so he was close to his home town. That would explain the fire in the man's belly. they say wolves fight there most fearsome when they are near there din. The same could be said about this guy. Still the way he charged in head first like that. Orcleous had never seen a knight do that. Most of them sit back and take on challengers. this guy charges straight in. Orcleous had to wonder if that was his standard stratagem or if that was just the one he used today. He would need to talk about that later. If they were going to work together they would need to share there strengths and weaknesses.
"Ok first off, don't call me pig farmer. I know it is true, but it sounds a bit insulting. Other than that we are going to need to do some information gathering. We need to know what they are doing in the area and what they are planning. We need to figure out how many of them are in the area and what are the two nearest points of reinforcements." Orcleous then began to devour the stew with a ungodly speed. "After that we are going to need to pick a target", spoke the Champion with a mouth full of food. "Once we know where and win we will strike we will execute plan, but before that", spoke orcleous as he finished off his food. "We are going to need to recruit people. It should only be people who have along history in Ilia. Like people born in it. No one from Eturia and rarely from Bern. A spy is the quickest way for us to find ourselves in a forgotten grave. To be honest the main goal is to do damage, but not enough damage that the full might of there army comes down on us."

Argus nodded, cleaning his bowl. "I agree with you Orcleous. And I won't call you that again. But I say we wait to recruit until tomorrow. We'll head into the city to do that. I also need some more supplies and whatnot. Most of them don't even know that I'm home yet, so they should be excited to see me. And what about you? You ever been to Ilia before Orcleous?" He asked. He would need to know how people would react to him. He would also like a name for this resistance, bit that was neither here nor there. Either way, it was dark out, and Argus began to tire and yawn whilst waiting for Orcleous to finish eating his stew. Argus started to nod off on his seat. He tried his hardest to stay awake but he knew he would fall asleep soon and as such spoke to Orcleous. "I am sorry Orcleous, but I am tired, it is late, and I am full. I am going to get some sleep. I recommend you do the same. As soon as you're done, make sure to fuel the fire then get into the other bed." He said before walking over to the bed, flopping onto it, and promptly falling sound asleep. He would remain in this state until he was awoken by either noise, sunlight, cold, or Orcleous waking him personally. Argus had been trained to sleep in his armor as often as he could by his mentor. And as such he only took his armor off to clean it. Never for anything else, except bathing and certain other activities.

Of course not, thought orcleous. Why would he go out and recuuit people at night. That was asking to die in the cold or just come off as creepy. Still Orcleous kept that comment to himself. it seemed that the two of them were finally on the same page. Orcleous would have to leave most of the local work to Argus. He knew people and was far the better face. Still Argus asked about his reputation. Orcleous had come to Illia only a few times. the time that stood out the most was that time he participated in a raid. He kept that to himself also. No reason tor bring it up. He was forced into it during that time and Orcleous had no desire to simply raid people ever again.
"Well if you must know a few people in Illia call me the faint of heart. it is a nick name given to me because I retreated from a battle. it was against a horrid abomination, but people don't care. You retreated and thus your a coward. It has not stopped me from getting jobs thought. Once they seem me fight all the whispers about me go away. Still you should know just in case. That being said I wish you a good night", spoke the Champion. Orcleous moved to tend to the fire and the slumped against a sturdy wall. Taking xigshaw off his back Orcleous held the mighty rod like he would a sword. The point of the five sided rod was placed on the floor and its grip allowed to lean against the wall. Sitting under it like a tent was orcleous slump against the wall. When he was out Orcleous never allowed himself to sleep in a bed. He needed to be ready. He needed to be able to fight at a moments notice. If it ever returned.
The sun rose over the horizon bringing with it the new dawn. The light, in all of its brilliance, shined down upon the world dispelling the darkness and bringing the deeds of man into light. Orcleous had awoken first. Rather than awake Argus he tended to the fire and then went outside to practice. Held Xigshaw in his hand. It was far from a sword, but Orcleous could still use it closely enough. He knew how to fight with axes, but this long iron rod seemed more like a blunted greatsword than any axe. The only true difference was that it crushed bones instead of spiting them. Immediately orcleous began his morning training. He swung his weapon thousand times. Each strike he envisioned a enemy and with each one he adjusted to there movements. He was going to need every ounce of skill he had for this quest.
