It was quite unfortunate that the reasoning as to why Gael was currently headed to Bulgar wasn’t one with better circumstances. No, when your homeland was in the current situation that Sacae was in there was little time to be visiting any places for reasons other than to prepare for war. And that was what Gael was doing exactly. He had been sent with a few of his Greikah brethren to Bulgar in order to see if it was still possible to find any last minute supplies they may need for their upcoming journey. This was not the way he intended to visit Bulgar.
They would be staying for a bit longer than expected due to some troubling circumstances one of Gael’s siblings had to attend to. As for the rest of the group after they had procured what it was exactly they were looking for they only had to wait until the more important matters were dealt with. This gave them time to wander about and experience whatever Bulgar had to offer. Gael took this opportunity to truly take in the capital. There had been a great battle here, one that Gael would enjoy learning more about but that would have to be at some other time.
The tension while riding towards Bulgar was thick and getting away from the rest of the group was rather relieving and the time alone was welcomed greatly. It was good for him to get some time to himself to clear his head. Bulgar was a wonderful capital and Gael wondered what it looked like when it was busy and filled with people. It wasn’t abandoned but it certainly wasn’t as lively as Gael would have preferred. As of now he was simply wandering about and taking in the sites, lost in his thoughts.
