Dio would catch his breath finally and walked over towards a wall away from the raging crowed. He was draining himself way to fast, and he could see that there are still more of those assassins. "What the blazes is going on?" Shaking his head, he would stand up and slide himself into a building near by which was a Resturant.

"Alright listen up", shotued Helen. Her voice was raised from anger. "We are going to have to split up for a moment. Sorry big man, but we are going to need you to head in a different direction."
"What, what kind of plan is that", shouted Orland as a man burst from the crowd with a blade. He was backed up by two four more people.
"No time to argue", spoke Helen as she clashed with one of the assailants. Orland stabbed forward with his spear, cutting on of the swordsmen in his side with the tip. The myrmidon rushed forward and attempted to counter. The giant blocked the incoming blow with his shield and threw the man backwards. He then delivered a strike to his chest and finished him off.
"Fine whatever", shouted Orland. The situation was not good. Sooner or later the clan that was after them was going to send in their more skilled members. "Where do we meet up", shotued Knight as he moved toward a restaurant. His friends began to go in the opposite direction.
"Meet us in Littlerock", shouted Han as the rest of the group pushed their way through the city. It was now a matter of time for Orland. He needed to get out of there before the assassins could cut off his escape route. Being by himself made him a better target. In a since the rest of the group was using him as bait. The very idea pissed him off, but he knew they could not move with him around. He needed to get out of the city , or keep a low profile till everything calmed down, but being as big as him that was not an easy task. As Orland approached the restaurant he noticed Dio next to it.
"So you are still alive Mage", spoke Orland.

Looking at the giant, he would say in return. "Yes I am, and I see that you are too Oger. It would seem you over stayed your welcome here and that I'm a target as well for aiding you. So I suggest we get out of this village as fast as we can and make like the wind." Peering around, he would look to see if anyone was following and to his dismay, Orland was followed. A few guys was tracking him down through the crowed. Pointing to the back of the building he would then say, "Out the back. We will have to narrow quarters to fight in here Oger. Lets hurry." Not waiting to hear what he had to say, Dio was already weaving through the group of people who was watching everything outside towards the back of the building where he met little to no resistance from the workers there.

"Oger, that ain't my name Mageie", spoke Orland. The giant could not tell it was an insult. He had never heard of an orger before so he figured it was a misguided attempt at pronouncing his name. "The name is Orland. O..r..land", spoke the giant as Dio began to lead them. In his mind they could have killed them and be done with it, but in a situation like this he knew it was better to just run. With Orland it was always a duality with him. On one hand he wanted to just crush everything and overpower his problems with brute force, but he knows that brute force does not always succeed. Some times he would have to simply go around it and take another path. The two forces always played a game with each other. One pulling him in once direction and the other pulling him in another.
Orland followed Dio despite his more primal thinking. He made his way back toward the back of the building. What resistance he would have got from going this way was immediately broken when the saw the size of the massive man.

As they made their way out of the building and into an alley way. Dio would then say to him. "I know your name isn't Oger, it's a mythological Creature that is a Giant and a ruthless brute. Much like yourself. And my name is Dio." As they went through the village, it would have seemed that they lost their prosuers for the time being. Mixing in with the crowed again, he looked back and saw how badly Orland stuck out. Shaking his head, he began to think of an Idea. Grabbing the Knights hand, he lead him to a cart that was being pulled by four mules. "Sit down in the cart." He went to the man who was leading the animals and began to talk to him. After a bit, Dio gave him some herbs and a few gold coins for the cart and the Donkeys. Grabbing the reins, he would begin to lead them through the streets. This was to make sure that he didn't get spotted.

"Mytho what", spoke Orland, but he dropped the conversation. He did not know what htis Oger was, but in truth he did not care. The knight and the Shaman moved through the back, but Orland stood out thanks to his height. Dio however came up with an idea of using a cart to hide him. Orland thought the idea was not going to work, but he put his faith in the shaman's idea. It was a bit weird how he and Dio seemed to be on the same side, but people trying to kill you both seems to have a binding effect. The knight laid back in the cart and stared up into the sky. His feet were hanging out the back. He was going to need a way to get to Burn once things settled down.

Dio kept a strong grip on the donkey's reins as they came closer and closer to the gates of the Village. But a few men would be standing there waiting for the two to either fight them or to run back into the village to be hunted down like ravage dogs. The shaman haulted the cart as he began to think of an idea. He kept his head looking from one side to the next as if looking for something or someone so it wasn't to suspicious. "Orland, you better hang on tightly. This ride is going to get rather bumpy. And lift our legs up, your an easier target if they see them." Walking over towards the donkey's, he would reach into his bag where he kept his herbs. Taking out a pepper and a sharp rock, he would cut each donkey just slightly. Then the rock cut the small red peppers. Taking them, he would slap the wounds with the pepper making it sting like hell which in turn, made the donkey's run like a bat out of hell. The ride was now bumpy a bit as it ran off. The people around laughed for they thought that Dio lost his cart by accident and thought of it as bad luck on him. 'Take care big guy, may our paths meet once more.'

It was so peaceful. The clouds and the sky. Then out of nowhere it suddenly got bumpy and bumpy fast. The cart suddenly picked ups speed and the donkeys pulling it seemed to have gone wild. The knight began to panick a bit. He was not sure what was going on, but he knew being on the cart was bad. With a quick kick he knocked the side of the cart off and rolled off the side of it. The giant hit the ground hard as his steel armor let out a bang. Everything seemed to spin for a moment as Orland finally got to his feet. The knight looked around and saw the other side of the gate. He looked around for the mage, but could not see him.
"What in the world happened", spoke the knight.

"Whatever", spoke Orland. He needed to get out of the region. He did not have time to worry about the mage or the reason he was speeding down the road in a cart. The more he thought about it the more he got ticked off at the mage. Still he had aided him in escaping the men after his head so he could not complain.
"Well since the others are headed towards Bern I might as well go to etrulia", spoke Orland as he began to walk off. The sounds of guards and movement filled the city behind him as people moved to apprehend the assassins. "Best of luck guys", spoke Orland as he walked off into the sun set. Thread End
