Theian smiles, and brings out a smaller bag. It was filled with salvaged food from the ruins of the burnt city. "I came prepared. I also have a canteen filled with water, so we should be fine. Alright, provided that Bane can fly over mountains, we can fly right into Sacae. From there, we'll find a stream, rest one or two nights there, and then fly on toward Ilia or Etruria. From there, we can go toward the Westen Isles, or stay in Ilia to join a mercenary guild."
He gets a slice of ham from the bag, and tries to get Bane to eat some. "Now, if Bane can't fly over mountains, we're in some trouble. We can fly over the camp west into the Ostian Pass, and then into Sacae that way. If you feel risky, we can fly west through Lycia, right into Bern, and plan from there. Do you follow?"

Richter frowned. "No, I didn't commission it," he replied. "It must have been the Herald." After all, Richter was being watched, and if Clair needed a uniform, it would make sense that he had one tailored for her. Ah well, it wasn't of any significant importance. What mattered was that she had a uniform.
"Oh, yes, Mavick there is our new tactician. I'm a High Officer now. Can't only have you as my only adviser, can I?" Richter glanced in Mavick's direction. "I just sent him off to get some more Etrurian looking robes, is all. Hopefully he'll get something for his brother, too. I'm already on thin ice as it is and I don't need that empty-head getting me into more trouble than is necessary..." He looked over Clair's shoulder to see Kynlis and a white haired girl, who introduced herself as Aleth, approach.
"If you're looking to be hired, I'm the commanding Officer," said Richter, stepping forward. He looked her up and down. She was more professional than Theian was, that was for sure. The only thing that bothered him was...was she missing an arm? Richter furrowed his eyebrows. "Can you fight?"

Aleth didn't falter, not even flinch, when Richter asked if she could fight. This was definitely no time to get all emotional about a little disability.
"Yeah I can fight and I did well enough with getting out of that mess with a kid on my back," she responded, her tone not changing from a professional's standpoint. But that does remind her, hows the magic man handling back there?

OOC: The wonderful thing about Lyar is I can go AFK but immediately pop back in in a random yet fitting way.
IC: "ONE ARM GIRL!" Lyar sprung into action instantaneously, hurdling over a sitting guard eating soup while he charged forward and wrapped his arms around Aleth in one of his patented bearhugs," YOU ARE OKAY TOO!" he was quite happy. While the rest of the people had took off, Lyar had gone into was was deemed his temporary tent, and had removed his armor for the time being (OOC:mug may come soon), but nonetheless was the same bumbling lovable oaf from before.
Once setting her down, he rested his fists at his sides, making small dust marks on his blue and white stripped privateer uniform, his blue baggy pants also dirty. he then put his hands at his side, and saluted Richter in a rather unfitting way (being as Lyar is all happy and playful)," Commander Abend, what orders do you have for me?" Lyar thought this was a sort of new game he could play, pretending to be an army man would be fun!

Her eyes seemed quite determined to get the job, and she seemed quite sure of herself when she said she could fight. The situation being as it was, they weren't really in a position to be rejecting fighters. "Well, in that case, welcome to the army. I'll need to know your name," Richter said, though "know your name" was all drowned out by a loud yell. Richter swiveled his head to see the disturbance, and found Lyar barreling over a soldier. The soldier didn't seem to happy about it, but didn't want to do much about it. After all, Lyar was huge.
"My first orders would be to get out of my way so that I may finish recruiting 'one arm girl'," Richter replied to the blue haired oaf's question. He his enthusiasm was...good, but this really wasn't the time. Actually, it would never be the time for Lyar, but Richter would make due. He looked back at the one armed mercenary. "So what's your name and what's your price? Your parents didn't name you 'one arm girl' and only idiots," he said, quickly glancing at Lyar, "work for free."

Aleth swore that Lyar was trying to kill her and being one armed just made it a whole lot harder to struggle with. "My name Aleth, and its not like I was born with one arm" she responded, remembering what her parents had taught her. The important keypoints of making a deal: - Don't falter, keep a straight serious face.
- Know what the soldiers/others are getting paid and adjust accordingly to skill and need.
- Make sure that all expenses are being paid by the employer.
- MOST IMPORTANTLY OF ALL, DO NOT TELL THE EMPLOYER TO NAME THEIR PRICE
"As for prices, of course I hope the army would pay for the general necessity such as food and armor. I don't mind living conditions (seeing as it could be a whole lot worse), but for the current price, I'm not picky about that all, just whatever you want to pay," she said as a matter-of-factly sort of tine, at the last part she couldn't help, but let her voice sound a little childish. Oh, her parents really would kill her if they found out. "Money isn't the most important thing in the world," she said, this time her voice distant and trailing off.

Richter stroked his beard as he thought. "Aleth, alright then," he said, coming to a conclusion. "The army will pay for your food, clothing, and whatnot, like the other soldiers. As for your actual earnings, you'll get the standard fare, like everyone else. Take it or leave it, I'm not offering any more."

While Commander Richter was inducting Aleth into the army and the bear-man - whose name she still didn't know - was doing...stuff, Kynlis sidled up to Clair. Noticing the new uniform, she grinned and said, "Well, look at you! That uniform looks good on you."
"So, we arrive late to the battle, followed by zombies attacking. What's next on the agenda?"

"Yes I think, I never was good with directions, that's why I'm here! I think I got it though, fly over mountains into Sacae, find the stream, rest a while, then fly to wards Ilia and join the mercenary guild. Correct?" he saddled up Bane and hopped on. What's a mercenary guild? It's obviously a guild of some sort...

Theian smiles. "Perfect. Don't worry about getting lost, I've got it down. Alright... let's fly!"
----------------------------
At the sky, Theian goes over his items. Maybe if he twisted the teeth... it worked! He twists the gold teeth off and places them in his pocket... "That'll do well, now to get rid of this bag and its remains!" He sees Mavick below... "That'll work."
While Theian sees the bag of zombie jaws fall toward Mavick, Theian prays that wind won't take it off course... "Eragon, I'm worried about being caught. Are you sure we're high up enough, so we won't be found?"

Lyar simply scampered off, before spotting that blonde girl who was in the fire/zombie apocolypse thing, and in his typical fashion, barreled on over and scooped her up in a quick bearhug," HAHAHA! YOU ARE SAFE LITTLE BLOND BUDDY!" setting her down, he rested his fists on his sides, looking up at the black clouds in the sky, beginning to daydream until his spear friend from before came up, "Hey, you'd best get yourself some standard armor, seeing as you're one of us now- wait, scratch that, we may need to get you fitted first..." a slight grumble here as he took the mentally minuscule monstrosity by the hand and began leading him to yet another tent.

Thin ice, The High officer said? Well, she didn't imagine that the news of Yurau's death had gone over well, and now the barricade officer thought he ran things too slack.
While the Commander, and Aleth were discussing recruitment, Clair grinned at Kynlis and spoke quiet enough to not interrupt the others.
"Looks like it was worth carrying through all that mess after all. It's much more durable than my old stuff." She knocked on the armor with her knuckles as if to demonstrate.
Kynlis continued. "So, we arrive late to the battle, followed by zombies attacking. What's next on the agenda?" This directed Clair's thoughts back to her schedule she was beginning to develop.
"I'm not sure yet, but you may consider yourself un-recruited from helping organize that task earlier. The food distribution." It would still need to be done, but some things had changed since she'd received those orders. It suddenly struck her as slightly comical that she was already thinking about organization stuff after escaping from a now leveled city. Mmm...I guess armies demand that kind of thought.
It would actually be easier to distribute food now that the people were being sent to camps, so that was something.

"Sounds good enough for me, so whats your orders sir?" Aleth asked, back to her serious tone. She looked around the place for a minute and saw the damage this even had caused. People were dying, shouting, some confusion here and there. Well, there is definitely work to be done here.

Richter looked around. It was getting late, but there was so much to be done. Should he wait for orders or...? No, these people needed help and he was a High Officer. He had the authority to help these people, and he'd use it. That was his goal, was it not? "We need to get the supply distribution going," he said, mostly to himself. "These people need it now more than ever..." Richter turned to Clair and Kynlis. "It's been a long day, but we still have a job to do. I'm going to go to the quartermaster and see what supplies we were able to save from the city." He gestured toward the three girls the pointed his thumb over his shoulder. "You three are going to come with me. Feldsky, you and Kynlis are going to assist me in overseeing the distribution, and Aleth, we need to get you a uniform."

Morgoth found his way back to the tent area and saw Mavick get hit with a bunch of random zombie parts. What was that? He walked over to where Mavick was and asked "What do I need to do so that you'll train me? You yell at me for being ignorant, yet you just leave it be. If your so worried about me possibly blowing someone up by accident or killing myself and mad about me practicing where people can see, then why don't you do something about it?" Morgoth kicked a rock. "If your not going to teach me, can't you at least tell me a little about this Elder magic?" Maybe I'll find easier, slower ways to kill people he thought.
