Anybody play any of the tales of games? Also they're making a seqal of ToS, last thing i would imgen since ToS is the prequal of ToP.
I'm currently on my third time on Tales of the world but I'm not sure what class to do, maybe magical knight(like kratos)? I'm also playing Tales of Legendia.

I hate you. Complain all you want about your damn work and all that, but there's no chance in HELL for me to play any game that's not on an old console. Besides some PS2 games that one of my friends MAY buy(not any RPGs, though).
Yes, I've played Phantasia, Tales of Phantasia - Narikiri Dungeon, Tales of Destiny, Tales of Eternia, Tales of the World - Narikiri Dungeon 2 and Tales of the World Narikiri Dungeon 3. I also tried to play Summoner's Lineage, but it was too damn confusing/boring(I can't remember which. Most likely the latter).
I could try Tempest and Innocence, but I want to see if they even PLAN to release one of them elsewhere first.

There are no plans so far to release either DS game worldwide, I'm afraid.
A shame. The GBA games weren't released elsewhere either(save for Phantasia, FINALLY), and they are in fact far better than Phantasia.

They would be crazy not to release the sqeal of ToS statewide. Looks like its DS or Wii, ToS was the popular one here. I'll post a link when i'm on a computer.

I've know of this sequel probably far longer than you. But whatever. The thing is, Phantasia is a classic in Japan, but Symphonia was probably the most popular, both in the states AND in Japan(Kratos won the last "Namco popularity contest").
Still, I doubt ToS' story outdoes Phantasia's. And either way, Eternia wins.

How can anything beat time travel?

Maybe different dimensions AND time travel(like Chrono Cross).

Chrono Cross had ONE instance of Time Travel, and it was optional.

Chrono Cross had ONE instance of Time Travel, and it was optional. One instance is enough to say that there IS time traveling in it. Sure, it's not like in Trigger, but dimension-crossing took over that.

I've played several of the Tales games myself, but I've only beaten ToD2... oddly enough...
I think my favorite was Tales of the Abyss...
and I'd say that one instance is enough to add time traveling into a descriptor. Still, it wasn't as often as Trigger (the superior game, if you ask me).

ToD 2? The japanese-only sequel to Tales of Destiny, or the stupidly renamed Tales of Eternia(stupid translators called it "Destiny II" in the US to make it "more popular")?
