Kasey watched as the person in the red armor hit the ground. A few bandits were getting closer to him. She ran from her place at the watchtower to the battlefield. She got a couple of village men to help retrieve him from the crowd and in doing so she saw a boy with green hair fighting off some bandits. She couldn't see his face but also couldn't help thinking it looked strangely like Abel might had he survived. It can't be him can it? I think he's dead, but there never was proof. she thought, as she headed into the where they put the wounded man.

Theian finishes gutting the bandit he had been fighting to see Francis helping... a young boy of sorts. A friend of his? Bah...
"Francis! Need help there?" He pushes a bandit that was coming at him, and starts walking toward Francis...

Evayl parked herself away from the fighting, her eyes scanning the field for enemies and injuries. She spotted the green-haired boy, Abel, get a nasty cut. Immediately, Evayl spurned her mount and trotted up to him. She could tell the boy was agitated. "Quit fussin' and let me heal you." Evayl said. She raised her staff and healed him, soothing the wounds. "See anyone else in need?" Evayl asked.

Abel was about to reply when he realized some people from the village had carted Garnet off. What the.. He then noticed an Axe-man and several other bandits were running toward him and Evayl."Watch out!" He said and jump forward to block the ax-men's attack. He pushed the man back and then met a lady swordsman's sword with his own. At this rate I might die today. I hope Garnets ok. Two others showed up to join the slaughter of Abel and Evayl.

Cefia grunted as one of bandits managed to slam right onto her. She doubled backwards, falling onto her back. This wasn't as painful compared to what she had been through. Before the man could chop her head off, she stopped the blow with her axe. The shock of hitting another metal dazed him long enough for her to get back up. From there she noticed a few things...this situation was confusing. Running towards the closest ally she could find, she stopped beside Francis and the gang he gathered.
"Umm, shoulda a person help 'ere?" she asked, not sure if she should join in with the fight.

Eragon noticed Able and Evayl being swarmed by bandits. He swooped down and stabbed a bandit as he landed, hitting the bandit's leg, Bane finished him off by biting his legs off leaving him helpless on the ground. While he was sitting there admiring hi victory another bandit came up from behind, slashing his sword at Eragon cutting his arm.

As Theian is walking, he hears the voices of many people. That axe-girl wondering if anyone would help. She can handle herself. She almost killed me. Abel was guarding Evayl from bandits, but Eragon was there to help. Francis and Garnet were out of sight... maybe it's all the bandits. Well, he'd better help someone. "Hang on! I'll help!" He runs toward Cefia's direction.
"Oh! Francis is here, too! Joy!" He looks at Cefia, "I doubt even a guy like him can only fight back so many. CHARGE!" He jumps down, and slashes at the back of one bandits. He retaliates by bringing the axe down. Theian goes to the left, but his left arm is hit. Another bandit throws his axe, and it cuts through Theian's back. "Arrg! Oh, that was not a good idea!" He stabs the first bandit's arm, making him unable to use his axe...

Garnet came to and looked around. Apparently, his injuries had been worse than he'd thought, and had caused him to black out. He weakly probed his armor, and realized that it was more than just another scrape. There was a serious dent in it which was pressing hard against his side.
He started to sit up, but felt a sharp driving pain. That axe blow he'd taken had probably cracked a rib. It was painful, but he still had to get out there. His job still wasn't done.
He let out a growl and gritted his teeth as he heaved himself into a sitting position. He seemed to have been pulled out of the fray by someone. He saw a scattering of people nearby. One of them was a young girl with light blue hair. What is someone so young doing here? Then he saw the staff she carried.
Climbing to his knees he managed to undo his armored chest plate enough for it to drop off. He spoke towards the girl "Girl... can you heal me with that thing?" He nodded at Kasey's (who he did not know the name of) staff, his voice ragged as with controlled pain.

Francis looked to the green haired woman and the bllue haired boy, and smirked, "Take on the guys behind me and get to the others." he swung his axe back up to counter a sneak attack on his old comrade, Charles', part. However, he'd swung backhand, and the imbalance caused both of them to both drop their axes. They both eyed their weapons, but instead of dashing to pick them up, rushed at each other with fists at the ready.
The two never really liked each other back when they both were bandits, as far as comradery among bandits go that is. They had often fought over everything, even the most irrelevant things...but then again most people don't have to find a nice comfortable rock to use as a pillow. Fist fights were common between the two as both sparring and a sort of rivalry thing.
Catching Charle's chin with a quick albeit poorly aimed hook, and soon received a hard punch to the gut, followed by being kicked to the ground. Francis had been pretty tired before all this fighting had begun anyways, and not to mention underfed, and already wounded to begin with, as he began to try to get back to his feet.
Charles however, having grabbed his axe, prepared for the death blow, until one of the bandit's, wielding a sword, ran him through. Scrambling to his feet and grabbing his axe, Francis gave a nod to the bandit, his buddy Keith, as the two went back to back .He was getting used to this whole helping villages thing, and fighting in general...
...Though he still hated small towns.

Kasey stepped toward the pained looking stranger with her staff in hand. "I will be able to heal you," she told him, "but not your whole wound at once. I am not a very strong healer yet, it will take time." She leaned towards him to examine the place where he had been struck. She then held her staff above his chest and murmured the words she had recited so many times. When the flash of light was gone the gash had been mostly healed, but not all the way. Kasey was surprised with her progress as she went to sit down.

Nobody of Eric's age would have thought about death, and, despite all the things he did think about, he stayed true to this.
Of course, that was before he found himself at the mercy of a bloodthirsty pair of bandits that obviously didn't care about the age of their victim. Things like that tending to ratchet things into perspective.
Eric was weaponless, whether his opponent realized it or not, and when a third bandit came over to join the fun, Eric had to agree with his opponent: his luck was out.
Or not, he thought as the newcomer quickly dispatched the aggressors, standing guard over Eric as others came to his aid. Soon enough Eric had a crowd around him, each fighting off a bandit as he quickly tried to recover himself.
"Thanks," he said out loud, directing it at everyone around him. Several of them needed help, it seemed, so, after a moment of indecision, he stepped toward the nearest bandit, put a hand against his back, and launched his spell.
He promised himself then and there that he would never do it again as smoke erupted from different openings in the bandit; the bandit stood smoking for a moment before crumpling to the ground.
Okay, experiment a success. Let's not do that again. Ever, he thought as he forced down nausea. On turning around, he found the place he would be needed most: on the other side of the battleground, across a swarm of bandits that, though it was thinning, he had no chance of passing through and even less chance of firing accurately over. Plan B it is, then. Behind him, mercenaries and fighters and Elimine-knows-what grappled; he could start there, than clean out the rest of the bandits.
Charging a fireball, Eric darted as far out of the battlefield he could go and fired spells as fast as he could. Even charging and firing only two or three a minute, he knew they were making progress: the number of dead bandits was beginning to outnumber the living. There! Noticing a blue-haired swordsman dueling a (now armless) bandit, Eric fired at the pair, striking the bandit in the head. Before the bandit had fallen, Eric was searching for a new target, looking for someone not too closely locked with their opponent.

Theian is wrestling with the bandit when his head apparently exploded. "Whoa! I don't think heads are supposed to explode... Did you do that?" He looked at the small pupil, who had now left, preparing to cast another spell. "Huh, alright. Let's finish this job!" He goes over to Francis, and stabs someone behind him. Ahh, missed and hit the stomach. Better finish the job.
Man, I love this new job!

Garnet tried to relax as the healer approached. He didn't care if she was a complete novice at that moment. Anything she could do would have to be better than what he had at the moment.
As she went about healing his injury, he felt a wave of energy pass through him, originating from his broken bones. Next, it was as if they were being sealed back into place. His breathing grew easier and the pain diminished. Still, he wouldn't be able to forget the injury until it got more attention.
He rose and thanked the blue haired girl before saying quietly under his breath. "Now where'd that Green-headed Illian get to..." He was referring to Abel.
He moved out a short distance from the place where he'd been healed, but was unable to locate Abel. There was a crowd fighting off in another direction maybe he'd go help out there.

As Garnet got off and moved out, Francis gave him an encouraging pat on the back, before he turned to Theian, his buddy Kieth right behind him," Alright Theian, go find that Abel kid...you know, that guy with the green hair and armor? my and Keith will attack them over there." it took the former bandit a few moment to realized Theian's strike against a former comrade, before he turned and gave the man a nice back swing decapitation with his axe...although such a swing sent him off balance and almost to the ground...since when we bandits elegant fighters...especially when they used axes and never had a days worth of professional training?

Evayl ducked away from the fighting, her poor horse getting spooked by it all. "Easy does it, Mely." Evayl whispered to her. She prepared her staff and charged to Eragon. She healed his wound slightly and then retreated before any bandits got the idea to attack her. This was starting to get really hairy now. "So, uh, Abel. Could you please kind of...stay in front of me? I'm not a very good fighter..." she asked. Evayl trotted to Abel's side, her eyes still scanning for enemies. She knew that an unprotected girl with no weapon was an obvious target on the battlefield; Evayl absolutely had to stick near someone who could protect her.
