Sadly, his small effort was useless, as more questions arose as soon as he had stopped talking. Oh well. It was worth a try, I guess.
"As it stands, yes, we are headed towards Illia" Gabriel replied, taking back his compass and sticking it into his pocket.
"And sure, the bigger the group, the better. No one in their right mind would even think of attacking a group this large. We could even pass off as a small battalion if we wanted to."
OoC: It's ok to hear rumors like that, Pap, just don't do go around hearing rumors every 5 posts. And no, Morgoth, unless used in combat, weapons don't decrease in duration(unless if used in extreme cases, as would be trying to use a weapon to cut a rock in half, or blowing up a passage with a spell. Those things aren't the same as practicing on your own)

Shadow watched as the crowd before him conversed. All of their conversations seemed relevant some way or another to the fact that this group came together, here. Zaath found a sort of acquaintance, Alphonse seemed to get along with all, and everyone seemed to like each other. Except for Papilion, who seemed to have his doubts about Shadow. However, he did not care what the enlarged person had to say about him. No one knew who he was, no one would.
It was at that moment that the sound got to him. For all his life, he enjoyed the absence of people talking. His years in the woods, all he had to worry about were a loud screech owl, or some other critter. But people talked for other reasons, some, more ridiculous than others. Most of the time, he would have his hood on, and leave. But he couldn't put his hood on, not in front of all these people. Shadow put his hands behind his back, as they started to itch with anticipation. He couldn't wait to start traveling again.

Morgoth slowly regained consciousness. He sat up slowly, and sat on the log for a while to recover. He picked up his water skin and drank the whole thing as he put his cloak on.I'm going to have to find more water.I need food too. he thought. Morgoth took a pouch from a pocket and put several rocks in it.The other shaman said to head south, but the way he looked at me makes me not trust him.I think I'll go west. He traveled for a while when he came to a clearing. He heard voices and hid behind a tree, then peered into the clearing.Bandits! And they have water and food, but I couldn't take all five of them.I'll lure them into the forest, and sneak in and take their stuff. Morgoth then took out several rocks and quietly chanted the words from his tome. This took several minutes, as he wasn't used to using magic yet and had never charged more than one rock at a time.

Saturos clapped his hands together. "Well it looks like we're all, or at least most of us, are headed to Ilia. If that's the case, there's no reason to stick around here." He looked around at the group. "The group is a little big for traveling, however, as long as none of you are wanted criminals, that shouldn't be a problem," said Saturos, rubbing the back of his head. "None of you are criminals, right?"

Gabriel kept his mouth shut for a minute, before he decided to speak up. "The only one that could be possibly called something of the sort, if my suspicions are right, should be far away from here by now."
He sighed. He didn't want to think of Hiro as a criminal, but him disappearing all of a sudden could only mean so many things. "That said, I agree. We should get ourselves some provisions and depart as soon as we can."

'I guess that worked out well.' Errol thought.
He spoke up. "Surely someone knows of a town nearby where one of us could buy supplies."

After hearing Saturos ask if any of them were wanted criminals, Papilion started laughing. He thought to himself, "Is this guy serious? Of course some of us would be criminals. Why else would we be hiding in the forest."
Responding to Errol he said, "I don't think we should stop at any towns until we are out of Etruria. I just think it would be safer if we didn't.
Seeing Jya still asleep he then said to Gabriel and Errol, "And I think it's finally time to say goodbye to Jya." Papilion started to try to get on his horse. Grunting and groaning he finally pulled himself on. The horse looked depressed as Papilion went on.

"I'm not familiar with the surrounding area all that much, but I know there's a town at the base of a mountain range near the Etrurian/Ilian border," he said to Errol in a casual voice. Its been so long since I've been up so far north, I wonder how much it has changed... Alphonse listened to Papilion's comments and gave him a horrified look at his last comment about he girl. "You can't just leave a girl out in the forest! What kind of man are you!?" Alphonse in a loud, slightly aggressive voice. This fat man is very suspicious, he seems to be in quite a hurry and seems immoral towards others. He looked at the rest of the group talking away at each other (Except Shadow, who didn't seem too interested with the others) and then looked down at the girl.
Alphonse leaned towards Shadow and said quietly, "So what'd think? Should we be traveling with these people seem pretty nice except the..." Alphonse gave a motion towards Papilion with his head. "I don't trust the fat one, he's a bit suspicious. But then again, so are you..." he said with a chuckle at the end.

Gabriel almost jumped at Papilion's comment. "Leave her here!? That'd be insane. Since she's had no say in what we are going to do next, I say we should at the very least take her to the closest town with us. The only problem would be getting her to the town. We'd have to carry her."
"We should be able to get to Illia by going northeast from here" he said, taking out his compass out of his pocket. "It should be that way" he added, pointing opposite to where the river was, and a bit to the north.

Saturos reached down and grabbed the green clothed girl by the back of her outfit and hoisted her over his shoulder. She was light. Not much of a problem for him. "Well, if we're going to go, let's go already. I'm not one to stand around and talk," said Saturos, starting off in the direction Gabriel was pointing.

Shadow's attitude towards Papilion went from tolerable to hated right from the beginning of him opening his mouth. He had thought that maybe the shaman could look over the man's aspects in life, but when the 'cavalier' suggesting on leaving the girl, Shadow's inner rage flared. Even with his feeling in his gut, he kept a straight face. However, he would keep an eye on this... person.
As did his companion, Shadow leaned over to Alphonse and quietly replied, "I know I look suspicious, but I was not the one who suggested leaving a girl in the woods. We need to keep a close eye on Papilion. However, we also should be moving along." Shadow then waited for Alphonse to start walking, as he would follow him. He also decided to put his hood back on, to hide the anger in his eyes.

Zaath glanced over at Papillion, thinking that it would be unwise to leave anyone behind. If Jya was murdered by bandits or worse, taken hostage for god knows what, It would weigh pretty heavy on his conscience, and he knew very well that, like he said earlier, the more the merrier in these parts. "I don't think we leave should her behind, but if we're leaving soon, someone give her a nudge."
Zaath looked over the crowd and observed all the clearings occupants... a priest, a shaman, a swordsman, a knight and a few others. quite the fighting force. If bandits came this way, and they... might not, they would be defeated easily. Zaath was quite thankful he would have so many companions to travel with him, not for the company, for the protection. And hopefully the food, the thought to himself as his stomach growled quietly.

Morgoth was finally done charging the rocks,he felt drained but alive. He threw a couple to get their attention and when they turned to see what the noise was, he threw a couple into the forest. They ran into the forest like dogs on a cat. That was easy. Morgoth creped into their camp and took all the food and water he needed, only to find a bandit charging towards him. Morgoth launched the remaining rocks at the bandit, the force knocking him out. Morgoth got his tome out and started chanting and just in time to cut another bandit with a dark ray and then was hit over the head by another.
