The girl seemed to be in pain, as she clung tightly to Ralph's shirt. He didn't smell blood, so he didn't know if healing staves or vulneraries would work. "It's not far now." He began to run, the bakery was clearly visible, and everyone could smell the morning breads. Ralph rushed inside kicking the door open. "Bill! We've got an injured girl, can you carry her to my bed and get her something cool to drink? I think it's an illness rather than flesh." The huge Warrior behind the counter nodded and took the girl's body from Ralph's arms. Bill carried her body to a bed upstairs.
"You, Rayl." He said to the guy on the horse. "Do you know of any clerics around here?"

Aleth sighed, what can she do? This was probably her first time in this town, so she had no idea about anyone.
"What can I do?" she asked Ralph facing Ralph than Rayl. "Truthfully I can only fetch things that require one hand," she announced her disability. Really being one armed was annoying and actually quite unfair. She had been more useless than ever. Even her fighting style started to lack.

Rayl closed his eyes to concentrate. He'd had a bad run-in with a cleric in the past, but the progress of time caused the name to escape him, although it was irrelivent at the time, as he came up with the name of a local cleric in this area," Yes there is a cleric nearby. Just hang tight while myself and Aleth go fetch her." He obviously wanted to catch up with his old friend, and the brief travel between this bakery ( oh the memories this freshly baked bread brought back...) and to where the healer lived would provide them with enough time to talk," Come on then Elibe, Aleth, we best get going."

Aleth nodded at Ralph's decision, quickly strapping up her sword one-handed. It wasn't easy even now, but it worked out somehow. She turned to Rayl, perhaps examining how much he has changed since the years that had passed by. His face was the same as always, except for one thing.
"You've grown a goatee. You're not going to turn evil are you?" she half-joked. Its been a long while since she had seen him. Not sure how he had once acted, only that he was annoying...
"Lets go!" she added with a smile, dashing out, but soon realizing she had no idea where to go, and returned back to the others...
"Where are we heading?"

Rayl put a hand to his goatee in defense," Hey, I'm trying to grow a beard, alright?" with this, he watched her run off then come to a halt and ask for directions. Elibe snickered as if reading the knight's mind, as they trotted on over, and, well, Rayl took advantage of her disability by grabbing her and hoisting her up and onto the saddle," I havn't been in this area as often, so we'll probably have to look for a big sign that says: 'A Healer Lives Here'. In the meantime, tell me: How's it going?"
Yes, his question was as simple as that, ut there was so much to tell that such a simple question was really very complex...

Aleth frowned at the sudden show of force. Was he always so straight forward? Well shes stuck with him for awhile, but it is nice to meet up with a past friend or something close to one. As for the question, she wasn't sure how to answer. Should she explain like everything that happened? To complicated...
"Nothing really, simply managed to get away from my parents again." she answered, trying to think up anything really important. Failing to recount the fact that she lost her arm, she let out a sigh.
"What about you?"

"Well...I killed Hargus. It wasn't much of me being the big hero, but just the finishing blow. After that I helped the others create a village in Sacae, before I returned to Pherae, and....well...Knight work continues." He smiled, before tapping her shoulder lightly," So...how'd that happen exactly? " His smile failed though when he asked this, and he was obviously worried. Was she alright? She shouldn't be wandering alone with one arm!

"Not as exciting as slaying someone important, more like a freak accident." "Through traveling, I came across a village under attack, tried to help out, ended up having her arm chopped up." she tried to laugh or shrug off the end. "It really sucks when you're born right handed..."
"Things happen throughout the years, but it doesn't seem you have changed much." she answered brushing away her long snowy hair. Perhaps she should have taken more time to wash this morning...but why was she thinking about cleanness in the first place!?!

"Sucks to be born right handed? Everyone is right handed! I'm probably the only one aroun who isn't!"
"Wait- I havn't changed much?!" Rayl actually seemed offended by that, as they continued to ride on towards their destination, which was now in their vision," Trust me...I'm not who I was five years ago: Some foolish, greenhorn, gloryhound thinking very knight had to save princesses and slay dragons...Ha! What laugh!" he took a moment here to catch his breath while Elibe came to a halt where they had been trying to get to...yeshehad just insulted himself there, as he began to think of how much he changed.
" The only reason I decided to stay a knigh after that mess was because I found out what it meant to be a knight...It's not slaying dragons or being famous in any way: it's to preserve the peace and freedom of the people." he then dismounted, and helped a hand out to help his friend down, before adding," And trust me, killing is not exciting...it's terrifying...If you were at that battlefield also...well, try not to think about it. We have the present task to worry about."
( OOC: Here is a sort of comparison chart for your eyes only:
Old Rayl: Rookie, Gloryhound, tended to do bad things when after drinking even a small amount of alchohol ( EX. Bern incident.), awkward around women.
New Rayl: Experienced Knight, Chivalrious, abstains from drinking...STILL awkward around women (lol fail)...he also is trying to grow a BEARD! EPIC! )

"Guess everything does change in time, but my lack of memory hasn't," she laughed, before hopping off the horse. Was she good with horses before? Probably not... More importantly, what were knights in her eyes from back then?
"Oh right, I thought knights were money hungry malicious beasts or something, thanks for proving me wrong, at least in your case," she said patting Rayl on the back, while she moved beside him to his right. It really was inconvenient to have one arm.
"Even though you say its terrifying, sometimes there is no way out of it...is there?" she muttered. That question somehow seemed profound to her. How many times have wars or battles been resolved by any means other than violence.
"We are ignorant creature, but we better hurry for that girl's sake." she pepped up at the last part. Trying to bring the mood away from death to concern.

Ralph sat by the bed on which the girl lay, he didn't know what she looked like, or where she came from, but there was something about her that made Ralph curious. He wasn't sure what it was exactly.

Awoken again, the maiden found she was in an even warmer and softer spot than she had been when she had last. In fact, she felt enveloped in the comfort, like she was in a bed. A bed so soft that felt like the one in her old home. The one that was but feet away from her own father's bed. She sighed and shifted in her half-conciousness, but her head stung as she did. With the pain came a sharp hiss from her, expressing how it felt. Still, the cleric pushed herself up into a sitting position, the pain making her slightly dizzy and off-balance. She opened her eyes and saw a hazy figure sitting on the end of what was, in fact, a bed. He looked like the boy from before. He even had the red sash over his face. She blinked in confusion for a moment, then looked around the room. It wasn't her room. This wasn't her home. So, where was she? She also could've swore she smelled the sweet scent of freshly baked bread coming from somewhere. Was she in... a bakery? A pub? She turned her head back to the boy painfully. "... W-Where... What... happened...? Who are...?" The young healer strained to speak, her head still unclear and making her speech shaky and stumbly.

The girl had woken up, it seemed, he heard the bed shifting as she sat up. "Woah, slow down. Drink some water." Ralph handed her a mug of water. "I'm Ralph, I rescued you from those bandits. You were out stone cold when I carried you to my friend's bakery. I sent some other guys to get you a healer, are you okay?"

"Quite." Rayl then proceeded into the house he had specified to his comrade, leaving the door open for his companion. Befre them was a woman sipping what was most likely tea. She wore a robe while her healing staff leaned against the wall nearby...meanwhile Rayl put a hand to his head, remembering when he got whacked upside the head by a staff from Alcibie, before turning to Aleth," Ummm...I know this is odd to ask, but would you mind explaining the situation to her? I havn't had the...best experiences with clerics...I'll be waiting with Elibe."
Yes he was sort of a mediphobe ( afraid of healers, clerics, and medics) as he slowly backed up and out of the building, and patted his trusted horse on the nose, who shook it's head as if to ask if there was something amiss,"...Nothing you don't know, old boy...nothing you do know..."

Th maiden didn't realize that her throat was very dry until the boy with the scarlet sash had handed her a cup of water. She was surprised to see that he was perfectly accurate without his eyesight, and even more surprised to hear that he had beaten off the bandits that attacked her. Without eyes? Most curious. Still, the cleric accepted the glass with a redundant nod and sipped it. The water had a hard time sliding down her dust-dry throat, but it did and it felt good. She sighed properly this time, trying to clear her head but finding it for naught. She closed her eyes and set the cup on the desk. So many things to say...
"Mister Ralph... Thank you so much for saving me. I... can never repay you properly, b-but I'll tell you my name," She said softly in her song-like voice. "It's Sakura. I'm pleased to meet you..."
