Okay. I've sat on this thing for about a year. It's time to get something going. I have a few guidelines for the thread though to make things interesting. Black Ticket threads do not count towards your thread limit so don't worry about your thread slots. For chronology's sake, the thread begins in the village of the Chaklai directly after my current thread taking place there. Feel free to ask questions or offer suggestions. The goal is aimed more towards having fun than taking anything too seriously.
The plot is that Lunie has accepted a job to investigate rumors of troublemakers causing trouble in a supposedly haunted forest a couple days travel north of Chaklai village.
Minimum 4 characters - Maximum 6 characters (Including Lunie)
The thread will take place in Sacae.
A character should at one point have unreasonable trouble with a simple task.
There must be an incident with two characters afraid of a spider. Lunie will likely be one of them but doesn't have to be.
There must be a campfire scene.
Someone (not me) should tell a lore friendly ghost story.
Two of the characters should bond in the thread or be friends prior.
I will begin the thread a week after the minimum number of characters is reached, or when the maximum is reached, whichever occurs first.
If you want, I can throw Dawson your way. After all, I need an excuse to use him again, and since he and Lunie are at least already antiquated, it might be a good way for them to know more about each other.
Oh and, don't worry. There will be NO mention of Draco Guro or his minions in this thread aside from Dawson's past.
Don't think I've seen you use anybody but Dimino lately. Man. How long has it been since there's been a Dawson post? You've been on a roll with Dimino though. It'll be interesting to see how your writing has changed since my first thread, back when Dawson and Lunie met.
Instead of making things combat-centric, I figured having the mini-goals would add to the excitement and would allow characters of any level of experience to come together and everyone could focus more on having fun. Not saying there won't be a fight somewhere, just that I'd rather it not be the focus to a point where having someone too weak or too strong would ruin things. I too am strongly interested in where we can take this highly experimental goal system, and if we can make it work out. I wouldn't mind seeing it catch on for things like quests with the incentive it can bring to the table for interaction and cooperation.
That is a longer version of 'Sure, you can join as Lauren.'
