Post by Phi on Apr 30, 2017 18:11:34 GMT -6
Name:Phi Isaacs
Class:Acolyte
Age:19
Born in:Lycia
Appearance:While sporting the frame of a frail-looking girl, it's rather deceiving considerng the respectable constitution her body has. Measuring 5'7" feet and weighing about 135 pounds, she is definitly a thin person in general. Thanks to the years following the fall of Ostia, she gained a noticeable amount of muscle in general from fending off monsters and bandits alike making less frail in general and more used to manual labor.
Not being much for fashion and makeup, her blackish hair is usually kept very simple, probably more often than not simply loose and waving in the wind.
For clothes, she'll usually wear simple acolyte robes from her church, maybe sometimes with a travelling cape over it during her travels. She keeps her tome attached to the her blet, ready to be used at any moment. In general, the robes she wears range from white to yellow and orange. She also keeps with her a backpack since she's usually travelling long distances regularly.
Personality:
Phi is definitly a caring individual, always trying to help others before herself. Though it could said that that kindness reaches self-destructive levels at times since she still cannot forgive herself for her weaknesses. It's almost as if she doesn't seem to put much value into her own life when compared to others. This might mean she'll be more prone to sacrificing herself for others or things of the sort.
She is also very pious, always trying to act in the name of St. Elimine, who she idolises. This means she has not only a desire, but a duty to help others on top of having to purge the unholy beasts that have started to taint Elibe to the core.
She is also quite stubborn about her ideals, usually getting very defensive whenever someone dares to question Elimine or her duty to protect.
History:Living in a small hamlet in Lycia, Phi never knew her parents. She actually lived during her childhood in an orphanage led by the Church of St. Elimine. It didn't take long for her to find faith in their teachings as she started learning light magic with the head acolyte of the church. She also took care of the younger children very often as she seemed to have an affinity with protecting and caring for others. Despite being quite young at that time, she had earned quite a lot of maturity, probably due to having to help out at the orphanage more often than not because of the lack of personnel the place had.
Things were pretty good in general in her life. She would teach the orphans and take care of them like they were all her siblings. Sadly, that life she had built for herself crumbled into pieces when Ostia was destroyed... The orphanage didn't last long sadly as the undead destroyed the main door in mere seconds. Thanks to her inexperience fighting, Phi could only do little to protect the children... Deaths were numerous and Phi was exhausted and badly wounded when help arrived. The scars she earned that day forever remind her of her own weakness and her inability to protect those close to her.
The biggest slap in the face however was when she got wind that the whole thing was orchestrated by Etruria. She couldn't believe that Kraft, the so called prophet of Elimine, would ever let the etrurian army do such a thing... he probably even decided to do it all by himself. For many weeks, she kept fighting with herself that it couldn't be true, all she knew was the church, there was no way their leader was a tyrant... But the truth always emerges at the end. Feeling betrayed that her own church would do such a cruel thing which resulted in children's death, Phi started to think that Kraft wasn't Elimine's true prophet. How could such a monster be related to her in any way? Deciding it would be for the best if she left the country for now, at least until she becomes strong enough to actually defeat those monsters, Phi now vows to do all in her power to try and repent for all of the deaths she couldn't stop by becoming strong enough to protect the people close to her.
