Clair's movement gave Nayru a chance to inspect the other woman surreptitiously, not really having anything more interesting to look at. Funny what taking your armor off could do, not that the human looked bad in it. "You are quite beautiful, Clair." Turning back to her self-appointed task of trying to clean off her grime-encrusted clothing, Nayru let a small smile creep onto her face, almost mischievous but certainly genuine. She hadn't actually meant to say that, but as a dancer she felt a certain compulsion to assess physical beauty. Or maybe she was just a creeper. The thought amused her more than any projections about her new friend's reaction - it seemed so ridiculous, but Nayru supposed that she ended up naked in inappropriate situations, going by human standards, that it wasn't that far off.
Just another example of how different the races were; while dragons could be every bit as vain as any human, and arguably moreso given the race's common penchant for shinies, there was a certain disconnect in most dragons between their human forms and their true forms. It was something like a human and their pet dog, she had learned over time; much as humans never really considered that their pets were unclothed on a regular basis, never even considering that as "wrong," she still found that seemed irrelevant to her. She clothed herself out of social mores and a fondness for the fabrics and decorations rather than an innate need to be covered. How many centuries had she spent with humans to still feel like that?
[AWYEAH FINISHING THINGS ON AN AWKWARD NOTE. Seriously though I'm fine leaving it there or if you want to respond that's k but I think Nayru has said everything she's going to for now, she's focusing on cleaning her stuff off anyways, so your call on whether this is over now or with your next post.]
