OcC:you can post in here no matter which village you are in just as long as your fighting the bandits.
The attack had begun. Yeo, in the east village, after having his division of knights hide in the houses and shops of the village jumped out after it had became under attack. They took the bandits by suprise and quickly dispatched the first wave. "Quick! Get to the village gates and hold postion there! Swords only! No lances! Archers set up on top these walls and behind the gate! Do not let any bandit have one gasp of air near the gate! The troops moved as commanded. The division had only suffered minimum casualties to the first wave and they were prepared for the second. In Yeo's eyes, no axe would enter this village again.

'Alright, at the count of three we let the door to the inside of the castle open and we rush those filthy traitors!' Alan had gathered the remaining loyal soldiers and mustered a force of thirty men while the enemy had at least fifty in the castle. The door opened and the first big clash commenced.

'We have captured the main corridor! Where from here, sir?' 'Open the gate.' 'But that would let the archers and bandits in!?!' 'Exactly, if the archers see we are putting up a fight then they will come inside the castle, then the other wyvern riders can reach Heath, the objective here is saving the villages, soldier. Don't forget that.' Te Gate was opened and immediately arrows were flying everywhere. 'Retreat, retreat! Don't let them through! The battle had ow taken a turn for the worst, the wyverns where taking passengers away from the castle but Alan and three knights where left at the northern tower to draw the enemy off. 'We blocked the door but that won't last for ever, the archers are in all the other towers, we are stuck. This is a death trap.' 'I wasn't planning on going anywhere anyway, if they capture the castle then everything will be lost, we need to delay them a little longer.'

Calis rode though the first batch of banits just in front of the castle gate killing a few as he passed. He shouted back to Alexia. "Let the knights behind us take care of these. We have to make it inside to see where we stand." He dismounted his horse and ran into the castle. The main hall was swarming with bandits. Calis toke out the nearest bandit to him with a few slashs. He saw a bunch of them hold up at a door trying to smash their way though. He looked back to try to see if Alexia was coming but still didnt see any sign of here. "Damn, I was to eager to try to get back in that I didnt look at for her. He started to move back but then heard a sound coming from that direction. "Alexia! Is that you?"

Alexia heard the yell over the crash of battle.
"Calis! I'm over here!" She yelled, hoping to be heard. Unfortunately, the bandits were right there, and could hear her yelling.
"Here that, boys? She must be one of his wenches or summit," the bandits chortled to one another. Alexia's temper flared up, but she quickly regained her composure. Something like that could cost her the battle. Cooly, she swung her slim sword, nicking the offending bandit. He gasped as red blossumed on his arm, and began clutching the wound.
"You'll pay for that girlie!" another bandit shouted. Alexia felt the axe dig deep into her back. Thankfully, the armor stopped most of it, and the cut ended up being more shallow than the bandit expected. She whirled in her saddle, and delivered a heavy blow with the hilt of her sword. The bandit's nose crumpled, and he fell to the ground.
She's some sorta demon, retreat! We've gotta get some backup!" a particularly ugly one yelled. Alexia smiled and brushed some hair out of her eyes. That went well...

Calis ran into the bandit that was running away and helped him remove his head. He ran to Alexia and saw the axe in her back. "You alright?" He took a look at it and realized the armor stoped most of it. He put his hand on it and gave Alexia a nod. A few seconds later she nodded back. He pulled it out just to see that it only left a cut. "Its not deep, but it is long. Do you think you can continue?"

Alexia reached into her saddlebag and removed a vulnerary. "if you would please put this into the wound, m'lord, I'm sure I'll be fine," she smiled at the lord, holding out the bag.

Calis took the Vul and applied it to Alexia's wound. "You should be fine. Come on, we have to get to that door. There are probably some soldiers in need of help behind there." Calis grabbed Alexia's hand and moved back to the main hall. He posed up against the wall and eyed the door. "Theres about ten bandits." Calis turned back to the way they came, hearing steps heading towards them. A few knights turned the corner. "Good, some reinforcements. Come on, we are going to stop those bandits from getting though that door and into the tower." Calis moved out and ran towards the group of bandits, this time making sure to keep an eye on Alexia.

alexia mounted again (I'm guessing she'd bring Fleetfoot). she drew her sword and charged the bandits, passing up Calis. She hoped that the ferocity of her action would cause the line to break. Fortunately, it actually did, as bandits moved to avoid the charging horse. She managed to give one a shallow cut, as she steered the horse around. In the close quarters, she was at a disadvantage, but she was skilled enough to fight her way out of the situation.

Meanwhile,
Marcus led the forces into the village. The bandits had finished dispatching the town guard, and were busy making off with whatever loot they could get. Marcus shook his head, these sort never learn their lesson. He motioned for the troops to surround the bandits, and waited for them to do so. Once everyone was in place, he motioned for them to charge. The bandits didn't even know what hit them, as a group of cavaliers and one very determined paladin tore through their ranks. soon, only one was left alive. Marcus had him tied up, and began ordering his troops to search more thouroughly. He doubted that small force was it... unless there were a lot more in the castle then he'd figured.

Calis jumped towards a bandit and slashed though him. He moved out of the way of an banit's attack and stuck his lance in him. He then spined around with the body still attached and stoped allowing the body to fly towards some other bandits knocking a few down. At this time the some more knights got to them and started to fight as well. Within minutes they had rid the door of any bandits. Calis approached the door and tried to open it. "They blocked it from the inside." He proceeded to knock on the door just as some more bandits showed up. "Theres no end to them." It was about fourteen bandits against Calis, Alexia, and six knights. "Hold your ground!" Calis told the knights as the bandits began to rush them.

Yeo stared out into the field from the gate watching the next wave of bandits charging towards them. The second wave didnt post much of a threat. The archers were able to take out more than an thrid, but this wave was bigger than the first two combined and had more variety to its troops. Some axe, sword, and lance users. Along with a great amount of archers. "Alright, here we go again." He held his arm up signaling the archers to ready there bows. The bandits were heading towards the gate, not ever worrying about Yeo's archers. He let his arm down as the arrows flew though the air. The bandits exchanged there own arrows back. Yeo moved to some cover as did his troops to avoid them. "Ready!" He commanded the archers. He waited for the bandits to get closer. "Fire!"

Alan recognized Calis' voice from the other side of the door. The knights immediately opened the door and greeted Calis but Alan said. 'No time, the village I was supposed to protect is short handed, I have to go!' He mounted Grimbold and shouted; 'There are traitors in the castle, but they might surrender if they see you Calis.' Then he flied off again, hoping that it was not to late.

Calis shouted back at Alan. "Marcus is there, move quickly and join with him." Calis turned back to face the fast approching bandits. 'Alright, so we got nine knights now. At least it even the odds a little more.' Some more bandits appeared from behind them. This new group had two bandit knights with them along with two of Santaruz's own. "Hmm, so there are some traitors and now we are heavly out numbered." Calis, Alexia, and the knights waited in the middle as both sides charged at them. Calis rushed one side and slid while slicing though a few. A few knights charged with them. They had already killed several bandits when the other side joined in the fight. "You two knights of Santaruz. How dare you betray your homeland. Antony is no leader to fight under. I wouldnt doubt it if these bandits have already killed him." The knights seemed to be listening to him but the bandits pressured them to fight. "What are you doing? We promised you riches. Dont listen to him. He is trying to decive you." "Ya! Your right! Down with Calis!" The two traitorous knights rushed Calis, while the two bandit knights headed for Alexia.

Alan met up with Marcus and the knights who were going toward the last village. 'What's going on?!?' 'We encountered a wyvern knight fleeing backward! The last village has been overrun and is going to be held against us!' Alan feared for his mens life and they charged the village at full speed. Marcus' information was not faulty, the village gates where shut and we heard nothing from the other side. The only ones who could access the village was me and I flied over the walls.
The village was deserted, many houses where burned but most where intact and some where even unscathed. 'Hello? Is anyone here?' A merchant ran out of the inn, 'The defenders are inside, I will open the gates.' The man ran off and I flied to the inn. Inside a knight and three wyvern riders where tending to their own wounds and to a man who was lying on the table and was badly injured. 'Commander, the villagers have left. We have burned the bodies of the bandits and buried the fallen knights.' 'Who is lying on the table?' 'Heath, he was here before the bandits came and defended the village by himself, he has lost a lot of blood, maybe to much.' Marcus entered the room. The situation was explained to him and he said: 'Alan head back to the castle with your boys, I will lead the cavalry and clear the nearby field and come after you when we are done, Balin (the last Armor Knight) stay here and do what you can for Heath. Alright men, move out!'
