This has been compiled primarily to walk newbies through the character creation process as well as general integration to the site, but includes information that existing members may find useful as well.
Code of Conduct
First off, we have the general rules by which all members must abide both in-character and out. Please familiarize yourself with and follow all of them!
Registering a Character
Here, you can find the basic profile skeleton you will use to register your character, as well as a brief summary of available classes, restricted starting locations, and starting weapons. It's ok to add extra stuff to the profile skeleton, but please include all of the required information.
Lore of Way of the Warrior
For those of us who haven't yet memorized every single location in the Blazing Sword world by heart, or those who need to catch up on the goings-on of FE:WotW, this topic should be helpful.
Shop
Once accepted you can use the shop to pick up a free starting weapon according to your class, and once you gain gold you'll return here to spend it.
Leveling and Promotion
Way of the Warrior does not use the same leveling system as the games; we measure character strength primarily by post count, and different promotions require varying post counts.
Alternate Accounts
For those of us who like to play more than one character at once, there are rules attached to unlocking additional, and eventually infinite, alts.
Battle System
If you are not familiar with the normal rules of freeform roleplaying, please be sure to read this topic; it offers a lot of useful information regarding fighting both Non-Player Characters (NPCs) and Player Characters (PC).
Dragons
While it is possible to roleplay as a dragon, rather than a human, the class is held to a higher standard than most and labors under more restrictions - with great power comes great responsibility! Be sure to read this topic and discuss your plans with a staff member before registering one. More lore information on dragons can be found here.
Magic
Our magic system on WotW is very robust. Please read over the magic topic if you find yourself interested in such things. Also, if you purchase a magic weapon, please make sure to create a weapon profile on the character journal board.
Admins are Kenshin and Nayru Moderators are Ilheod, and Mila.
Alternate Universe, this takes place in the same world as The Blazing Sword(Elibe) but none of the characters are the same as they were in the game.
Avatars, also referred to as mugshots or portraits, can either be made yourself or requested in the [Art Requests] subforum for those of us who lack artistic talents. The maximum size for Proboards avatars is 100x100 (in pixels); while the forum will attempt to autoresize larger images, ones with non-symmetrical dimensions (ex. 100x70) may need to have their exact size defined in Profile->Modify Profile->the field right below Avatar URL.
Help! I just joined - wat do?

Okay, but how does this RP thing work?
