Steyr-Western Bern
Around noon
One day while tending the numerous cases of sick and injured people, Marina simply collapsed from exhaustion after staying up for several hours. Ever since the consummation of the civil war the woman had simply not taken a day off in nearly three years of constant conflict. Even though her resolve was unshakable her body was crumbling to the stress so she was very kindly forced to take a short vacation. While scoffing that offer was tempting the reality of the situation was that she could have used some time off, visit her parents whom she hadn't seen in nearly a year. With nothing better to do she began her journey West to Steyr where she was originally from.
it was a trip she made solely accompanied by her mount Edel. A white stead she had acquired shortly after starting this profession she was so proud off. At the relatively calm pace they went the trip barely took two days trough those treacherous mountain roads. Marina knew these mountain trails by memory since they had been extensively used by the Rebel's whom she aided. Every short cut and unlikely hiding place she'd memorizing, having been put in charge of running a field hospital in the crags and caves around these treacherous mountain trails. Luckily the war was over now so the echoes of fighting only lived in her memory of those chaotic days.
By the morning in the second day she had arrived at the shore ,gazing at the magnificent sea and the port city of Steyr just below. It was a lively town where she'd been born and raised, at least until she turned 17 and was sent to enlist. She still held some resentment towards her father for forcing that way of life upon her, no matter they were still her family and the least she could do after getting back in town would be pay them a visit, after all she planned on staying these time with them since it would save her the money she'd otherwise spent at an inn.
The house was located in the southern part of town, upon arriving she was welcomed by her mother who gave her a warm reception. Her mount was taken to the stable so it could rest while Marina got up to date with her mother and the current happenings: Her father was not home, as expected and he was to arrive much later during the day. After much chattering the blond decided to finally ditch away her formal attire and change into a flowing white sun dress, perfect for a sunny day such as these one, ditching those riding boots and putting on more comfortable foot wear now that she didn't have to ride around Edel's saddle.
Her mother suggested her to go to the beach on her own, teasing her it was the perfect time for her to find a partner of her own. Reluctantly she agreed to do it and even put on a modest bathing suit underneath that dress. More than anything Marina wasn't really in the mood to see her father just yet so hopefully she could mess around the seaside for a while but not enough to get sun burned. After leaving home she turned north, walking casually along the streets she was so familiarized with. She couldn't wait to make it to the beach and see if her favorite sea food place was still open.
