Since we've been talking about WoW in other topics I made a topic here.
Reason why the ally suck: Humans. The undead is called the FORSAKEN no SCOURGE. True the Forsaken used to be apart of the Scourge but they broke away from them and the Lich King but the humans HAVE to destroy them because they're not living. The blood elfs were apart of the Ally at one point, they went to attack somebody and Naga's showed up attacking the same people. Naga's are viewed as evil by both Horde and Ally. The ally assumed BElfs were allies with the Naga. Now onto their hatred for the Orc. Back in Warcraft there was the Horde(who now are the burning legend) and some of the orcs didn't like that life style so they broke apart and fought a war with them for the name of Horde. They won the right to call themself the Horde and broke away from the now Burning Legend yet humans treated them as if were still apart of them.
Thrall has tried to put the past behind them and work with the ally to defeat the real evil of the world. Even when working together the leaders of the humans still treated the orcs like they were lower then dirt and were aggressive towards them. In Northrend at WotLK's launch they still fought but still worked together. One time it shows that is the Wrathgate in Dragonblight. The time Uld was released they had a teasor trailer where the two factions are no long working together against the Lich King, due to the human leader.
Now I dislike Dwarfs due to being a big DnD fan and they never got along with Elvish people there. Then gnomes are too tiny x.x

Humans are superior. We have the RIGHT to hate every other creature. We are the rulers of Azeroth and in the end the era of man will come and every other race will be destroyed.
Except for trolls and goblins, they be cool, aaight.

When people play WoW they should choose a race based on game-play, not lore; it seems like the most logical choice. Don't get me wrong, I love WoW lore, but choosing a race/faction based off lore just doesn't seem right (Unless its for a role-playing reason). When I first got WoW-and was waiting for it to install-I read through the manual and website, looking at classes and races, eventually narrowing it down to the class: priest. For race I went to the website and looked at starting stats for the races. I narrowed that down to Human and Forsaken. I went with the human because of the higher stamina=better survivability. Now, I think it really wouldn't of made a difference now, but for games I always choose what the most logical choice for advancing in the game with a certain class. (Yes trolls and goblins kick-ass, and Shadow agrees, but I'm not sure if he'll post here)

Trolls and Goblins be deh greatest, mon!
Yes, it just so happens that I am a fan of the Trolls. Mostly, because when I started playing, I had no help what-so-ever about making a character. I went a little off of the lore, and I went a bit off of the logic. I came up with my character, who is a Troll Warrior. The class isn't the hardest to play, nor the easiest (especially if you happen to be the tank in a group...). And I also knew that the rest of my family plays, so I HAD to be Horde. Even if I had the choice, I probably still would have went with the Horde anyways.
... I eat Gnomes for breakfast.

Mmmmmm... gnomes. Anyways, trolls aren't a bad choice. Their starting stats for warriors and their racials make them great for DPS warriors. Right now my new main is a troll priest. Reasons for picking this race/class combo is 1. To make a l33t troll/troll combo with Shadow and 2. Psychological reasons (I love trolls, forsaken starting area sucks for clothies, I hate all elves)

The lore is the MOST important part of the game, face it without the lore there is no game. They had to have the scourge invaid SW and Org to push both factions into northrend. Thrall saw them as a threat but it's more of a motive when they attack you in your home. They couldn't give the horde a cool event without giving the ally something. The ally is the easiest to push into anything, use the humans desire to rid the world of all evils, or ones who fight against the same "evils" but look like them.
Some times the racial don't mean they'll be better for that class. Like me on my Blood Elf Hunter, survival, keeping up with a Marksmen(best hunter DPS atm) Troll hunter using a bow. When it comes down to it, Blood elf's don't have the best racial for any class. Extra points into chanting, w/e. A 2% chance spells will miss more so a pvp talent along with their last one. Arcane torrent. The most it can do is give me the mana i need for a Kill Shot as a Hunter : /
It's kinda funny, only two undead classes aren't clothies. Tranquilan has a quest that leads to UC and triggers Slyvanas' song, it's amazing. Back on Draka pre-bc when there was no achivement for downing the faction leaders the ally were planning an attack and heard her start to sing, most of them never heard it before so they stopped their attack and waited it out to listen to it.
IMO the only time you should worry about the racials is when you roll a toon on PvP servers.

Sylvana? Would that be Sylvana Windrunner? I liked how she was promoted from a normal unit in Reign of Chaos to a hero in Frozen Throne.
I still prefer the strategy game to the grindfest, to be honest. If WoW were to fall from it's current position and lose millions of members, Blizzard would be forced to come out with Warcraft 4, which I would love. So yes, I wish for WoW to burn.

I know that lore is important, I was just saying that its not important when choosing a character. Wait... you're on Draka? Coincidence... Ya, I remember that quest, it was pretty cool, I believe the song is called Lament of the Highbourne.

Ya, my main character (also my first) is on it, been playing on that server for almost 3 years now. He's a human priest in the guild Zealous, but now that I've started a new main in Black Dragonflight, he's not really my main anymore.

Syvalnas Windrunner was a High Elf when the scourge attacked the sunwell. She is the "Ranger" class of warcraft. He was killed and brought back as a banshee under the control of Arthus, the Lich King. She was able to get her body back and defected creating the Forsaken faction and joining the Horde. Thus gaining the "Banshee queen" title in WoW.
But I think I've seen that guild before, I know remember a few of the ally ones. Like "We steal TVs" "The Knights of Ni", and "MIDNIGHT FURY"(i have an alt in that one. People I met in IL runs it.) But Horde has a spin off of the "We steal TVs" guild, "We steal HDTVs". Horde had some of the greatest guild names on Draka that I've seen. "But she said she was lvl 18" "Sapped girls can't say no"
Since you play ally on Draka you know who Edvardo, a human warrior is?

So she IS Silvana Windrunner. I should get a rundown of the plot of WoW, just to know more about the events after Frozen Throne.
Is Arthas still the leader of the undead, with power over the Legion?

Ok, the Undead is broken down into two factions like the orc. There is the PC race Undead who goes by the Forsaken led by Lady Silvanas and there is the Scourge who is led by the Lich King. When Arthus found the Frostmoarn he was driven to find a helm(can't remember the name of it.) which turned him into the Lich King.
There are two factions of Orc, The Horde(the new one) and the Burning Legion(old Horde). Kil'jaeden was a powerful demon that was able to get to Azaroth from the Sunwell, he commands Illadain who was once a Night elf druid, Illadain is one of the generals of the Burning Legion, as well as Vasjh the leader of the Naga, and Kel'thas the Blood Elf prince. I think they've got a WoW-wiki for all of the info that would be a lot more correct then I am. But this I do know, Sargeus(spelling is off, also that's the strongest Warcraft god that commands Kil'jaeden) gave an Orc a terminus amount of power. Due to treason Sargeus told Kel'jaedean to end him. He spit him into two. His power was placed in a helm and sword. I'm sure you know the rest from there.
But the Arthus vs Illidain fight in Icecrown was the only reason why I did that 130+ quest in Icecrown just to see it. It was the only fight Arthus almost lost.

(did you even play Reign of Chaos and Frozen Throne, Drew? If not, I recommend you do)
I think I remember Silvana getting out of Arthas' control at some point in Frozen Throne, but it was never mentioned that she then made an entire group of her own(I recall that Silvana tried to attack Arthas once or twice, to no avail, of course). Arthas became Lich King at the end of Frozen Throne, so yes, I knew he had full command of the Scourge. For that he first got Frostmourne in Reign of Chaos, and the helmet of the Lich King in Frozen Throne(no name was given to it in Frozen Throne. Maybe WoW gave the helm a name?).
The split of the Orcs happened before any of the W3 games, but the Burning Legion was never stated to be made of Orcs. Rather, it was always demons and golems. They might have changed that at some point.
I remember someone by the name Kil'jaeden(or similar), but I can't remember for the life of me WHO that is. Illidan was stated to be one of the highest ranking generals in the Burning Legion back in Frozen Throne, and Lady Vashj, leader of the Nagas, was subjected to him. Kael'thas made a trust with Illidan at some point, but I don't think it developed past that in FT. It was stated several times that he was somewhat corrupted(almost having Maiev be killed by Malfurion at one point).
I don't recall anyone by the name of Sargeus(or even remotely similar). And should I assume that this orc's power was then put into Frostmourne and the helmet of the Lich King?
Also, Arthas had beat Illidan once before in a one on one, at the end of Frozen Throne, though Arthas won by far. It was just after that that Arthas became the Lich King.
