Argus had been away from home for far too long it seemed. He even shivered at the cold! Either way Argus was happy. He was home again, coin purse a bit heavier from the occasional jobs he did on the road. He was stilln the road leading back to his hometown of Carrhae. Now, he had been hearing rumors of Etrurian aggression recently, even seeing the aftermath in some parts of Sacae he passed through. But that didn't bother him much, he knew Ilia wouldn't be the easiest place to invade, it was mountainous after all. So he let his mind wander off for a while, his feet taking control down the streets he had walked oh so long ago, before he went to train under his father's best friend, whom had recently been named Argus's godfather. Argus smiled at the good memories the training academy held.
Now, around an hour later he noticed something he had sorely hoped not to see at all in Ilia. Etrurians, scouts by the look of it. One rode atop what looked to be a cheap steed easily gotten from any stable in the world for some light coin. In the hands of the one on the horse was an old looking iron spear, it looked worn, as though it was only by the wielder's sheer force of will (Or true belief) that his weapon would never break. A rather foolish assumption. The other two seemed remarkably similar to each other, probably twins, and each held a bow perfectly matching the other's. Their arrows were (as far as he could tell) iron tipped. He decided to go around and try to ambush the one on the steed. Cheap or not, a horse was FAR faster than he. And so he began to move around them, careful to stay out of earshot as he worked his way behind them. He was greatful for the fur his armor had on the inside and in the joints, for it made the sound at least a small bit softer. He began to get closer to them in order to attempt to kill the man's horse. After all, a dead horse can't carry a man too far can it? He thought smiling.

"Damn", spoke Orcloeus as he blew his breath into his hands. The white smoke indicated that everything around him was cold. Orcleous had been to Illia once or twice before, but never for long. The bitter cold soon reminded him why. Though to be honest it was not that much different from the mountains of Bern. To bad that Orcleous avoided the Bern mountains so he was not acclimated to the climate as well as he could have been. Still the dark skin champion had business in the region that needed to be taken care of. There was a legend, who he had meet in the past, who was said to live in this country. Orcleous wanted to meet the man once more and have a conversation with him. The Winter Lion, he was a legend even among the youth of Bern. Orcleous had a few words he wanted to speak to the man and as a result he came to Ilia to hunt him down. Though that was not a wise decision.
"Good thing I ditched that full plate", spoke Orcleous to himself as he walked thought the snow covered in more winter prepared armor. The full plate armor he was trying out down south was now gone. He had to abandon it to continue on his journey. The metal would only get cold and sap out the heat from his body. The metal itself was shaped to fit him perfectly as a result he could no simply line it with fur and move on. Instead Orcleous was forced to wear more adaptive armor. He wore a thick leather jacket, that had chainmail on the inside and small plates placed around it. His pants were your standard slacks, and his boots your normal hiking boots. The sole however was twice as thick as a normal pair. It was just some added protection against the cold. His hands were covered with black leather gloves and his straps were placed on the outside of his armor. Hanging from his back was none of than his mighty war club Xigshaw.
"Humm", spoke Orcleous aloud as he looked up and saw two people sitting on horse back. Normally he would simply walk away, this was none of his business after all, but these two seemed to bother him a bit. To be more honest it was there symbol that bother him. He had seen it before and he had robbed it before. His magical super club that he carried around was the result of him meddling in there affairs. He was not sure if these two mooks would notice him and his magical hammer.
"Dead man tells no tales", spoke Orcleous to himself as he pulled his weapon off his back. His eyes focused on the two men in the distance.

The men had been looking for military targets for the main force to attack, but so far had only seen merchants and whatnot. Of course the merchants had to hand over any weapons they were carrying as well as a... 'Toll Fee' to pass through. So they were looking for someone like Orcleous. They hadn't recognized him... Yet. But saw he had weapons and so began to walk forth to try and force him to hand over everything he had, one staying farther back, ready to fire upon him if he did not comply to their demands. Thinking that he wouldn't fight back, not when they had him 3 to 1 after all.
Meanwhile however Argus had been attempting to sneak up on the cavalier and, due to the man's sudden appearance, the cavalier had been distracted enough for Argus to attempt to run the horse through with his Lance. Hitting it in the hind leg, wounding and slowing it down, but unable to kill it. This caused the archer that had stayed back to notice and prepare to fire an arrow at Argus, as well as making the cavalier try to slice at him with his sword. He was able to dodge the arrow, but the sword slice went into one of the joints in his armor. Which were rather large so as to allow him to move faster and easier. The archer closest to Orcleous to begin to back away from him, still within axe striking range however.

As Orcleous walked forward the Etrurian dogs began to move forward to greet him. It was clear to him that there were up to no good, but then again so was Orcleous. The Champion was prepared to send the two of them to there graves the moment they got close. However as they arrived Orcleous took notice of a third of there number. How in the world did I miss him, thought the Champion to himself. He then began to wonder if he had missed any more soldiers. His worries however came to a quick end as suddenly a man attacked the guard that he missed. The man stabbed a horse and caused a commotion. That commotion turned the soldiers attention toward him, and drew them off Orcleous. One of them began to attack and the other, specifically the archer, joined in to try to take down the man.
Why is one man trying to take down thee soldiers, thought Orcleous to himself. The Champion would have thought the man was crazy, but he was about to try to do the same thing. Orcleous was confident in his strength and he was sure this man was in his. However from what Orcleous could tell this was not going to end well. The man's armor had to large of gaps in it. Clearly whoever designed it did not understand why gaps were kept tight. They needed to be taught a lesson by a Bern blacksmith, that was one thing Orcleous was sure. Still the man wore the armor. Maybe it was done that way on purpose. Maybe flexibility or moblity enhancement. Maybe, but all that did not matter at the moment. What matted was the guy was about to die.
"Hartmut must protect fools", spoke Orcleous as his mind flashed back to the time he wondered into a flaming village. How stupid of a idea that was. It was a good thing the Winter Lion was around to pull him out the fire, both literally and metaphorically. Orcleous suddenly closed his eyes and began to draw upon the natural energy that flowed though his body. Calling upon that power Orcleous began to use a skill. "Daunt", spoke Orcleous as a sudden pressure wave erupted from his body. The wave slammed into the three soldiers sending a wave of dizziness over them. The swordsmen lost his balance, the archer could not aim, and the other guy simply felt like crap. The advantage the other man had gained over the attacking knight was gone in a flash. The wave of dizzying energy however did not seem to pass. Wave after wave began to radiate from Orcleous body. In a desperate defense the archer turned his bow toward Orcleous and let loss a shot.
"Pshaw, what was a arrow going to do against me", spoke Orcleous. His tone however soon changed as the arrow began to shine as bright as the sun and fly forward with a force greater than any projectile he had ever seen. Immediately Orcleous released his skill and moved to the side as quickly as possible. The arrow had missed, but once hit hit the ground not far from Orcloeus it exploded into divine light. The force of the magic burned into the side of Orcloeus face. The light burnned into his leather armor and Orcleous could feel the familiar tingling sensation of being hit by magic.
"What kind of bow was that", shouted Orcleous as he stared up at the man. The soldier who was closest to Orlcoeus had also been hit by some of the magic. Like Orcleous too he was still very much alive. The two were far enough from the strike to not take serious injury, but the magical energy still burned into there flesh. Not wanting to be hit by the second attack the soldier began to retreat back toward the other two. Orcleous however released the straps from his weapon and took hold of the mighty five sided rod that was Xigshaw. "This is going to be one wild fight", spoke Orcleous.

The soldiers saw Xigshaw and realized just who they were dealing with, smiling at seeing him, it seemed that they would be rewarded if they killed him. And so the two Archers began to fire exclusively upon him. Hoping to kill him quickly, using all of their spirit's magic on this one volley. The holy shot went forward with great speed, whilst the other was crackling with lightning and went slowly, but when it hit something it would explode with electricity, causing great damage. But these attacks would drain. Their weapons' spirit's completely.
Meanwhile, Argus and the cavalier were busy fighting. Argus was eventually able to kill the horse, but only after a few tries, meanwhile the man had been able to get some hits in, but they mostly hit his armor causing little damage overall. Now Argus was trying to grab the man for a fatal headbutt (By now one of Argus's favorite techniques) in order to kill him quickly. He was wearing a helmet after all, so he could cave in the man's skull. The man was able to make Argus stumble, but when he was going down he grabbed onto the man and regained his footing, holding the man's arms to his side and rearing back his head to kill the man. At least, he hoped it would. The cavalier was actually a new recruit and was barely trained correctly, and was probably pretty scared. In fact if you paid attention, you might have smelled a certain smell in the air.

"That was a mistake", spoke Orlcoeus to himself as he began his charge. The soldiers had turned there attention onto him the moment he drew out his weapon. He should have kept it hidden, but Orcleous currently had no other weapon. He had no choice but to draw it, but its very presence caused him to be the center of attention. The archer with the magic bow gave off such a evil smile that Orcleous thought it might have been a skill. Still the other man, the one who had fled had turned around and drawn his bow as well. From what Orcleous could tell by looking at it, it to was a magical weapon.
Two magical weapons, thought Orcleous to himself. He had only fought two magical weapons in his life so far. The first one, which use to be his, the Fury Dragon Blade, had whipped out his entire unit. Now he was going to have to face two of them at once. Both archers twirled there arrows in anticipation and pulled back on there bows. It was clear to Orcleous what they were planning. A critical attack, a full power blast, death itself in a single attack. They were going to murder him. There was no way Orcleous could take that kind of hit. He had barely faced magic when he was a whelp and now it was going to come back and hunt him. His resistance was far to low for him to take tow attacks.
"Die thief", shouted the archers in unison as they released there bolts of elemental and holy furry. The sky ripped apart as the two magical blast rushed toward Orcleous. The Champions mind rushed into a furry. A skill, that was the first ting that flashed into Orcloeus mind. Using a skill back to back would drain him, but. Well his current situation he had little choice. As the blast of magic flew forward Orcleous called upon his own magical weapon, Xigshaw. His abandoment of all weapons other than Xigshaw has pleased the mighty hexagon club. All glory belong to it and it held nothing back when Orcleous called upon its strength. At full power Orcleous could hit with the force of a dragon, or at least the legends go. Orcleous had once cracked the mass of a giant sail ship, but he was not sure if the legend lived up. He was about to find out now.
As the bolts grew closer Orcleous swung his gigantic hammer with all of his force.
"The fool is going to challenge our magic", shouted one of the archers as the earth erupted form Orcloeus blow. Sparks and light erupted from the area orcleous was standing and annihilated everything that was once there.
"He is dead", shouted the other archer. However his cries of victory were short lived. As the smoke and dust swirled around it was clear that there was nothing there but Xigsahw smashed into the ground.
"What", spoke the man in confusion. He was sure there would at least be a body left over.
"ITS CLOBBERING TIME", shouted a voice from above. Both archers looked up to see Orcleous coming down from the sky with a vicious grin on his face. The Champion had used Xigshaws strength to not challenge the magic, but instead to trow his body into the air dodging the attacks. With the fury of a god and the grin of a wolf Orcleous came down form the sky and slammed into the first archer. The force of there bodies colliding together knocked the man to the ground.
"Damn it", shouted the second archer as he pulled back on his bow. He expected to feel the surge of magical power, but instead he got nothing but smoke. "Crap, I used up all the magic", he shouted.
As the archer discovered the flaw in his plan Orcloeus and the other archer began to do battle. Quicly the man rolled over and got back onto his feet, but Orcleous was up just as well. Unlike the other man Orcleous has had a long history with acrobatics. Throwing himself into the air has been part of his fighting style since he was a novice. With a quick roll Orlcoeus was also back onto his feat. The Archer attempted to draw his side arm, a short sword, but Orcleous was not going to have it. He rushed forward and began to call upon the natural energy in his body for a second time.
"Smite", he shouted with full furry as he threw his fist into his opponent jaw. The blow hit the man with enough force to not only shatter his jaw like glass, but to send his body flying thought the air like a rag doll. A small bit of steam began to flow off Orcleous fist as he took pleasure in the demise of his first opponent. A wave of exhaustion fell over him, but the champion could still stand. He could not go down without taking down his last opponent. With noting but furry to guide him Orcleous turned his attention on the other magical archer. His eyes burned like the beastly Orc form legends he was named after.

The archer he hit went flying. At least, his head did. The rest of him went back a bit as well. But the head soared in a proud arc over the other archer. Landing near the cavalier and knight whom were fighting. The now dismounted cavalier looked at the head as it soared past, and Argus took the opportunity to hit the man upside the head with the back of his spear to knock him unconscious. After all, he could have information they could use, or they could convince him to join their cause.
The one other archer stared at the corpse of his friend as it fell to the ground. He stared in shock at his friend of around 22 years. He had never thought it would end like this. He had always wanted to retire back home and have families! He wanted to be able to die of old age with his friend and family! Not like this! He didn't want to die! So he decided to run away and desert the army. So he started running away as fast as he could. Hoping to escape as fast as he could from the men! He didn't want to die! He didn't want to die! He screamed in terror.
Argus decided to let the man go and began walking towards the other man, raising his hands in the air as he approached, hoping to convince the man to help him stop the Etrurians, the man seemed capable at least. And the weapon he had was intimidating.

That was unexpected, thought Orcleous as the man began to flee. He was sure the archer would have wanted to fight to the bitter end. The soldiers he meet before would surely have. Luck was on the Champions side, for all his bluster and bravado he was actually in pretty bad shape. The magic had done some damage to him, but what was really important was the damage dealt to his stamina. Orcleous was exhusted, thought he tried to not let his enemy see that. The use of the first kill was fine, but the use of the second skill, that was overboard. Using his natural energy like that drained him. Orcleous could still move, but he sure was not putting up a good fight. If that arhcer had stayed and fought he could have probably taken down Orcleous, or gotten close to it. Thus gave the reason why Orcleous did not give chase. Under normal circumstances Orcleous would have chased the man down and split his skull open with his club, but at the moment Orcleous simply wanted to take a nap.
Walking away from the corspe of the other man Orcleous made his way toward his mighty weapon. Xigshaw still stood tall and proud inside of the dirt and snow. Its five sided head had penetrated deep into the ground. It was a good jumping pole. If it had not been for Xigshaw's enhance strength Orcleous would have never been able to leap those twin bolts. If they had scored a direct hit, Orlcoeus tried not to think about it. Grabbing hold of the weapons hilt Orcleous felt Xigshaws power again. The magical rod was holding back some of his power however. The weapon was a bit jealous that Orcloeus fist had claimed the glory instead of its mighty surface, but the Champion paid his weapon no mind. The inner spirit of his weapon was far to hungry for glory.
With a single arm and one good pull Orcleous removed Xigshaw from the earth. With one swing Orcleous removed the dirt from its surface. He would have placed the mighty weapon away on his back, but the Champion was enjoying its magical enhancement. The strength boots aided in fighting off the fatigue. As orcleous looked up he saw a knight approaching him. It was clearly the man from before, but for some strange reason he had his hands up into the air. "Who are you surrendering to", spoke Orlcoeus to himself. It was then that he finally understood the man's motives."
"Be at peace friend", shouted Orcloeus as he threw his weapon over his shoulder and made his way over to the man. His eyes fixated on the man's armor and brought back up the mental question he had asked himself before. "I have no qproblems with you", spoke Orcleous as he stopped right in front of the man. The Champion began to wonder what exactly did the man want. The Eturians were dead and Orcleous was on his way. What more could he wish to know or want?

Argus lowered his arm, relieved. He looked at the man, then looking to see if anyone is nearby. Seeing no one, he walks closer to the man before speaking. "Hello. Um... Well... I saw that you were good at taking out those archers. And well, the Etrurians have been invading all over! Ilia included! That's why I would like you to help me in stopping them from taking over!" He said, before looking towards Carrhae. "My parents are stationed in Bern at the moment, so we should be able to use their house to operate out of. If you're up for this that is. Mr.... what's your name? Anyway my name's Argus. Mighty fine to meet you!" He said, extending his hand to the man. Hoping he would help him in this endeavour to stop the Etrurians from taking over Elibe, starting with Ilia! He thought of how his mentor would feel if he found out... Some type of pride he assumed. "Anyway... If you're up for it, I could REALLY use your help! Also, they seemed to fear you. And that could be good to have. If you want to help. I can probably pay you too if you need. Hopefully not though. And even if it's probably only be afterwards. So! What do you say?" Argus asked, REALLY hoping the man would help. If Argus had to he would try alone but... That probably wouldn't end well. Most likely with a brutal death, not exactly something Argus wanted to experience any time soon... Or ever in fact.

Is he crazy or just stupid, thought Orcleous as he looked at the man. Clearly Eturia was making moves in Ilia, but Orcleous had no idea they were doing a full invasion. He simply wanted to hunt down the red guy he meet when he first started swinging a sword not get involve in some political bull crap. Now here this guy is, some special snow flake no doubt, trying to recruit him into joining... something. It was clear this guy had plans, or at least passion. Orcleous had seen that. However he was trying to figure out why this guy was asking him to join up with him. Orcleous barely knew the guy, and barely was the correct word. He was walking and the Eturians walked up to him. This guy attacked somebody and Orcleous stepped in to give aid. Now he was trying to recruit him to join his suicide squad.
"Yeah I am going to have to go with...", before Orcleous could say no a thought occurred into his head. He was looking for Richter. At first he thought the guy was just a man. However while traveling the land he figured out that this Richter guy was quite the big deal. Considering that and the fact that Eturia is invading his home country it was clear that finding him was going to be as hard as finding a white piece of cloth in the mountains. Pretty much it would be nearly impossible. However if Orcleous got him name out there and gained some good points with the locals he could probably find the Winter Lion. It was a better plan than simply walking around and looking. Still Orcleous had no idea what this guy was all about. Not to mention he looked green and he fought green. Orcleous was now sure that the man was going to die, if he left him.
"Alright I will help you out", spoke orcleous as he took a good look at the man. A knight, just like Aiden. He remembered the rebellion in Bern and how they had won back there land. Funny now that a Bernanite was helping a Illian defend his homeland. Maybe this was fates cruel way of messing with them. "The name is Orcleous. Orc leous, just remember the horrible monsters from kids stories and add a proper sounding leous to it. As a side note the Eturinas don't actually fear me. They fear my weapon", spoke Orcleous as he pulled Xigshaw off his back. "This is Xigshaw, a magical rod thingy. I kind of stole it from Eturia a while back. So to put it nicely they kind of want me dead and my weapon back. As a result me and the holy land are enemies. Also as another note, don't just randomly pick people up", spoke Orcleous as he threw his weapon over his shoulder. "If you follow that path your going to end up pulling spies into your organization."
Without another word Orcleous began to walk toward the place the man was looking at. "I hope you have some coco inside of that place. It is cold as the inside of a ice burg out here", spoke the Champion. As Orcleous walked he began to think on his decision. It was a dumb one, he knew. However there was no better time to make a dumb decision. Orcleous had always meant to leave a mark on this world. As of right now however he was simply known as the Faint of Heart. It was a title that burned a hole in his pride and placed a fire in his belly. This man's little resistance could give him a opportunity to change his fortunes around. At the same time however it could also get him killed, but that was every mercenary job he had ever taken. The only thing that nagged at the back of his head was the idea that Xeldine could show up, since she was following his trail, and the notion that he would be missing from the front lines of monster slaying. "I hope somebody fills that hole", spoke the Champion as he began to push his way thought the snow.

Argus smiled and moved ahead of the man, still talking to him. "Well... You can't really have spies when your group is two people!" He said, listening to Orcleous. "And I can make some. You must be from some place warmer. Anyway, we can talk more inside. It's far warmer." He said, heading to the house, it was decently sized, and seemed to have a fire going. There was the smell of roasting meat once Argus opened the door, waiting for the man to get up there whilst listening to him speak. "Huh. That makes sense... I guess." He said, kinda confused but mostly willing to take the story. He did just help Argus out, so it should be fine. At least... He hoped so. Either way, the door was open, and the man could enter the home. Inside were a few old swords, some books, and a fireplace with kettle. A rug was between the fireplace and the beds nearby. There were two, one larger than the other. But both seemed rather comfortable, with blankets on each. Argus got to work preparing something warm for the man to drink once he got in. There were a few cabinets off to one side, as well as some cupboards and counters. There was a table with a bench on either side in the center of the 'living room', as well as a closed door leading into another room in the house. It was made of solid wood, and had nothing too ornate about it.

Orcleous took the moment to have a seat and clear his head. What had he gotten himself into. It was a decision on the fly and from the looks of things it could possibly be his last. A nation was not something you took on lightly and the holy land of all things only made it worse. Still Orcleous had made his choice. He was going to fight. He would fight to find the Winter Lion. He would fight to defend himself, and he would fight to save his name. He had a reason and thus he had resolve. He was not so sure about this Argus guy thought. The man wanted to resist Eturia, but Orcleous wondered if he had the capability. Looking at him it was clear that he had the passion. His attack from earlier showed that. The problem Orcleous had was wondering if he had the skill to back it up and the mind to make it work. He had attacked that patrol with no plan at all. Those magic archers would have ripped him to pieces and his fight with the other man was not going well before Orcleous joined in. Things could get bad really easy if he approached every situation like that. Still the man had passion, and that would be enough to recruit others. However now Orcloeus needed to find a way to forge that passion into something useful, unless he find himself in a early grave next to the man.
"So", spoke the Champion as he took a gulp of his warm drink. "Have you ever fought in a actual battle. I am not talking about small band to band fighting like ten on ten or twenty on twenty. I am talking about large engagements with over a hundred warriors on each side. Have you ever lead a group of men? Have you ever been involved in logistics? What you are trying to do requires a lot of skill and a lot knowledge. To build up a actual resistance we are going to need the help of multiple people and multiple skills. So if we are going to do this we are going to need to set up two things off the back. The first is a organization structure, and the second goals. So my friend, do you have any idea what our first goal is going to be? You are, the leader in all of this after all."

Argus looked at the man, and thought of what to say, and decided to tell him the truth. Argus SAT across from the man, sipping his own drink as the sun started to set outside. The fireplace cast the room in an orange-goldnes light. "Lead? Never. Fought in hundreds of men? Also never. And didn't plan on it. Etruria's got an actual army. There's only two of us, and thousands of them. And as for logistics? I can do math. That's about the best you can hope for for someone of my family's standing in the world. And I know it'll take multiple people with multiple skills. I GREW UP IN CARRHAE. I THINK I can convince some old friends to help us out.'" He said, a bit defensively. He hadn't really been involved in anything the man had mentioned, his mentor HAD thought him the basics of supply lines and math and morale and whatnot. But he had no practical experience. "And as for the organization... As you could possibly tell... I tend to get... Carried away during battles. I was hoping you could take command during times such as that. You do seem like a qualified individual for such a task." He looked outside, and noticed how it was getting dark. "Oh my! You must be quite hungry! Would you allow me to make some supper for us?" Argus asked, he was planning on making some stew. Delicious... Delicious stew...Always so tasty... Argus thought as he started staring into space.

So he was green, thought Orcloeus to himself. the young man could fight, Orcleous could see that. However he lacked the fine points of stratagem they would need to fight. That was not so bad actually. If the two of them were going to do this then they would need to be able to think out the box. No resistance has ever won by using the same stratagem twice. The enemy always learned and studied history. Argus had courage and conviction. He showed both of those in the fight today. He could do it. He could lead a group. Orcleous on the other hand was sure that he could not be the leader. He was not even from Illia and to make it worse his reputation was not shinning. Not only that he was to easily noticed. The moment he entered into a town a red flag would be waved. Only Argus could lead, that was orcleous personal decision. Now he had to simply teach what he could and let the man come into his position. In the back of his mind Orcleous wondered if Aiden was like this. If he had been just like Argus till he took up the flag of rebellion in Bern.
Orcleous let out a long sigh. "Oh well, everything will work out in the end, or we die", he spoke with a chipper tone. As a mercenary Orcleous had already come to terms with the idea of dying in some ditch on the side of the road. Joining up with a rebellion would be no different. "Well Argus despite your lack of expertise I think you can do the job. No rebel leader I know of had experience running a rebellion before they ran one. Lets just prey that we lean quicker than our enemies can locate us."
"Food, sure thing", spoke Orcleous as he pulled his bag over. He pulled out a few strips of dried jerky and handed it to the knight. "You can chew on this till the food is done", spoke Orcleous as he pulled another set out of his bag. As the knight moved to do his thing Orcleous decided that it would be best to give him a bit on his background. "Well I am pretty sure I said this, but I am going to go over it again. Bare with me till the new stuff starts to flow out. The name is Orcleous and I am from Bern. I am eighteen years old. I know I look older than I actually am. That is due to long hours on the road and relentless fighting. I grew up on a pig farm and did not learn to fight till I was sixteen. So to be honest your training might be a bit more extensive when it comes to nobles and some tactics. What I do have however is two years of battle experience.I know it does not sound like much, but there is a lot in that two years. I have fought against every type of monster that has been sited coming out of Lycia. I have fought in the battle for the city of heroes. I have fought in the desert, the snow, and in the mountains. I have taken on a guild of assassins and has even run into a dragon of all things. So I can say without a doubt that i know my way around the battlefield. However I have never served in a rebellion so this will be something new for me."

Argus took the jerky Orcleous offered him and placed it into his mouth and chewed, as he began to cook the stew, beef, carrots, other foods he bought in the city with some of his money. He chopped them up and put them into a pot, placing it over the fire whilst listening to Orcleous before speaking. "That is indeed true Orcleous. We either slow them down enough for the army to arrive... Or we die. Possibly extremely painfully so! And that's why we're near Carrhae. I grew up here, have lots of friends who'll probably help us. Weapons, armor repairs and whatnot. We'll still have to pay, bit probably at a steep discount for us." He said, thinking of what to say next. "And you've fought a dragon? Do tell me more pig farmer. And you would be correct. I trained under my godfather for years." He said to Orcleous as he checked the stew, and when it was done he bowled it and handed Orc a bowlfull and a spoon to use before eating his own slowly. It was DELICIOUS. At least to Argus. He loved stew. It was warm, filling, and a hot drink! All three things you need in a cold place! So of course he loved stew. And soup. He liked hot foods. But either way, Argus would keep his homeland safe, and he would make sure no one from home would die. No one he could save would be left behind. But the Etrurians? They were the aggressors here. Ohhh if he gets his hands on their commander he would rip the man limb from limb for threatening his people, his lands, his family. Bern he could understand, they were rebelling. That was fine, but assaulting his home in a holy war? That was COMPLETELY UNNACPTABLE!
