Rayl's betrayal hit Myra hard. Humans could not be trusted... well, most of them. Alcible and Delroy had provided good cover.
She mustered all her energy, unfurled her wings, and shot off like a rocket. Adrenaline (DRAGON adrenaline, no less) fueld her every wingbeat. Adrenaline, rage, and sorrow. Faster and faster she sped, in search of another group of fighters able to protect her.

Alcibie had reached the edge of the forest as Myra transformed shooting out her wings. The Manakete took off with a gust of wind causing Alcibie to drop Myra and lose her balance ricocheting off a tree. Shielding her face with her arms as twigs and leaves where pushed from the ground as the girl pulled by dragon wings flew off Alcibie cursed.
“Sorry Julian looks like we are a little late.” Alcibie said lowering her hands from her head. She could see the river that was basically the dividing point between Bern and Sacae. The question now became what to do? She had Jya and Julian with her and the others were all back at the camp with the Malte bearer. Alcibie sighed rubbing her head with her hand.
“Should continue our chase?” Alcibie asked the other two. Personally she did not mind what happened. Though, she was currently very angry at Rayl. Continuing on though would leave them without a front line man. This was so aggravating!

Seeing Myra transform and fly off he sighed. 'Why the hell do things have to get so complicated?' he thought. Turning, to Alcibie, he said, "Unless you can come up with a way to keep up with a flying dragon, we have very few options." Folding his arms and looking up at the sky, he continued.
"As I see it, we can either head after Myra, hoping that she doesn't deviate from her flight path so that we are able to follow her, or we head back to the others. Without Myra around, that man with Malte has no business with any of us." Even though he kind of wanted to follow, merely out of the fact that he was fascinated by dragons, things had been crazy recently, and he didn't want to think about it too much at the moment. He sighed again.
"I would recommend that we head back to the group, safety in numbers and all that. But I'll leave the choice up to you."

Jya groaned as she got up from the spot she fell. The predicament was so confusing! First a girl scream, then turns into a dragon and fly away! It felt like she was becoming insane! Her hunger was unbearable as it was and they were sort of far from camp. She took hold of her cloak and teared off part of it, before chewing and swallowing. It settled her stomach a little, but it didn't stop an empty feeling in her chest.
"I want to help Myra, I mean its the right thing to do right?" Jya said taking another bite out of her cloak before letting it drop to the ground.

Alcibie pushed off the tree. As the votes stood one for, one against thus, Alcibie was the deciding factor. The cleric took a deep breath and thought for a few seconds. There were two really options go forward or turn back. Turning back held a lot of promise and comrades, but Myra was alone. So, she decided.
“Unless you are against it, I would like to go after Myra. Maybe some of the others will catch up with us, but I defiantly do not want Myra to be alone.” Alcibie smiled pulling her bag over. “How about in the next town we come to you steal us some food?” Alcibie said handing Jya some dried meat. “I really should not be the one pick pocketing the food every where we go.” Alcibie smirked and started walking forward following the path the girl had taken across the sky.
“I mean she has to land eventually right?”

Seeing as he was outvoted, Julian just sighed and followed the other two. He did leave the choice up to Alcibie after all. In response to Alcibie, he said, "Well, eventually, I would assume. But you do have to remember that she is a dragon and can fly, not only meaning that she can travel faster than us, but that she can also travel for longer than us." Wondering if maybe if he was being a little too negative, he decided to add something else.
"Hopefully, she'll decided that she has gotten far enough away and we'll be able to pick up her trail. I'm sure we'll be able to catch up eventually."
Then looking at Jya and seeing the blood spattered on her hands and a little bit on her clothes, as well as looking at the wound in his hand, he then asked, "So, miss cleric...would you mind fixing up Jya as well as my hand?"

“I think it would be easier to spot her flying. I’d gamble she would land at the first city she flies to. I do not think there are many red haired children traveling by themselves.” Alcibie stated then Julian was looking to the blood splattered Jya. Then he looked to her expectantly. Alcibie might have turned slightly red when Julian talked about heal him and Jya. She had defiantly been too caught up, but she had asked earlier right?
“I can heal you.” Alcibie said looking to Julian. “Jya…though…” Alcibie looked to her own clothes and the blood her outer cloak had picked up from Jya. Alcibie doubted she could do anything for the tiny girl. Alcibie let out a breath she had not even realized she had been holding.
“Here let me see your hand…” The heal staff in her hand lit up the area with an eerie blue glow. The wound stitched it self up and the light died. Alcibie looked to her staff, how much longer would it last anyway?

Jya nibbled on the meat Alcibie was kind enough to give her. The chances of finding that girl was indeed slim, but it was the right thing to do. After settling her stomach a little more she reached over to her pouch near her belt where she kept her lock pick and put the rest of the meat in. There seemed to be something else, as she tugged at it a dead rat came out. Oh she forgot she had some meat on her.
"Umm anyone want the rest of this rat?"

"Thanks," he told the cleric, flexing his newly healed hand. Hearing Jya refer to the...rat in her hand, he thought, 'Jeez, has she been living like this for a while?' He shook his head, and said, "No thank you, Jya." With a small smile on his face, he then turned to Alcibie. "What about you, miss cleric?" He kind of liked being informal with other people. During his tutelage at the academy, he had to be so formal with everyone other than his master.
Shaking his head to clear thoughts of the past, he decided to properly introduce himself. "In case you didn't catch it earlier, my name is Julian." He then executed a small half bow in the others' direction. "If you want to know something about me, just ask away."

Alan had reached the edge of the forest and scowled the sight that stretched out in front him. She's in Sacae. Possibly both of them. That just PERFECT! He rammed his fist into the nearest tree. 'Man, I'm beat. Guess I should backtrack to Grimbold and start getting serious.'

Alcibie turned behind her. Was she going crazy? She had sworn there had been a loud thud just now. No one was in sight though. Alcibie shook it off and turned trying to ignore the rat. There had been plenty of those back at the church especially during the winter months. Rats would be everywhere and well she and animals did not get along.
“Nicely met Sir Julian, my name is Alcibie. As you can probably guess I am a cleric. I have lived in the same church most my life. Though I have read every book I could get my hands on. Those made me a little less righteous.” Alcibie smiled, obviously referring to the stolen foods and other less priestly deeds she had done. Not to mention the fact she had an affinity for money most good doers did not and a big anti-affinity towards animals.
“If I might be so rude in asking, where do you hail from?” Alcibie asked just trying to keep the conversation going since traveling by foot is not the fast route.

Jya stuffed the rat's head in her mouth and started to chew. Apparently the blood dried out and it didn't have that much flesh on it. Another problem was the shedding fur. Oh well it was still fun to chew with. She opened up her ears just in case if anyone was following them or about to be ambushed. There was a thump somewhere, but she concluded it was some animal.

Alan started walking back to his wyvern. After a while he was aware that there were voices up ahead. Not concerned with tthe Dragons' companion and confident that there wasn't anyone in the Bern military that could harm him, he kept his path towards the sound.

Noticing Alcibie looking around and Jya perking up, he decided to be on guard in case something happened. To keep up appearances, he continued the conversation. "Well, I am from Etruria. As you can tell, I'm a mage. And the reason I'm out here traveling, is that I'm seeking knowledge." No need to tell them that he had a borderline obsession regarding the manakete.
The mage wondered if he was being too forthcoming, but then shook his head. Trust had to be earned, and it went both ways. He then thought he heard something rustling in he bushes, and his head whipped toward the perceived sound. It sounded like there was someone or something out there. He whispered under his breath, "Did you two hear that?"

Alcibie honestly almost threw up when Jya stuck the rat’s head in her mouth. She fought it down. There was No way she was going to throw up because of that. She hoped. Now avoiding looking at the girl’s mouth she turned to answer Julian.
“You mages always seem to be searching for more and more knowledge. I am amazed that you all can keep going like that. I hardly believe a single one of you will become all knowing. I believe that impossible.” Alcibie kept up the cheery front. She did take note that it appeared all three of them were now on guard or at least aware. Alcibie could not say Jya was on guard with a…with something in her mouth.
“Yes…” Alcibie answered the other question. Though she could have denied it, but she was defiantly thinking that most likely a person was near. She hoped it was one of the front line men they could use one of them. Of course since they were not running out to greet them she doubted that. The sinking feeling told her it was either an enemy or Rayl. She would punch Rayl if it turn out to be him.
