Name:Dominick Poore
Class:Journeyman
Age:16
Born in:Ligure, Etruria
Appearance:Standing at 5 feet and 11 inches tall (180.34 centimeters for you people who have a measurement system that actually makes sense), Dominick Poore is a slightly muscular male with an average shoulder width. He has turquoise colored eyes and a messy dirty blond type of hairstyle that is longer in the front, practically covering one of his eyes, and to the nape of his neck in the back.
He wears a regular brown-sh red shirt that has golden accents along its sides. His pants are a simple gray pair that are slightly baggy, mostly so the pockets in them can be rather large to shove stolen objects in. He wears a pair of regular brown boots that are rather comfortable and to his liking, which give his feet nice protection from terrain hazards such as nails and mud and whatnot.
Personality:Dominick at first glance, appeared to be your typical flirty charmer, who is a bit of an ass. He wasn’t always like this however. In fact, before he moved with his mother to the Western Isles, he was actually very introverted and had low self-esteem. It wasn’t until the soldiers had arrested his father while they lived in Eturia for theft, thus making him and his mother move, had he gained a more extroverted an assertive personality.
He can be rather condescending, not having much regard to how he treats people, unless it is to come up with act to trick people, thus allowing him to steal their money right from them. When he puts on an act, he sounds like the sweetest person who truly cares about those around him, which he truly does if he has come to treat them as friends.
When looking at his general behavior, he always seems to be in a state of bliss, as he is never seen without that smirk laying on his face. Whether this be to putting on an act, or for the pure and simple fact that he likes knowing that he can undermine those for his own gain, is a mystery.
Riko is also rather apathetic when it comes to thinking about how his thievery affects those he takes from. He isn’t phased by the guilt anymore as he has come to realize that if he didn't do this, there would be no real way to keep him and his mother afloat financially.
If you manage to anger Dominick, or try to call him out in his thievery, he will not lower his smirk, but you will see him grinding his teeth, looking like he is ready to pounce on you with his axe that he lugs around with him. In battle, Dominick can be slightly reckless, yet ruthless nonetheless. If he isn't going to fight you though, prepare to chase him, as he will run for the hills.
Dominick is also an extremely caring person when it comes to family. Seeing as his father was arrested, all he has is his mother and he will do anything to protect her. It doesn't matter what came, if anything, or anyone tried to harm her, he will do anything in his power to save her.
In conclusion, Dominick is one of the worst type of people to meet. He puts up an act to fool those into trusting him enough to where he will then find an opportunity to steal their valuables and ditch the scene. He acts all nice and kind, not being one to shy away from acting as a flirt, or charmer to anyone really. However, on the inside he can be kind of meek and doubts himself due to his self-esteem. He used to be troubled by his actions, but now he believes that since he is doing it for his family, it doesn't truly matter.
History:Dominick originally never lived in the Western Isles area. He was born and raised in Ligure really, with his father having been a blacksmith, and his mother being a gardener who worked with the verdant orchids primarily. Growing up, Dominick lived a fine life. Certainly his family never lived up to their last name, and they always joked about that as they were fairly well off.
Dominick liked to help around his father's smithy as he showed him the ropes of how to forge weapons. He also learned his hand at a small bit of gardening from his mother, though not nearly as many things as he learned from his father. He also got to help his father test out the weaponry to make sure the metal was refined enough to where it wouldn't break, which is where he learned a small bit of combat. Nothing truly professional, but he picked up what his father told him nonetheless.
All of that changed though when the officials of the Etrurian government attacked. By attacked, it means they had raided his home and arrested his father. Before they barged in, his father told Dominick to hide with his mother and take a weapon with him, which he did in the form of an axe, the same one he carries with him today. Supposedly the arrest was on the grounds of him stealing supplies for his craft and conspiracy against the church. His father knew better than to struggle, and just accepted his fate.
Sure, Dominick knew his father never truly thought highly of the church, or of the ruler Kraft, but he never tried to do anything against him because he knew it would have been practically suicide. It turns out someone had outed his feelings out to the local enforcement and off he goes. The thievery part was on false charges however, it just was used as all the more reason to arrest him.
After they left, Dominick wanted to chase after them to save his father, but his mother held him back. She knew it would be impossible to even try to reason with them, and yet she also realized that now the two of them were in danger from staying here. As quickly as they could, Dominick and his mother packed the things they needed and moved out of Ligure to the next closest territory, being the Western Isles.
They eventually stopped at the port town of Jutes, and decided that this is where they would be staying. From the money they had saved at their house, they were fine for a year, or two, as they also did odd jobs to earn a bit more coin. It wasn't much longer though that their savings had been spent. They were now living on an extremely tight budget. It hindsight, it makes Dominick laugh. He remember how his family used to joke about their last name. yet here they are now.
He also realized that no matter how much honest work they did, he and his mother couldn't keep living like this. He thought of what he could do, and the only conclusion he kept coming up with disgusted himself. That being thievery. It was at this point where he started to change from his meek personality to become who he is today, being the outgoing devilish charmer. Thankfully he had looks, which made that act slightly easier.
It all started of with him feelign guilty about stealing form those who didn't deserve it, but he always thought back to his mother. He didn't want to put her through this stress of this life and wanted to improve their situation. If that meant resorting to... Blackened means, then so be it.
What never changed though was his hatred of the Etrurian government. They arrested his father and that flared his rage up. He harbored that inside him at all times. He learned of the prison fortress known as Edina housed in the southern part of the Isles.
It was then that Dominick sworn that he would one day go and free his father from imprisonment and bring his family back together. That, along with he sworn he would get revenge for what the government caused to his family.
