I'm still rusty with Ike. I always have trouble with slow characters, and he seems to be the only slow character I can handle.

Ike is fairly easy to play period, I think. xD Sheik is really good regardless, I wish I could say she took skill.

Items are fine if you have four-player fights, though. No one gets an edge, since everyone keeps everyone busy. On one on one fights, we tend to disable most items, save for the Smash Ball, and set it to "Low". They are easy to dodge, and don't really decide a fight 90% of the time.

I've always got items set low, and usually only the Smash Ball on. :b Except sometimes I put in the beam sword, because who doesn't want one of those in a sticky situation?

On one on one fights, we tend to disable most items, save for the Smash Ball, and set it to "Low". They are easy to dodge, and don't really decide a fight 90% of the time. With my friends and myself even with when it's four players it ends up with us singling out one person and having 2 1v1 then if one group get's done it either turns into a three way match or the odd man out(who normally got done fighting) sits it out till it's down to 2 people then they go at it. Marth's final smash is a OHKO, sure it is easy to dodge but only an idiot will use it where they can dodge. I was playing Marth online one day, got the smash ball and pit was at 88% would be a waste to use it now, since I rarely use the shield breaker it's not a problem. I lose it and quickly regain the smash ball finish Pit off and wait till his invincibility wears off then catch him when he's got lag from landing when he still had 0%. Timing is key when using most final smash, not asap.

Agreed. However, I hate online matches because of the lag. >.<

I tried online a few times. It sucks. No fighting game is worth being played if it's noticeably more clunky than it is offline. I know, my request sounds stupid and impossible, but one day it'll be possible. It's a matter of servers and good internet speeds.
Seriously, though, pseudo-truces to take out one character are awful, not fun, and not exciting in the least. We don't care most of the time who gets the most kills. It's a plus, but not necessary. The point is having fun(though winning adds a little bit to that). So we tend to do mini-one on one matches when it's a 4 free for all. It's hectic, because the fights tend to intertwine and we end up switching opponents several times each fight, but that's what keeps it interesting. You're fighting a Samus, and all of a sudden the third player sends the fourth player flying your way, and that fourth player ends up hitting you in mid-air and starts fighting with your original opponent.
The longer the four players last fighting, the better.

Especially in a closed-ceiling map with stamina on. ;D

Who goes out and pwns with say Jigglypuff or the Ice Climbers? They are always left out whenever I play, and I prefer Toon Link and Ike

I prefer using Snake due to his quick attacks which are also very powerful of course if they hit. His guns and such do most of the damage, but his kicks and punches are just as good. His projectiles such as his grenades are extremely useful. Though in some stages they can be a pain.
I read that Snake's forward A attack is just as strong as Ike's forward A attack and King Dede's.

The characters I use most are Ike and Zelda. I don't exactly know why but I just started playing with them and got really good at using them. I also like to use toon link.

This game is still fun. If they can fix the lag in the next one (PLEASE LET THERE BE A NEXT ONE), I will again ask Hal to a slug-match. For great justice. Attachments:
