't even hurt anyone! I was giving you cover to get away!" Aurora had a pouting face again, she seemed to wear it a lot with the rabbit lately. "My actions are not that of all Taguel but me! I am not just another number!" She argued. There was pain in her words but misused for the moment.
Regardless of her sensitive feelings the rabbit had succeeded in her quest and was now done here. "You're welcome I guess!" Aurora was not ready for her new friend to go. "You tell me that they wish nothing but harm to us! But what about the child they played with? Would you tell me that was not real? Something pure!?" She shook her head vigorously. "I know relations are only just starting but do you truly think that fearing them and avoiding them will make things better? We have to mingle with them!"
No matter how true her words may have been there was still key elements Aurora seemed to be missing.

"The strangers will not see it that way." She glared. Then sighed. It was difficult to talk to Aurora. She seemed to have the same mentality of an older child. One whom we fully aware of her actions and responsibilities but still decides to act out. This sort of behavior wore on the rabbit. Fleur was the oldest child in her family. She was forced to grow up quick on order to protect her younger siblings from the harshness of the island. Too many things preyed upon the rabbits. Perhaps growing up a carnivore was different. She knew the Hawks had a different method of raising their brood. They had a chieftain and some sort of social hierarchy. The rabbits were groups of families whom worked together. They had a council if sorts in order to make large scale decisions for the tribe.
"You must think of your actions. If you simply move about this world purely on whim.. this world will kill you. These strangers do not know the island. They do not know the taguel. They do not know of our histories or out tribe or of the dangers the island presents." She spoke sternly.
"The adults are merely doing what is best for their children. Put it in their perspective.. a child goes out and then they find it playing with an unknown thing. A thing that isn't one of their own. They are afraid of the unknown as one should be." She turned and glanced back at the bunny on her back.
"I do not know how it was like for you Aurora but the unknown can be deadly. Take this into consideration when you travel. Mingle with caution." She looked back at the family of humans. They were scolding their child.
"I must leave you. I have to return the child back to her family."

They did not know this, they did not know that. Well, there were a ton of things Aurora did not know too. Why was the sky blue? Why were lands divided by oceans? That did not excuse her from not knowing better if a scholar asked her now did it? "You're only making excuses for them because you're scared of them aren't you?" Aurora was frustrated by the ignorance of the humans and the caution that all the taguel around her possessed. Maybe she was young and foolish. Maybe she did not know her place as she should and maybe she acted upon her whimsy thoughtlessly but she acted on her heart.
She would do whatever she thought was right in that moment. It was now time for Fleur to leave and return home. To the safety of what she knew. Back to where she could pretend the humans did not exist. Pretend they would not expand. Relations could only get worse like this. They needed to set ground rules with the humans or it would lead to not but violence. That's it! Aurora was struck with inspiration. She already wanted to go to the mainland and see it for her self but now she had a reason.
"I will go to the mainland. I will speak with the humans and ensure there is peace between our peoples." She said it with a determined nod. "I am Aurora of the Fennic tribe and you have born whiteness to my vow here today. So be it!"

Fleur mentally sighed. It seemed that the rabbit had inspired something within the young fox taguel. Some sort of delusion or dream. Fleur doubted that one taguel could truly sway the opinions of several hundred humans.
"I am not afraid. I am merely cautious of the unknown. I have seen many taguel die due to curiosity of the unknown. I am merely doing what I can to keep me and my kin safe. I choose not to engage in the antics of these foreign humans until I learn of their intentions. As for now.. I am merely responding to the actions laid before me." She responded. Fleur didn't even know why she choose to respond to Aurora's talk about fear. Fleur wasn't afraid.
"These humans crossed the ocean to come here. They have claimed a part of land that wasn't their's to begin with. They are cutting down the forest for the wood with no respect to those whom live there. They are catching native griffons of the island and turning them into servants. They are living, breeding, prospering, profiting.. with no care or regards to the island. I do not want to associate myself with these.. parasites of nature." She kept her expression neutral as she spoke. It was almost eerie. However the fox did not seem to heed her words of caution. Instead she seemed to be inspired. Aurora seemed determined to try and make peace with the humans of the other land.
"Good luck." Fleur muttered coldly. She did not need to be here. Aurora was free to do whatever she wanted. If the humans were cruel to her then so be it. Fleur did not care. She had done her job. She adjusted her grip on the frightened child on her back and walked away. The rabbit returned to the gate and crossed it. She returned to the forest and back to her pack. Soon, they would return to her family warren and return the child.
