The sun had shone brightly on Thria today as Shil sat in one of the town's alleys. It was as hot and dry as could be with people of all types walking through the streets, trying not to suffer a heat stroke. Though there were a certain kind of people Shil had his eyes on today. He scanned the streets of the town looking for a good purse to pinch some gold out of so he could at least get himself a drink. Not to mention a little bit of spending money.
Pick-pocketing wasn't much of a problem for him, he'd been doing this kind of thing for most of his life, and he'd always managed a good find on an equally good day. Sadly it looked like most of the ritzy people in town had the sense to stay indoors today. He hoped he'd find a few people worthy of his time though. However, instead of simply waiting for a good mark to come his way, he decided to go out and look one for himself. He thought that there must be someone in the market looking to buy something today.
After making his way down to the bustling market where the buildings were tall, and the people were loud, Shil went to work. Here and there he pinched a few pieces of currency from every rich looking purse in the market he could find and get away with. Things were going pretty well for him so far, and he decided to take a short rest to pocket his hard earned gold. Of course after a few minutes of rest, Shil found something that was just too good to pass up. A lovely necklace covered in gems that some dull witted noblewoman was wearing around her neck.
He slowly followed her, making sure not to rouse suspicion of the local guard. Or even her own guards for that matter. The two lumbering guys shouldn't pose much of a problem in the chase, but if they caught him at the wrong time it was all gonna be over.
