It was time for a change. Orcleous knew he could no longer walk the path he was on. As glamorous as it looked the way of the assassin was not the path for him. He needed a new path, a new goal. What better goal than to master the blade. Though mastery of the sword required practice and Orland could not achieve this on his own. He had been fighting by himself for quite some time, but even still he was no where near as skilled as he hoped. A wondering warrior once told him that true strength comes from unity and Orcleous wanted to become strong. However there was no real unity between a weak swordsman like himself and a skilled user of the blade. He needed people on his level. People who would experience growth like he did. People he could share his frustration with and work out problems along side. In order to medicate this problem the young novice traveled to sacae. It was a land of swordsmen and great warriors. If there was any place that he would find people looking to master the blade then it would be here. Orcleous stopped in a town called Mek and began to set up posters in hopes of attracting people who desire to take up the sword. The posters read
Looking for those with little to no experience with the blade. Come those who seek to master the sword, but wish to do so with others around your strength level. Come to the Den of the Disturbed, or better known as the tavern black. Tell the innkeeper you seek to walk the Road of Arms.
Orcleous sat at the back of the tavern hoping for anybody to show up. He did not expect much since the poster asked for swordsmen with little to on experience. Many Saceans took pride in their blade and would probably ignore such an offer, but the ones who came they would be the ones he wanted. People who could put aside their pride and fight with the intentions of aiding each other.

So here he was, back in the land of his birth in a town called Mek. Looking around the town for a bit he saw a poster looking for people that are new. Well it was apparently to get stronger so it couldn't hurt too much, right? Signaling to his dog, he set off towards where the poster had said to meet. Walking into the tavern he said to the bartender "I seek to walk the road of arms." and after that the bartender motioned him towards a table at the back of the tavern where he sat down across from another person. He then gave a slight whistle to call his dog to his side.

Ingrid was excited at what she just had read. "We need an Ingrid, to be Ingrid and to grow into a stronger Ingrid", that is at least how it sounded in her mind. She raced her way to the tavern pointed by the poster.
She walked in the Tavern and did exactly as the poster said and the keeper pointed at a table in the back of the place.-hi.- She greeted, trying to sound friendly. Sitting on the other side of the table she tried to think of anything to start a conversation.- I'm starving! i think i'll have soup, what about you?.

An archer thought Orcleous to himself. He wanted swordsmen not archers. He then thought back to his posters and realized that he did not specify. It was a mistake on his part, but it was too late now. He would just have to deal with an archer. In truth though having an archer around would not be a bad thing.
"So you are a hunter", spoke Orcleous. Before the man could sppek another person walked up to the table. This time it was a woman. She had a sword. Yes a swordsman, wait swordswoman thought Orcleous. He did not let his excitement show on his face, but the novice was happy to have another blade user aboard.
"Hello there", spoke Orlcoeus. immediately after greetings the woman moved to order food. Talking on a full stomach was better than talking hungry. People were always more friendly that way, or more agreeable. "Well I guess I will take some duck", spoke Orcleous.

It had only been a few months since the young man had set off on his adventure. His goal were to seek fame and fortune and the riches that came along with it. Sadly he have had little luck on the adventure so far as many was unwilling to hair a lad who were still as green with a blade as himself. Yet, he couldn't give up not yet. It was around this time that the road of life brought him to the town of Mek and there a poster. It seemed someone was looking to people, people with low skilled with the blade. It was a odd request for anyone to ask for, but yet it seemed to be Stark best hope so far.
Hurrying to the Tavern Black Stark wasted no time as the approached the barmen. "I seek to walk the Road of Arms." He said and were quickly pointed toward the back. It seemed he wasn't the first to show up as three other now sat around the table. He would take the last empty side of the table as he set his sword leaning against it. With a smile he would greet the other as he lean back in the chair. "Greeting there. Anything with meat in it will be fine for me."

"So you are a hunter" the fist person there said. before Kyle could give a reply though another person came in and sat down. She ordered the soup. before he could say anything, like he would anyway, another person came over and sat at the last chair at the table, where were all these people coming from? Was everyone here inexperienced? Or was one of them a teacher? Nah, they couldn't be they were about his age. Well since everyone was ordering things anyway he might as well order too, he was kinda hungry and it'd be best to save his food for later. "I'll just have some water and two steaks" He said quite quietly, people would probably have to strain to hear him.

It didn't took long for her soup to arrive and she didn't wasted time to start eating it. It had been some time since She had anything with a bit of flavor which made her really happy, almost forgetting why was she there.- Oh! I'm Ingrid, I didn't meant to be rude i just do silly things when hungry.- She introduced herself without even letting go of the bowl.
The soup didn't stood much of a chance against it's fierce rival, who's hunger seemed to be unquenchable.-Hahh!- she sighed satisfied after devouring the content of her plate.- Alright, i'm all ears. Why are we here?.

"Ingrid", spoke Orcleous with a smile. There was something about this girl that made him smile a bit. Maybe it was her cheerful attitude, or her love of soup. Orcleous duck was still being cooked so the Novice was still waiting. He figured this would be a good time to introduce himself to all the others.
"Well Since Ingrid already started I will go ahead and introduce myself. My name is Orcleous and I am the one who put up the posters. I have been traveling for a good bit, but in truth I have not learned much about my blade, nor have I truly gotten stronger. I asked a aged swordsmen once told me that the people around me would make me strong. So I sought to gain people who could aid me in that task. However I found that hanging around people far above my level did not aid me in becoming stronger so I decided to find people around my level of skill. For the sake of becoming strong let us travel together."
It was a corny speech. Orcleous had put some thought into it, but he really did not like it. Still it was the best he could come up with. Hopefully the other's thought it was good.
"Oh I almost forgot", spoke the Novice. "My goal is to gain strength. I know I practically spelled it out in my speech, but I wanted everyone to say their name and their goals. It would not be fair if I did not tell you all my own. However if it is very personal you don't have to say", added Orcleous to end his speech.

With his head resting on his fist holding him up on the table he listen as the other spoke. The first was a young man which Stark missed most of what he said since he spoke so low. The second was a young girl named Ingrid, a bit of a odd one but seemed nice enough. The last to speak seemed to be the one who had placed the flier and poster up. His name was Orcleous and it seemed he wanted to form a group to likewise people in order to increase their strength. It made sense, after all the old saying was Strength in number.
Then again Stark truly didn't care so much for the whole group thing, but if it enable him to grow stronger and reach his goal then so be it. He might as well try to be friendly. With a grin he would rise his head. "My name is Stark. And my goal is plain and simple: Gold. The reason for it is mine and mine alone. But here hoping a long and... profitable partnerships." he said with a happy tone as he lifted up his cup, toasting before taking a drink.

The people of the group started saying their names and their goals. Oh joy. It seemed that his goals were similar to those in the group, was that a good thing? They would be more focused on their tasks. Was it a bad thing? going after gold is not always the best choice, nor is power. if they did something wrong it would or should be easy to track a group. Ah well might ass well tell them his name. "My Name is Kyle." He said looking down at the steaks that had just arrived. Lowering one of the steaks down to the ground, his dog began to graciously feast upon the cooked flesh. Not wanting to be left out he cut the steak into chunks and began to eat them one by one. taking not on how bland the flavor was compared to what he was used to cooking. There was a reason he preferred to cook. Shoot he hadn't said anything about his goals. "Oh, my goals? I will complete them." He didn't want to state his goals to the group just yet. Sure he wanted money and power. But if everyone knows he wanted power might they try to stop him f he was close to achieving it? He should learn soon enough with this group.

Listening to all of them made Ingrid realize she wasn't much different from them. Money, power, Though that wasn't her only reason.- Well, I'm Ingrid, you all already heard that and, i want to prove father the real value of a sword. That's the reason i left home and all.- She made it sound as if it had been the right choice but deep it was something that still troubled her, only going forward to keep her pride to the eyes of her tribe. "If you are gonna do it, do it all the way and do it right", was the phrase that ecoed in her mind.
I hope we can get along, on arrow by itself is fragile, but many together will never break!.- She added trying to be inspiring to the group.

"Nice words", spoke Orcleous at Ingrid phrase. As he finished speaking his duck arrived. The waitress set the plate of food down in front of him and walked away. The novice pulled off a piece and placed it into his mouth. He then looked at everyone around the table. "Well as a group I think we should start to focus on our goals. I have something that will satisfy both coin and strength." Orcleous reached into his bag and pulled out four pieces of paper.
"Careful with these", spoke the novice as he placed them on the center of the table. On the pieces of paper were names and a description along with a rough drawing. "This is Bata's Beasts", spoke Orcleous. "They are a pretty weak group of bandits. They number at five total, but one of their members has been separated from the group."

Stark would cross his arms as he continue to only listen to the group. So far it appeared the group goals was to gain strength, gold, a mystery, and honor. A little of a odd combo, but one Stark was willing to go along with for now. Hopefully this investment would work in the end and blossom result. Just as his food made it way to Stark, beef stew, the one called Orcleous would present four pieces of paper.
Moving pass the food Stark quickly reached forward taking the poster from the center of the table. Wanted poster and some just around there level. However, even with even numbers Stark still wasn't sure of the odds. Then again he really didn't know the skills of the other in the group. At the word "separated" a grin would cross the young man face as the place the paper back. "So the idea is to hunt them down one by one? A sound strategy for our level." he said as he stab a bit of meat with a knife. "And the prices on their heads ain't to bad either."

So there first task was to kill bandits, eh? Hopefully more than just one of them is separated if this group was really as inexperienced as they seemed to be. They should be able to take on one or maybe two if they were lucky but anymore and they would die for sure. Well at least the other 3 would be dead. Hopefully it wouldn't come to that. If everything went well they would have a bit of gold and experience to come away from this with. "So when do we head out?" Kyle quietly asked as e pet his dog after it finished it's steak.

Ingrid studied the papers, trying to imagine how the bandits would fight against them. It was true that their only chance was if they fought them one by one, but was if they where together. they would have to figure a pretty elaborate plan to defeat them.- And what is the plan? I mean, if we get them one by one we can just gang up on them but if they aren't how are we going to beat them?.
