Sarah watched as the two were "arguing" with it each other and she didn't have time to wait on them to finish and got her things ready and look at both of them and said.
"Oh come on now, no need to fight over this, we all have our own way of doing things in life, even if they are careless or overcautious but such things is what makes everyone unique and but I'm in no place to say anything about this kind of stuff so let's just get going alright, I don't want to be out here any longer.
After Sarah said that she looked forward and started walking down the road and saw that Giles had looked over and them and started speaking about their time coming one day, to Sarah something like that didn't matter to her, she went out on this journey simply for the enjoyment and to see the world. Becoming famous wasn't that big on her mind at the moment as she had other things to think about at the moment but she began to speak about what Giles said to them.
"What's brought this up, are you worried about dying at some point or are you just worried about us right now, you don't have to worry about me, I've gotten this far in one piece but it's still nice that you're worried about us."
After the group had been walking for sometime they finally arrived to the city, with Sarah staring at the city, filled with joy at what she was going to find in the city Sarah quickly walked up to the city and said to the group.
"We finally made it everyone, let's have some fun while we're here for now alright?"
"Hey Old man, when we started this ting I promised to follow your orders and I have done that. However i did not promise to not to complain about them. It comes with the territory. You can't really expect me to just sit back and take everything like a good little soldier, because I am not. This ain't the army, nor is it a mercenary band. I have my own opinions, ideals, and gr evinces. For you taking down that one undead was a simple task of opening up the road. For me that was a chance to prove myself both to me and to others. You already had your time, let me have mine!" With that Sarah stepped in, however Wei had nothing left to say to the old rider.
The old man just did not understand. In his mind combat was simply the expression of all the training you have done before it. For Wei combat was the training. Wei was not a formally trained warrior. No one taught him how to fight. Every move, every step was self learned. He was a diamond in the rough and by missing out on even one fight he felt like he was missing a lesson to be learned. Of course he would not tell them that. They did not need to know how experience he truly was. All they needed to know was that Wei was eager for battle and he had gotten a bit upset about being ordered to pull back.
As the group made it to the city Sarah breathed a sigh of relief. Wei on the other hand had mix feelings. Sure they made it to where they were going, but he was not sure if he was any stronger than when they set off. Still that was a thought for another time. Right now it was party time.
"Alright, lets see if I can get something decent to eat for a change", chuckled Wei as he reference there poor camping skills. The young boy placed his hands behind his head and made his way toward the local tavern. Food, rooms, and then exploration. Wei had to see what this city had to offer.

"No, no. I will not be dying anytime soon my lady. I'm a little too skilled for that." Giles gave a smile to the cleric to show his confidence. "I simply want to get us to Pherae without injury. I was hoping my words we be reassuring enough to convince us that this trip was not one for glory. This is not a campaign." A certain redhaired menace must have thought otherwise. Wei was correct, he was not a soldier. That was clear. He was ambitious, seeking to prove himself against a solitary revenant. Giles never questioned his ability but the outburst was a little much for Giles to put up with. The final straw.
There was no amount of straw that could break Aurochs' back. Giles on the other hand had heard quite enough from the young fighter. He was brash, aggressive and disrespectful. All qualities that Giles did not have the desire to tolerate any longer. Sarah requested that the two not fight, so that was where the conversation ended. Giles had half a mind to turn back here and now, see if Wei could handle himself in a fight and keep Sarah safe. But Giles decided against it, he was a man of his word and He gave his word that he would see these to into Pherae safely.
Giles did just this. The group eventually made it to Pherae. The great knight paused after they entered the city. " I have seen you to Pherae safely. Having fulfilled my mission, I will now be taking my leave of your company. I will be residing at an inn for a short while, should you need my assistance again. Farewell." Giles watched his words to make sure he didn't let on too much. He turned away from the group and headed toward a nearby inn.
Sarah looked over at Giles and saw that he was walking away, having done his duty to get the group safety to Pherae Sarah simply watched him walk away and starting thinking about the small journey they all had together and she looked over at him and didn't say anything and then she looked over at Wei talking about getting some food and saw that he was already on his way with Sarah following, saying.
"Hey wait for me, I'm getting something to eat too."
Sarah went with Wei to get something to eat as well, she didn't enjoy the food they had eaten while on the road and she was hoping to get something better to eat here in the city. After walking for sometime Sarah looked over at Wei and started to talk to him.
"So what are you going to do now since we're now done, are you gonna travel the world as a mercenary or something like that? Also did the Great Knight get on your nerves sometime?"
While she was talking, she walked into the tavern and looked around and saw that it was your everyday tavern in your everyday city though Sarah didn't mind, as long she got something to eat right now. After looking for sometime she found a table that was in a pretty good spot and went over and sat down and waited for the waitress to arrive to her.
After sometime the waitress arrived and asked what Sarah wanted and she told her "just something with meat and some water and that will be all for me."
The waitress wrote down the order and walked off to get the food and the drinks.
Sweet, thought Wei as Sarah moved to catch up to him. This is exactly what he wanted since they started this journey. A day on the town with a beautiful girl. You really can't ask for anything better. The best part was that the old dude was no where in sight. Though now that Wei was thinking on him he did sound a bit weird when he walked off. On one end it sounded like he was going to get something to eat, but there was a strangeness in his tone and word choice. Wei had to wonder if there was something wrong with him. Well he could think about that later. What he needed to do right now was make a good impression.
"Done", murmured wei as confusion took over his face. The boy removed his hands from behind his head and looked at the maiden. "So that was it? I thought we were going to go on some grand adventure. I figured this would be one stop among many. You did say you wanted to see the world right? Well i want to get stronger. Traveling the world is a great way to test your muscles both physically and mentally."
"As for the old guy", groaned Wei as he looked to the side. "I don't know that guys problem is. He keeps acting like I am suppose to be this toy soldier that moves and bends as he commands. I agreed when this first started to follow his orders and I did that. However the old dude just wants me to worship the ground he walks on.I ain't up for that. If I have a problem with something I am going to let you know it. I ain't going to just sit there and let you walk all over me." Wei did not like talking about the old dude. He kind of ruined the mood for him. At one point he was stating to view this little eat out as a date, but once they start mentioning old grey beard it was starting to seem like a intervention.
"I will have the roast duck and a cut of grape juice", spoke Wei as he sat down at a table in the tavern. The waitress took down his order and walked off. Wei began to fiddle a bit into his pocket and pulled out the appropriate amount of gold coins. Setting them on the table Wei waited for the waitress to return.
"So, do you have a problem with the way i am acting", asked Wei. Since she brought the old dude up he could not get the thought out of his head. "Do you think I am a bit to brash? Maybe impulsive, how about green. Don't hold back the truth on my account I can take it", spoke Wei as he stared into the maiden's blue eyes. They were quite beautiful, thought he would never say that out loud. If he did his face would turn as read as his hair.
Sarah decided to answer the question of what's gonna happen now and Sarah decided that it was a good idea of what she would be planing to do next and began to speak.
"I didn't really plan on ending the journey just yet, I just got two major things done here so I can't think of anything else to do out here in Lycia but I'm fine with traveling all of Lycia if you still want to do that, and I'll stop bring up "him" for you alright, I can tell you don't like him, I have to agree that begin told what to do alot of the time can be annoying."
Sarah looked around the tavern just to see if anything is happen, which there was nothing worth mentioning about so Sarah looked back over and heard Wei asking her if the way he does things was ok with her and he wanted to hear the truth form her, as such Sarah gave him just that.
"In my honest words, everybody has flaws, you may be brash and charge head-first into a fight but that isn't a bad thing all the time, sometimes it can be the best course of action that someone can take. All in all I'm fine with the way you act, it's your own charm that every person has and I think it's nice, but anyway where is that food, I'm starving here."
After sometime the food that the both of them ordered had finally arrive and Sarah was happy that they were going to eat some real food for once and she started eating her food. After eating some of her food she asked Wei one question.
OCC: Sorry for the late reply, did not realize you had dropped one
After there conversation Wei was able to enjoy the meal. It was good to know that not everybody on the team hated him. Still Wei would need to watch his actions a bit. No reason to get Sarah mad at him. However Wei still needed a lot more combat experience. Shrugging from a fight was not going to make that happen. At the same time however looking for a fight would probably end up with him and the group dead in a unmarked grave. So he would have to keep it at a medium.
"Any ideas", murmured Wei as he tought on Sarah's question. "Have you ever been to Bern? I am not talking about the nation. Well it is in the nation, but I am not talking about the nation in itself. I am talking about the capital of Bern. I heard the capital of Bern is like one gigantic fortress. I heard that the entire city is just one gigantic castle. Like the entire city is surrounded by a gigantic wall, and that there are walls inside of the city. I heard that the buildings are designed so that the guards can move atop them and fire down into the streets and that there are wyvern riders flying over it all times of the day. Now that would be a place to visit. You know just to see if the stories are true. I also heard that the capital of Illia was a place to visit as well. However I was not suppose to be as fortified as Bern. However the snows and sights are suppose to be amazing. They also are suppose to have some kind of magic academy in the region. I would love to see that also."
Bern, a place that Sarah had only heard of but she had never been there before so heading to Bern would be a great idea for her, as she was looking to see the world and all that but then Wei also brought up Ilia, a place that she was born and raised at and she had already see almost all of Ilia but she figured that she could bring Wei there sometime in the future. But seeing the two choices placed at her, she decided on heading to Bern first.
"Let's go to Bern first alright, I actually come from Ilia and started my journey there so their isn't much for me to see but going to Bern would be a great idea, there's alot of stuff that we can do and see there. But Bern would be perfect, there will be so many things to do out in Bern but after we are done with Bern if you want I can show you around in Ilia if you like?"
Sarah was looking forward to heading to Bern but then one thing had come to mind about what Wei said and that was he was leaving out one place so she decided to bring it up to him.
"But hey, what about Sacae, why don't we go there, is there something wrong with Sacae or is it that something happened to you there?"
Sarah was wondering why Wei didn't bring up Sacae as she wanted to know if something big was happening out in Sacae or if there was something that personally effected Wei, with all these questions looming over her head, she waited for Wei's reply.
"Sacae", spoke Wei as a sour expression dawned his face. the scar on his back began to ache as he thought on the homeland of the guy who gave it to him. Wei had some bad memories of the place. Mainly due to people mistaking him for a guy from Bern and that one Jinzo or Chinzo, Wei could not remember his name for the life of him. However Wei vividly remembering his swear of eternal vengeance upon him. Wei had big dreams about returning to the plains and giving the man a scar that matched his own. Let him see how it felt to be at deaths door. That pain was something he swore he would never forget.
"Yeah. sure why not", chuckled Wei as h whipped his horrid expression off his face. "I mean it is a beautiful place filled with wonderful scenery. The culture is also quite interesting. Just keep in mind that they don't really like people from Bern, or people who they think are from Bern. Other than that they are fine people. If you want to visit the region you can count me in. you know before I returned to Lycia I was wondering around that region. Though now that I think about it I heard a strange rumor a while back. According to the grape vine Eturia has been on the war path. They have said to have sent troops to both sacae and Illia. The information I received stated tat the Orange Plague himself leads the sacae invasion force forces. If it is true then Sacae will be in a blood bath. Ironically enough information on the grape vine places Illia army somewhere in sacae after the war in Bern. I wonder if that bit is true. hopefully it is all rumor, but if Eturia is on the war path then we will find out soon enough."
Sarah could tell that just by the look on his face that he didn't Sacae, Sarah to wonder why he didn't like Sacae but she decided to drop that idea as she didn't want to try and bring back bad memories for him. Sarah just went back to eating while he was silent, most likely thinking about something until he spoke up, saying that he's fine with going to Sacae. Sarah stopped eating for abit so she can speak to Wei about their travel plan.
"Well it's good to know that you're okay with going to Sacae but before we go there we will stop at Bern first and have some fun there and then we'll head to Sacae next and finally Ilia. It's gonna be great to be heading to these new places."
While Sarah was in the middle of talking she heard Wei say something about a war going on in Sacae and Ilia, which made her worry about a few things such as her future travel plans and her family back in Ilia but from what the boy said it could be just a rumor which Sarah hoped that it was just a rumor but Sarah decided that they should hurry on with their travel and Sarah went to finish eating the rest of her food and began to speak.
"Well as I said, we'll be heading to Bern first and then to Sacae and Ilia. If there is anything else you need to do here just let me know, if not well let's get ready to head out then, cause I'm ready to go."
So it seemed that the young maiden's path was chosen. They would be first going into Bern and then moving north. It was going to be a rough trip alone simply crossing the mountains. Some of those peaks are legends in there own right. Not to mention the local Wyverns and possibly brigands. Though the word on the street is that Bern has raised security since they won there independence. Passing through the mountains might be a lot easier now. Sure they will have to deal with the boarder guard, but a bit of paper work is far better than a brigands axe. After they get into Bern it should be a lot easier to move around. The roads that lead to the capital are usually well kept. To be honest Wei was not worried about the Bern route. The stuff from sacae and Illia made him nervous. Walking right into a war was not a smart idea. Still it was just rumor, but rumors these days tend to be true.
"well if you are ready to move out lets get going. I just need to make a quick stop in the market and pick up some salt. After that we can hit the road. I should warn you though the mountains are a rough place. They can be beautiful, but don,t let them fool you they are as deadly as any terrain." With that Wei left the inn and moved toward the market. He was going to need that salt to preserve some food. Brigands and Wyverns were not the only danger the mountains held. Starvation was not only a constant, bit it would take you out just as fast. With that I am ready to travel when you are."
