I like how the characters have a little opening pose when they enter battle. (micaya moves her book around and Eddie does a flip)

Man this game has some useless characters. Cicilia...omg. Zealot...holy crap. Marcus, well alteast I'm used to him. That's just the tip of iceberg, mate, Fe6 has a crapload of prepromotes that serve no perpose whatsoever.

Seth from FE 8 was actually good. And his A support Eirika ending was cute! ^_^

Yeah I actually ended up using Seth once. He didn't stand up to Franz and Forde but he could hold his own, if not for his dreadful HP. Right now I'm on Chapter 13: Rescue Mission. I hate that mission...the first Cavalier that charges you killed Dieck twice due to his Killer Lance. The next time Bors stopped him easily, receiving only 1 damage when he was attacked. Of course after that I was a bit too careless with Miledy and charged a bit too far. Ballista shot = dead Miledy.

You should over if lose people. 'specially people like Dieck.

Of course. Dieck is amazing. And I'm sure Miledy will become so too.
I wish I knew that two groups of Cavaliers, a Paladin with a Silver Lance, and a Trobadour came as reinforcements. I dealt with the first attack with not too many problems (I was scared when the Cavalier with the Killer Lance attacked Roy). The second group surprised me. I dealt with the best as I could, but the overwhelmed Lugh and he died. I have to start over again...

Well I did beat it. BTW Zephiel is that crap. His battle theme is awesome. But the next level sucks. Desert AND Sandstorm.

ALWAYS use Lilina she is fantastic she can destroy a dragon with a fire tome! Hugh has really good HP and Lugh is pretty allrounded with the mages but Lilina is fricken invincible and she supports with Roy so quickly, it will take you maybe two or three chapters to get them to an A support, she owns with that and plus Gonzales for a B support. She's awsome.
As for Paladins Lance and Alan are always your best bets allthough because I like to use Fir for my swordmaster I usually get her to have an A with Noah who always turns out ok. Percival is a solid unit and a good prepromote not as good as any of the cavaliers upon promotion but he's pretty good. Marcus in this game is worse than in the last one and Zealot is even worse than him, stay away from them.
With Generals I never use them at all really because I hate them but depending on whether you use Oujay or Dieck as your mercenary you should use Wendy or Bors, Wendy if you are using Oujay because they have a good support and Bors if you are using Dieck, they don't support but probably the best thing about Wendy is her support with Oujay and used together they help eachother level up. Barth is horrible avoid him at all costs (IMO) and I wouldn't reccomend Douglas but he's better than Barth at least (allthough Barth has the triangle attack and Douglas doesn't).
The Wyvern Knights Miledy and Zeiss are fantastic, always use at least Miledy or use both and get them to support but the pegasus knights Thany and Tate shouldn't be ignored straight away, they start out fragile but they do turn out to be pretty good, I try and always keep one in my team, however the FalcoKnight Yuno is terrible, you should probably go Sacae route and get Dayan instead who is like so much better.

I like Barth personally, he really is a wall. But I had to RNG abuse him.

I decided to use Barth. At level 10, I could tell Bors was going to be a lost cause already. His stats were just not working well with me. My Barth is doing decent though. He defintely got more skill and speed then what I've been warned of.

Barth really is a waste, he's the weakest of the ostian knights, unless you have a screwed over Bors (he's sorta like Erk either really good or really crap). But I'm a knight hater so .

Though I'm not exactly a knight-hater, but I prefer other units.. If I'd have to waste one of the few Knight's Crest on someone, I would definately use it on a Cavalier>Paladin. But I needed a "real" knight. Wendy is well balanced, though in a decent way, but nothing like what a knight should be.
