"Ahh." Ralph had to get back from the front lines. He had already been wounded twice, and he only had one vulnerary left.

It was Vaida.
'You!' I gasped. Vaida turned around and after wondering a second she smiled. 'So that's where you have been all this time. Never thought you'd actually fight your own country.' my former commander jested. 'Much has changed these last few months.' I answered trying to buy time. 'Don't give me that crap! Who are you loyal to? Why do you fight? What is a country? A soldier? Have you lost sight of these things? That's why you deserted. But here you are back on the battlefield. Once you've inherited the soul of a warrior, you can never leave the battlefield. You think what you're doing is just? Pah!'

'Just? The meaning of justice can change from one day to the next. A professional soldier never brings justice into the mission. The only ones who need a reason to fight are the ones who fight for a living. That's what you always taught us. Politics are fickle. They change with the times. So long as we remain loyal to our countries, soldiers like us need nothing to believe in. That's how we we're trained. If the world ever found out what you and I alone have done in our time...' I didn't need to go on.
'Us? Don't tell me Heath is here too.' 'He's dead, the thugs you're working for killed him.' 'Hahaha, is that why you are doing this? Heath was a soldier, he knew what he was doing. You've grown soft, Alan. But enough of this, you wouldn't lay a hand on a comrade, stand down!' she said in a commanding voice.
I raised my lance.

'Don't tell me you're doing it for the Ostian soldiers and the Sacean savages here. Pathetic fool. Go back to Bern, Alan. You have no reason left to fight. Go back.
'I'm doing this out of loyalty to myself. I'm not going to live my life the way the others did!'
(Vaida laughs)
'Have it your way. Now you're a real traitor!'
Not waiting for the wyverns that broke out of the stable and headed for our position we started fighting.

Lumino noticed , off to his right, two Wyverns clashing. Wait..two wyverns? Everyone knew Wyvern Knights were the trademark of Bern, was there a defector? But which one? Lumino was wondering how could he tell, but then he knew. The sight of who was fighting told him. General Vaida, the mightiest Wyvern Rider in all of Bern. He doubted that she would defect, ever. But to fight her, the other Wyvern Rider had to be crazy. She would decimate him in a mere moments. Lumino himself couldn't even help, these mystic creatures were naturally resistant to magic. But they did have one weakness...
He spotted the sniper he saw before, he couldn't recall his name (Matthias), but he remembered he was against Bern.
"Hey! Bowman! Up there!" Lumino shouted, hoping he would notice the fight going on. Vaida was here, they needed to get rid of her NOW.

Matthias barely heard the young mage over the din of battle. He finally noticed the youngster, pointing into the air. Following the finger, he saw his companion Alan doing battle with a vicious wyvern knight. Once again, he got out his longbow. He knew Alan would be mad if he did too much damage... but distracting Vaida, that would do. Muttering, he drew his bow back, and let loose a shaft...

Noting the deaths around her, Alexia devoted herself to being a moving shield. She'd charge between the mages and fierce warriors, taking hefty blows. Then, she'd charge over to get between the archers and others. One particular mage seemed out of place, and rather young. Moving quickly, she charged beside him (Lumino). "I'll take care of anything that gets close," she told the mage, cutting down a fighter as he charged by. It took two swings, but the warrior fell. As she fought, she noticed that Sokka had come up beside her as well. She continued talking to the mage. "If you can handle the armored ones, and the ones further away. Sokka, I know you can take care of the quicker target... Together, we can fight our way to the shamens, and then try to push them back." She used her sword to point to where Zeiss, Brad, and Ryan fought. "We need to stay together..." she was cut off by a lance thrust to her side. Growling, she pulled the lancer close, and cleft his helmet with her sword. She yanked the lance out. "Let's go!" she said, and began slowly moving, hoping the young mage followed.
OoC: Lumino, you have my permission to move Alexia in your post.

Chaos made the perfect opportunity to sneak out. Mounted, Lyndsey headed in the opposite direction of the Bern forces. She made it a short ways out, before she saw something... A gathering of bandits. Cursing her luck, she flew close enough to pay attention. Ruinz bandits... the most vicious sort... and... she bit back a cry of pain as a lance entered her leg, pinning it to the pegasus. Blood splashed on the pegasus's white flank. Glaring, Lyndsey saw the wyvern rider, a member of Bern's forces. Apparently, the bandits were working with Bern... wonderful... She whirled around, and headed for the castle, hoping the information was worth something. Arrows, axes, and javelins flew around her, as she charged.

Lumino stared up at the young cavalier who had so sudennly formed a plan of attack. Who was she, where was she from, why was she helping him? If he survived, he could answer these questions then, now he had to move, and every nerve in his body was screaming that. Without a second though he advanced with them, holding his tome tightly in his hands. He felt the raw power coursing from it, begging to be used, but he was able to restrain it. He had though he was a fairly good practitioner of magic, but he couldn't seem to control the magical energies right now, he couldn't maintain his focus and concentration. If he wasn't careful the arcane energy might go wild, he needed to calm his nerves. Focus on the magic, simply on the magic...
"Look out!" Came the shout from the cavalier next to him. Lumino snapped back into reality in time to see an archer with his bow leveled at him, and the arrow flew. The arrow caught his cloak, knocking him to the ground, but thankfully he was uninjured. Without getting up, he felt the power surging withen him again. The book began to resonate and withen momets, he had the very familiar feeling of flames in his hands. The fire struck the archer, lighting his bow, and a bit of his clothing on fire. The archer fell to the ground trying to extinguish the fire, but he was out of the fight now. Standing up he was greeted with a far less welcome sight. The Cavalier that had warned him, now had gained the attention of a large Knight. This time, he was able to maintain his focus, and again he let loose the flame. Unfortunatly, this time he missed his target, and the knight seemed rather irritated. With a grunt he hurled a rather large javelin, which struck Lumino's left leg. He fell down on the ground, as the blood poured from the wound. The battlefield got very quiet, as the shouts and orders seemed to dim in volume, though he could still see the battle raging on. The stenches, even of that soilder's charred flesh, seemed dulled as well. All he could register was the seering pain, and the terror that entered his mind with it. He couldn't move his arms, they weren't responding right. He couldn't get to his Vulnerary's. As he fell to the blood soaked ground, a thought struck him.
This is it, I am going to die here.
OOC: My Internet is SUPER retarded right now, and was able to change my signature JUST enough to delete it. Yes I change it every post @_@. Anyway, if you need to know Lumino has 2/17 HP and 2 Vulnerary's left.

Kenshin was healed by somebody on a horse. "Thanks, but don't try to get too far from any type of protection to help somebody. You're just important as they are."
Kenshin quickly took out the second Cavalier with the sword. Kenshin then quickly notice that a mage(Lumio) got attacked by a knight and rushed to his aid.
Sliceing into the back of his armor to distract him. "Why don't you fight somebody who can fight back better."

Sokka stood by Alexia as they moved through the ranks of shamans. Their magic was powerful, yes, but he was too fast for them. He ran though all the ones he could reach. He had no empathy for the ones who took his one love away from him.

Dray'Gon was being outnumbered by the air forces of Bern, and being one of the few actual flying forces defending Ostia, things did not look well. After a series of additional attacks, and having to use another Vulnerary, Dray'Gon's stone was dreadfully close to being expended.
This isn't looking good. I need to recharge my stone but we're still in the middle of a war. I can't turn my back on them, but if I don't get back to Arcadia soon... Dray'Gon focused on trying to avoid attacks now. He had to try and bring their air forces near the archers. It was the only thing he could still do as another attack might cause him to revert back to his humanoid form.
Flying low to the ground, Dray'Gon baited the Wyvern riders into following, trying not to let on what he planned to do. It looked as if it was working, and the riders followed, determined to take him down. After circling the castle a few times and ducking through ramparts and around towers, managing to have a few fly into the building, or get knocked off their mounts, Dray'Gon brought them close to the archers. He hoped they would get the message and take out the rest of the forces tailing him.

Brad looked around and saw one of the Wyvern riders battling a manish looking female Wyvern Lord. "She's a looker" Brad said sarcastically. Brad looked into the skies and saw Dray'Gon being followed by some Wyvern Riders from Bern but he lured them into the archers, he also saw a lone Pegasus Knight, she wasn't attacking our archers so she must have been on our side.
Brad shot a flux at an enemy theif that was trying to steal from a cavalier, but he dodged his spell. "What?" Brad exclaimed, the theif just smiled and came up and slashed him with his sword, it was a graze at best. Brad shot another spell, this one hit him barely. The theif screamed in pain and it was Brad's turn to smile. As the theif died Brad noticed that the scratch was starting to bleed a lot, he wasn't one to complain but he could hardly cast a spell with a bad arm...
