“I’m fine. Is anyone hurt?” She asked, looking around to the group now surrounding her. The few comrades and companions still alive after defending this point seemed relieved to have more men with them. Alcibie hated to admit it, but even more bodies would not help for long while they were in the middle of a battle.
“Matthias said to head that way!” Alcibie pointed towards where Night was currently making extravagant motions with his arms. “If you get injured I can heal you, but you have to tell me!” Alcibie commanded making sure the collective group got the message. What would Father Reeves say if he found out I was fighting in a war? He would probably let me come back extra baggage and all.
“Oh and the name’s Alcibie!”

(Since no one was posting.)
Jya’s head shot up to get a better look at Alcibie. Somehow she knew where her goddess was, it seemed like a second sense for her. She owed that woman her life, to her; she was the person that should be worshiped. When her mind calmed at the fact Alcibie was alright, she went back to stealth mode, only to be picked up by the same bandit that caught her from before. Her body seemed to dangly aimlessly, while being held by a firm hand over her hood.
“Thisa dangerous place for little girls,” he said, this time clearly more annoyed then amused. Swallowing a big lump caught in her throat, she unsheathed her dagger, stabbing the man in the wrist. The bandit roared in agony, as he let go of her, she dropped onto the rocky floor with a thud. Using his freehand, he whipped out an axe, swinging the metallic axe, aimed for her body. Thanks to her training, she managed to avoid being chopped in half, but it still dealt a clear cut over her waist.
She fell over, her side clearly sliced. Blood started to ooze out of her wound as well as her mouth. The reddish disgusting salt flavored liquid trickled into small little drops upon the ground, slowly seeping into the hard ruined stone. This made her want to spurt out even more, but she contained herself, making a dash towards the others. It was her only chance to survive this. From the cut, she only managed to fall over in front of Alcibie. Every second felt like she was slowly being attacked my blades over her stomach.

“JYA!” Alcibie shouted kneeling down to the young thief’s side. “Jya! Hey Jya!” Alcibie grabbed the thief up in her lap. Her gloved hands worked through the young girl’s hair, matting the black mess down. She held the staff firmly in her hands.
“Come on Jya…” Alcibie whispered. The staff activated filling the area with a heavenly glow. Alcibie hoped the thief would be alright, and maybe that a few soldiers were scared off at the magic.

OoC: holy cow did I get behind! sorry guys ><
Matthias continued firing arrows, more or less blindly now. It was a mechanical process: see a bandit, shoot him, see another, shoot him too. Just keep moving down the line.
Matthias did step up as he saw Jya struggling, trying to provide cover. This meant shouldering his bow and trying his hand at sword work. His strikes were clumsy, at best, but the bandits were even worse off then him. Particularly since his sword work was doing well against all the axes.
"Gah!" spat Matthias. An arrow connected with his shoulder, and he narrowed his eyes. "We've got to find a f**kin' leader or something. This s**t has got to stop."
He again looked for Kenshin, hoping to meet up with the Sacean so they could forge ahead.
"Try an' keep going forward!' yelled Matthias. "Mercenary guy, get your a** up here an' help me fight them off. Gah, this f**kin' blows!"
He stabbed another man, grunting.

Night turned and grinned. "My pleasure!" he shouted back. "Allright, you punks!" he shouted. "You wanna play rough? Ok! Say hello to my little friend!" With a battle cry, he then charged in Matthias's general direction, sword drawn.
This wasn't too hard. Swing here, swing there, kick this guy in the groin, knee that guy in the stomache. It was just another day, right? Exactly. Wich is why he found it relatively easy to shout "DIE, B*TCH!" Before slamming the edge of his blade down into a bandits skull, before yanking it out, spinning, and decapitating the one beside him. "Oh yeah, I'm hot tonight!"

Jya felt the warmth of the staff rejuvenating her weakened body. Her wound sealed, but she coughed up some blood. Inside, she knew she was a burden to everyone, but perhaps killing the man that did such a thing to her, would make the mental wound disappear. Taking hold of her small slim sword once again, she rushed to the direction of which, she thinks the enemy was. Her target was indeed, trying to stop his wound, when she faced him once again. There was no time to exchange words; her reaction was simply of reflex taught by her teacher.
The axe came swinging down, obviously trying to cut her in two. Slightly moving to the left, it missed her by a few inches. The metallic weapon rang a dull complaint for not contacting flesh, but it can’t be helped that she wanted to live. Taking the chance of him being stunned, she lunged, cutting a decent sized gash in the knee. Falling down onto his right, he cursed, but Jya’s adrenaline rush was beginning to pick up. Now within reachable distance, she jumped onto his back, getting ready for the slit throat kill, but she suddenly felt her body being thrown back the direction she came, landing a few feet in front of him.

Alcibie stood back up as Jya leapt to her feet. The cleric would be lying if she said she was not relieved that the thief stood back up. Honestly she just wanted to hold the girl close and protect her, but here that was impossible. Then she was sucked back to the current situation once again.
Another was injured. Switching back into healer mode she ducked behind one of the random soldiers. Moving over to the Yeoman, the cleric pressed her arm against his side yanking the arrow out of his shoulder. She pressured the wound with one hand as the other held tight to the staff. The eerie blue glow was admitted again.
Removing her hand she stepped back into the support line, not before getting sprayed by an onslaught blood. Smearing the blood across her cheek, she thought for a second about how horribly ironic it was that she had just washed her robes.

One of the biggest targets in a battle like this was always the healer. A group of men with lances started to head towards them as Kenshin took a look to check on them. He started a run towards them when they noticed Kenshin as well, they stuck their lances out hoping he was stupid enough to impale himself onto them. He was traveling too fast in this chaos to avoid running into somebody that would be kind to him or them lances, so instead he done a baseball slide between two of the men cutting at the back of their legs.
Almost bouncing to his feet he turned around slashing all them in the back with one swing. "Matthias provide me with cover from behind and I'll cleave a path for us to get to their base." he said as he prepared to create a path for them.

One eye on Night, one eye on Alcibie, and one eye on the little rat-thief.
Matthias needed an extra eye.
Grumbling, the yeoman more or less ignored Night, figuring the mercenary would either figure things out pretty quickly or die trying. Instead, he worked at covering Jya and Alcibie. He stepped in to cover Jya, locking weapons with her opponent.
"F**kin' stab his a** before he kills us both," growled Matthias, looking down at the sprawled thief. His muscles strained to keep the axe away from killing both of them, and he wished he knew enough about swordsmanship to actually fight properly.
At least his wounds were being healed as he fought. which meant less bleeding and dying and more hurting. Then Matthias noticed the newest arrival. "Kenshin!"
He grunted as he felt more pressure added to the lock. "Be with you in a d**m moment, bit f**kin' busy here. Where the hell are our reinforcements or whatever? Shouldn't we have a f**kin' army or something?"

Jya jumped up after her shock of falling down. She was glad that Matthias was able to hold off the axe from chopping her in half, but for exactly how long? She ran as fast as she could and managed to scramble up the man’s back. It wasn’t really assassin like, besides his body was all oily and slippery. She clasped on tight, before bringing out her knife over the guy’s neck. Slitting the throat, she tried to go as deep as her energy allowed; her whole body complained that it would die anytime from being so overworked.
The man gurgled for a start, before finally falling over; she jumped off just in time, before she was to be crushed by him.
Breathing heavily, she smiled, “Thanks!” Strangely killing someone didn’t seem to disturb her too much. He was trash after all.

Lance, sword, claws, teeth, feet and tail all being used the wyvern and his rider reaped it's way through bandit ranks searching for worthy foes. Not to Alan's great surprise the answer would come from the sky. A band of rogue wyvern riders employed by the Bandits had swooped down to stop the menace in it's tracks. Knowing that the higher position had the advantage Alan had his wyvern fly straight up, his lance held out in front of him as to force then to open a path. With his left hand Alan swung his Steel Sword in an effort to fend off assault on their side.
But as soon as it seemed they would break through to open sky one of the Wyvern Riders that Alan's steed passed made a valiant assault with his Steel Blade. In a manner reminiscent of both Alan and their common forefather, Hartmut he brought it down nearly slicing the wyvern in two. At it's deepest it went straight through and made a deep cut in Alan's side.
Struck by sudden surge of pain Alan right hand, holding both onto the lance and the wyvern released it's grip and Alan starting falling back down to ground zero, wyvern and enemy not far behind.

“Ma’am, stay back.” A young soldier commanded lightly pushing Alcibie away from any immediate threat. The young man continued, most likely due to the cleric’s confused expression. “We were told to protect you miss.” The lance man said motioning to the other lance wielder and a swordsman. “Now if you’ll let us do our job?” The man turned away from her parrying a sword away with his lance.
Alcibie was not one to let someone talk to her like that. She was taken aback by the fact she actually had three men specifically give to protect her. It made her feel empowered, and as if she had a gigantic target painted on her back. The rest of the soldiers were near by fighting there own battle as these three worked to protect her.
Smearing more blood over her staff, she twitter waited for the familiar sound of agony to erupt from one of their allies. Pulling the staff even closer she was surprised to feel it activate on its own. The cleric watched as the light fled towards one of her protectors healing wounds she could not even see. A monstrous cry rang out calling Alcibie’s attention skyward. Wyverns were swirling and battling in the sky and before she could stop herself she spoke.
“Oh my god...that’s Alan.”

"DIIIEEEE, B*******TCHEEEEEESSSS!" Night howled. D*mn it, he was loud when he fought. As he shouted, he wacked one guy upside the head with the flat side of his sword. Turning around, he backhanded another one. Raising his sword, he then plunged it into the backhanded mans stomache. Smirking, he felt he was having a good day...
At least untill the other pr*ck decided to lodge his axe in Night's shoulder.
With a howl of pain, Night fell to his knees. The axeman wrenched his axe out non too friendly, and just as he was about to go for the kill, Night pushed himself back against the axemans waist, toppling him. Disgarceful, yes, but when your about to be dead, you take what you can get! Turning over, he sucker punched the axeman, grabed his sword, and slid it against the b*st*rds throat. He then stood up, clutching his shoulder.
"Nnng...Son of a b*tch..." He muttered. "Gotta have Alice take a look at that. Turning, he began to make his way towards the cleric, dragging his sword in his wounded arm, his other one clutching the bleeding wound.

At last the bandit was killed, by the scrappy little kid. Matthias smiled, nodding at the girl, while rotating his arm. Holding it up against the axe hadn't exactly been the most pleasant of exercises. But at least the bad guy was dead.
Which meant that Matthias could work on providing cover fire. You know, being the archer he was supposed to be. He shifted to the Killer Bow, and provided a killing shot to a bandit near Night.
"Hurry the f**k up!" he yelled, jerking his head. "We've got to f**kin-- arrgh! Sonuva!"
An axeman had gotten close, taking advantage of Matthias's distraction. An axe bit into Matthias's shoulder, and the yeoman countered by shoving the bandit away. One arrow, and he was dead.
"Cleric! Get your a** over here!" he yelled, backing up. It would get hard to fire if he couldn't get this shoulder wound treated.

As he was about to start his charge something cought his eye. It stopped any plan he had, Up top of the castle he saw two men. Hargus and Hartmut, just watching the chaos.
Kenshin had dodged body falling after body falling to make his was to Matthias and the others. A few were Bern soldiers and the others were bandits, he made sure they bodies were dead for either side. He did one thing wrong, didn't pay attention to his back. Sharp peircing pain in his left shoulder, then two more in his back. A quick glance he saw arrows sticking out. He ducked down as he reached to pull them out as he walked over to the others.
