Irenes smiles to that, dismounting as well, bouncing on her heels slightly as she touches the ground then stretching out. "It might end up hurting your ears to go to a busier city then. There's always so much going on that there is no peace and quiet." She explains, patting along her horse's mane and smoothing her skirt out. "I hear random things while out.. things like birds and the like. I agree that complete silence is pretty eerie."
She thinks about his idea, trying to recall what she knew. "Well.. wolves can jump pretty high as well, yes?" She asks, going along with it. "Would you be a lone wolf or would you run with a pack, though?" She asks, trying to make conversation while looking for a place to put her horse. She was so used to cities having stables and all that. She kept looking around, feeling a bit too sheepish to ask Flynn to tell her just yet.
She gave him a smile and a knowing nod after convincing him to bathe. She was about to suggest something other than food until her stomach rumbled, demanding nourishment. "Ah... yes, food sounds like an amazing idea." She says, lightly blushing as a hand moves to touch along her stomach. "Do we just meet back here?" She asks Flynn, still looking around for a place for the horses. She does finally cave though, pushing aside her embarrassment for practicality sake. "Where do we put our horses while we're here?"

Flynn scratched his chin as he thought for a moment. "That is true," he said with a small nod. "But i can not know for sure until I've been to a busy city myself." The young man pulled another carrot from his horse's saddlebags and fed the horse again. He gratefully whinnied as Flynn patted the animal's nose. "I'm quite used to those noises. They do little to make a difference in the silence."
"Wolves are pretty powerful creatures," the swordsman replied. "They can jump well enough. They can do a lot of things, as well as be extremely beautiful creatures." Flynn struck a silly pose, pretending to show off his body. He smiled after finishing. He paused for another moment for as the troubadour spoke again. "Hmm," he replied. "I guess I would say... I would run with a pack. Like I said earlier, I dislike no noise when I'm traveling. Having people around is nicer, for conversation and for backup in battle."
Flynn watched the troubadour curiously as she looked around. What for, he didn't know, but before he could ask, Irenes was already smiling and nodding. She was satisfied in his agreeing to bathe. The swordsman smiled when she agreed to go eat some food. "Sure, we can meet back here," he replied. At the woman's next question, Flynn thought for a moment before responding, "I'll let mine graze around here. We can tie yours to that tree." Flynn pointed at a nearby tree. He then looked around for a river. He furrowed his brow, not even a creek in sight. "Where do I take a bath if there's no river?"

Irenes gave a smile and a playful clap as he struck a pose after commenting on the wolf thing. She listened to him and nodded slowly. "I personally prefer being around people for the company. Just the little bit we've been traveling together has already been a much more enjoyable experience than all the travel I've been doing alone." Irenes explains, nodding in agreement with her own words.
She did breathe out a sign of relief at he answered her question so plainly. She had already gotten used to the slightly condescending look that people had given her before for her apparent ignorance as to how things worked around here. She moves over to the tree and ties the horse to it before turning back to him. "Well... most places without a nearby ready water source have baths, yes? Water brought in from a relatively nearby river or such and placed in a large container?" She suggests. It hadn't even occurred to her that she might be bathing out in the open. How was she to keep any sense of modesty without being in a room with screens around and the like?
"Though I haven't seen a village here in Sacae that wasn't built rather close to a water source. Do you want to maybe look for one before we commit to checking the village?" Irenes suggests. He was likely in the opposite boat of her and would feel uncomfortable outside of running water. It seemed to her as though that wouldn't be nearly as hard for a male to accomplish given they don't need to cover the entire upper half of their bodies as well while bathing.

Flynn finished his pose and looked back at Irenes. He listened to her talk, smiling as she finished. "Glad to be of service, Miss Irenes," he said. He looked out to the plains for a moment before returning his gaze to the young woman. "How far do you need to go? I can go with you if you need some company and someone to keep the bandits off of you."
The swordsman shrugged and scratched his head. He rarely took baths in collected water. The last time was most likely when he was a young child and could not swim. "That is true. I'll go hunt around a bit and try to find a river. If need be, I'll take a bath in town. There is no point in skipping over something that could provide us with a good deal of benefits and help. It won't kill me to take a bath under a roof." He shuddered for effect, grinning as he did, "It gives me the chills just thinking of it, though."
The young man turned and whistled loudly. His horse galloped up, answering his master's call and nuzzled the Sacaen affectionately. Flynn patted his horse's nose and turned back to Irenes. "You can go on into town," he said. "Get yourself cleaned up and, if you want, find lodgings for us. I'll look around for a river, clean my sword and wash up while I'm there. We'll meet back here and then go find something to eat. Is that okay?"

Irenes pushes her fingers together slightly. "Well... I'm just wandering really. I was actually going to ask you if you didn't mind me tagging along." She tries to explain. "And you know the place much better than I could hope, which would be safer. Also that bandit thing you mentioned."
Irenes shivered a little at the thought of washing in a river. It would be cold, she knew that for sure. However, she put on a smile anyways. "I only bathed in a river once and I was worried people would see me the entire time. But that goes back to different cultural background again, doesn't it?" She suggests. Of course, Sacaens likely had long ago thought of ways for women to keep their modesty.
She let out a low sign of relief when he had meant that she do her thing and he do his. That would make things far less awkward by far. "That sounds like a great idea. Do you want your own room, though?" She questions with a light blush on her cheeks. She realized that it sounded like she wanted him to sleep with her, but she more meant that she could occupy a floor or comfy couch just as well as a bed. She even lets out a little eep of embarrassment. "I meant uh... are you okay sleeping in the same room as me?" She stammers out. That sounded worse! It didn't seem like there was much she could do to improve what she was trying to say and she hoped he understood her meaning.

Flynn smiled brightly, nodding enthusiastically before replying. "I would be glad to have you along! I could really use a companion to talk to, especially one who can keep me alive if anything goes south. It'd be a great weight off my shoulders knowing my innards are less likely to fall out of me." He laughed a little at his joke before realizing that Irenes might take that seriously. "Of course," he continued, "no dumb bandit will ever catch me. No man is can hit Flynn, the Rabbit of Sacae!"
The swordsman laughed at his use of his self-imposed title. He returned his attention to Irenes, nodding in an understanding way. "Aye, that it is," he said. "In my tribe, we were very meticulous about how we bathed. Girls always went first to the river, with a few of the older women standing watch. They were really to scare off any possible peepers. May the gods have mercy on the souls who tried to watch the girls bathing. Those women are not to be tangled with. And woe be to the watchers who ever encountered the husband, father, or boyfriend of any of those girls." The women of his tribe were held in high respect and were to be treated as such. Only the girl herself could give consent on being seen uncovered by a male.
The swordsman smirked. He understood what she meant, but he decided to have a little fun with it. "Well, Misd Irenes," he said, "I don't usually do this sort of thing on the first time out. But maybe I'll make an exception, if you buy me a decent dinner first." He finished with a wink and another smirk. He laughed a little bit before continuing, "It is whatever you would prefer."

Irenes seemed happy that Flynn seemed so into traveling with her. That meant she was a lot less likely to get robbed or killed or... worse things bandits could think of doing that was gender-specific. She did have a bit of a frown on her face as he mentioned getting his guts spilled but would quickly crack up when he made a play off the joking title they had bestowed upon him. "In that case, I'll be here to heal up your scrapes when you fall down and the like." She teased.
She was relieved when he started to explain how Sacaens, or at least his tribe, handled matters such as that. Other civilizations could really learn from the respect the nomads seemed to show each other, no matter what their societal standing was. It actually got her thinking about how... better Sacaens seemed to have their entire lives over how she was in Etruria. She had previously spoken to others about the orphan issue and had been given the pleasant answer that the child would be taken in by another family to be raised as their own.
However, she snapped out of her thought when he teased her. Her cheeks flushed red in embarrassment when he spoke, thinking he was being literal. She was stammering and about to respond until he started laughing. Oh, a joke! She let out a nervous little giggle to that and nodded. "W-well.. as long as we aren't meaning the uh.. intimate way." She says before quickly trying to draw back her words. She didn't want him thinking she thought him unattractive. "Since we hardly know each other, like you said."

Flynn faked being offended at Irenes' teasing. "Why, the very notion that I would fall down is an impossibility," he said while turning his head up dramatically. "I am highly offended, good miss. Imagine," he stated, waving his hand in the air as he started his hypothetical tale. "Flynn rides towards an enemy stronghold. The Rabbit of Sacae prepares himself to jump over their feeble walls. He positions himself and jumps high into the air! Only to have his foot catch on the wall, causing him to trip and tumble down, leaving his enemies to laugh at him."
Flynn finished the hypothetical by clenching his fist dramatically and closing his eyes. He waited a few moments before opening one eye and smiling. "I think I'd need you to heal my pride more than my scrapes," he said before returning to a normal stance. The young man nodded reassuringly, "Of course not. I can work with whatever you want, but you get the most comfort available from each option."
The swordsman mounted his horse and looked back to Irenes. "You can go on into town and find a room for the night and get yourself cleaned up. I'll go get cleaned up, too, so I'm ready for our dinner date." Flynn winked and smiled again before spurring his horse. The horse galloped off. Flynn kept an eye out for a river. Just as Irenes had said, there was one not very far off from the town. He guided his horse over to the river, dismounting upon reaching the the bank. He drew his sword, wincing at the noise produced by the blood covered sword against the scabbard. The Sacaen retrieved a rag from his horse's saddle bags and sat down by the bank. He cleaned the blade until it shined brightly in the evening sun. He smiled and put the sword away before undressing and sitting down in the water up to his chest. Flynn cleaned himself off, letting the sweat and grime wash down stream.

Irenes couldn't help but giggle softly at his satirical telling of the story. The dramatic acting got her even more, making the purple haired girl giggle a little harder. It really helped break up the awkwardness she was feeling to have some lighthearted fun. "You have quite the gift for dramatization." She teases lightly before giving a little wave as he departed.
Once he was out of sight, she turned back to face the town and took a deep breath. Hopefully, these Sacaens were as friendly as Flynn. Irenes wanders into town, peering around curiously. It was less of a town and more of a small village. The people there seemed to mostly ignore her as she was just a smaller girl and not some axe wielding maniac intent on stealing all their things and some lives. She does eventually find an inn of sorts, though it more likely would qualify under 'public sleeping area' as apparently all Sacaens didn't have houses of their own. Which was to be expected when one considered the nature of... well, nature.
After a few words and a promise to check over those who were sick or needed aid, she arranged for a room for herself and Flynn for the night. Irenes took the key and headed up to the room, finding it small but cozy. The bed was smaller than she expected and she might end up needing to sleep on the floor anyways. She drops off her bag before stretching out rather big and undoing her cloak then flopped into a nearby chair. While she was tempted to just nap then and there, she sprung back up and headed to inquire about a bath.

Flynn sat and enjoyed the cool, gently moving water as it parted around him. It was a comforting feeling, but he figured he should head back now that he had finished bathing. He raised his fingers to his lips and gave a loud, piercing whistle for his horse. After a few moments, the sound of trotting hooves could be heard close by and his horse was soon by the river bank. The swordsman stood up out of the water and waded over to his steed. Flynn retrieved his piece of cloth that he dried off with from one of the saddlebags. He wiped the water off of himself and put his clothing back on. He finished with sliding his sword strap back over his shoulder. He smiled slightly to himself and patted his horse's side. He sniffed the air a bit and found a detestable smell in it. He sniffed a bit more and traced it back to his horse.
"You're going to need a bath yourself soon, buddy," the Sacaen said as he petted his horse's neck. "You're getting quite stinky. We can't have you giving us a way with that stench."
The horse whinnied as Flynn patted the animal once more before mounting. He lashed the reins and the horse broke into a quick trot. The two cantered back into town and Flynn dismounted his friend. It was getting late, so Flynn guided the horse to a hitching post and tied him to it.
"I'll come visit you later. Behave yourself," the Sacaen told the horse. The animal snorted as Flynn walked away. Along the way, he asked where the inn was. He received some directions to it and found his way over to the large building. Flynn entered the building and walked up to the counter.
"Excuse me," Flynn said to the young woman behind it. "Have you seen a young, purple haired woman enter in here?"
The woman nodded and directed him to the room Irenes had rented for the night. He nodded and thanked her before walking towards the room.

Irenes had located a bath after offering to pay a little more. After all, what she was asking for was abnormal to the people here so they needed some extra convincing. At this moment, she was behind the inn, in a walled in area usually reserved for laundry. It was very open aired but the walls were high enough that she didn't have to worry about anybody seeing her. Unless if we're talking about a certain wall jumper, that is.
She sighs and relaxes into the bath, enjoying getting all the muck off of her. She finished up after a short bit, drying herself off quickly before changing into her second set of clothes. No point in putting the same clothes back on, yes? Plus, her dress was far more relaxing to be in, more justified since she wasn't riding around right now. After gathering up her clothes, she padded back up to the room she had rented out. A quick glance around and she started to fold up her clothes into her cloak and set it aside.
Would it be rude of her to eat without him? She was worried about offending him somehow and ended up just sitting in the chair and fidgeting some. It then occurred to her that she didn't want to seem like she was just waiting for him. That would be awkward for the both of them! It left her torn about what she should do and Flynn would see her having a slight panic attack when he entered the room.
