Last of the Burning Village Triumvate [OPEN]

Night has come to Worde, in the middle of it the rest of burning village can be seen from the distance, bright flames are usually seen from the distance.

Split is seeing barely, well nothing, flickering his finger to get some spark of light which would allow him to at least not hit the tree, which he did anyways.

Now he is limping around the forest with glass shards stuck in his back due to a failed escape jump wich ended with jumping on his back from the first floor, higher or lower, he doesn't know.
But he does know that he is losing blood, that it hurts and that they are deep within his back, but not deep enough to pierce stuff in his body that would kill him instantly or at least fasten the process of dying in pain.

"This is bullshit... where is God when you need it? Now I understand..." Split said to himself remembering what certain man said to him long ago, back in Etruria. Oh good old memories.

"...Do not peek in a place where you were not supposed to look at... Keep down ...'till you found actual reason to fight... ...You want a war?... ...Gotta eradicate the Illian state of failed scums calling themselves mecernaries... ...Etruria rules the waves... These Lycian's, especially these people from Caelin, we all know its now what I think about them, always putting fingers in places they should rather quiet, its only matter of time before somebody destroys them, either from inside or outside, its inventable. Better for us, nobody likes them anyways.

Gaining experience in dying is only thing I am good at... damn it Leonan..." Split says trying to send some light flare in to the sky, which looks rather like a tiny barrage of needles.
Split after that continues his walk through the forest, its only matter of time 'till he will get robbed or get killed by animals, humans or worse.

Where is hope now? Its not here. But the forest is empty, but yet not, why does he thinks that he is the only person in this place? Does rest got killed of by brigands?

What if they are coming after him now?

Propably not.
But chances are always there. Especially in the middle of the Worde's night.
Land filled with big forests, ravaged by monsters and brigands.

Kayla was flying through the night sky on Polly's back. She had just parted ways with a wanted criminal, so things were certainly less interesting. At least in terms of the company she was keeping. But she was still in Worde, scanning the night sky for something to hold her interest. That was when she saw it. Smoke rising into the air, a lot of it. Everyone knows where there is smoke, there is fire. Where there is fire, there is panic. And of course if there is a town in panic, there is looting to be done.

Kayla smirked as she yanked on Polly's reins to approach the burning village. They approached quickly, thinking of all the spoils to be had. Assuming any bandits in the area hadn't beaten her to the punch. She was certain they were around, in fact, she had worked with a few of them. They weren't the nicest or the smartest of fellows, but Kayla didn't entirely care. As long as she turned a profit and had some fun doing it, she was cool with just about anyone.

Kayla and Polly grew close to the village, she scanned the forest floor. There had to be some people fleeing from the town, unsure of their next move. Kayla thought of these people as easy targets. Then there was a small light show of sparks raising into the air. The culprit was a young mage type. An injured one from the looks of how he was moving. Bingo.

Kayla descended from the sky, suddenly landing a few paces in front of the injured pupil. She waved a palm in the air as a small greeting. "Dang, you sure look like you've seen better days. Eh kiddo?" Kayla probably wasn't much older than the boy to be fair. Though she did enjoy being the senior of a group every now and again.
