Theian, after thinking it over, decides he will need to do something first. "Wait here, I need to finish something." He carries his gear again, and heads east of the camp, nearing the borders of the camp. "Hm... how should I leave Richter a note? Ah, I know..."
Carrying the rotting matter inside his bag, he gets some paper and, using the zombie's dead matter as a form of ink, writes this.
To Richter, Clair, Kynlis, Morgoth, Morgoth II and his brother, Jya, and Valorian
Well, seems like things will become strict here. Very strict. Too strict for a low-life money-loving merc like me to hang around. Heh, I'm of no real use here. Not now, anyways. Well, tell the following people this.
Morgoth II, I hate you. Too strict, too boring. Your brother, everything a guy could love... except that his head could use some fixing.
Kynlis and Clair. Kynlis, thanks for noticing me out there. I was hungry. Clair, thanks for leading me to Richter. Good luck keeping your rank.
Morgoth. We haven't talked much. We should.
Jya and Valorian. Ahhh, I can't really say much. Jya, you're not weak, just needing... something... Maybe Valorian could help...
Richter... thanks for letting a complete jacka** not only join, but also spar you. I hope you stay the same after killing Superior of Superiors for me.
Well, that's all. Oh, I'm coming back. Kynlis, Morgoth, Clair, and Valorian I still haven't chatted with fo long. Morgoth II and his brother I need to learn the names of so I can actually track them down to kill. And Richter, I believe you still need to pay me five gold coins.
Where will I go, will I live, will I ever get to killing/fighting who I want to kill/fight? Hell, why do you care? I'm just saying good bye.
-Theian G. Makarn
(Richter, I'm not joking about those five gold coins)
He places it where one might find it, the secluded spot where he sat. He gets out his bag, empties the severed body parts that weren't needed, and left it there next to the note. If the mass didn't attract someone, the stench would. Hopefully, no one will throw away the note. Theian takes a drink of his canteen, and walks over to Eragon.
"Now, where were we? I believe I was asking you if I could hitch a ride with you to wherever you're going. Can you?"

Aleth trudged along the camp, not meeting anyone's eyes and especially avoiding soldiers. She wanted to go straight to whoever was the leader and...and...what was she to do? For crying out loud, her family had trained her to be a mercenary, taught her basic information that would help her survive a war, yet for some reason she refused to consider herself like them. All her parents cared about was the money, nothing more, not even their daughters life.
Her aimless walking had gave her though, from what she gathered this was an Etrurian army! A thought that clung tight to the back her mind had been bothering her for awhile now.
"Etrurians always pay their mercenary!" she said out loud... Her body froze, this was definitely NOT the time to be talking to oneself, especially with her current situation. She was a mercenary, not working for this army, that came out of Ostia. This was practically a life and death situation, but that knowledge her horrible parents had taught her came up now.
(OOC: Hoping to make friends.)

In all the hustle and bustle of the camp, Kynlis had been separated from Clair. Someone who had looked like an officer had put her on the defense of one of the barricades even though it looked like everything was finally calming down.
She sat there looking toward to ruined city through the rain. Ugh, I don't know why they want me doing this now," she thought. "This rain makes any shooting I do inaccurate. Plus, I can't see all that well to boot."
Just as Kynlis was about to snap from the rain and the monotony, she heard someone, a female she thought, say "Etrurians always pay their mercenary!" Seeing as there were others already standing watch, she quickly slipped away in the direction of the voice, coming upon a white haired girl with a sword.
"Hey, are you okay?" she asked as she noticed the girl was tense and had what seemed to be a disgusted look on her face.

"It's raining and we're all getting wet, other than that I'm alright," Aleth quickly snapped out of her grand mistake. This new arrival had given her a chance to forget about her parents and she never passed down such an offer.
"Than again....I'm jobless, so like can you help a mercenary out?" Aleth asked, getting straight to the point. It was true, she had been jobless for a few months lately, sure she helped out various townsfolk, but they paid in food and all they ever wanted was errands. The fight with a zombie helped her realize her current situation, she had grown weaker and having one arm really didn't help her resume.

"Well," Kynlis mused. "We did just participate in a major fight that turned into a supernatural disaster. Our numbers certainly took a hit." She gave the other girl another once over before coming to a decision. "Well, I can't guarantee anything, but I'll take ya to Commander Richter. He's the one who makes the decisions."
With that, Kynlis started walking off toward where she thought the commander would be, signalling for the other to follow her. "So, what's your name?"

Clair answered her Commander's question with a puzzled look. She'd thought that maybe he'd had it commissioned for her, but if it wasn't him, could it be the Herald? Heck, maybe the blacksmith himself....
"Sir, I'd thought that you'd ordered it. I picked it up today from one of the supply stations that came from Sacae." Just because she didn't know where it had come from didn't lessen it's usefulness, but it did puzzle her. Now she wanted to know who had ordered it. Who would just give this kind of equipment to her?
She shifted in the unfamiliar armor as she watched the small purpleheaded tactician departing. "We are taking on some new staff then?"

"Been called Aleth ever since I was born," she replied, quickly wrapping her cloak around her right arm. Usually, she didn't bother, but it often cost her jobs. A mercenary that cannot fight isn't worth a cent, that was what her parents had told her. Often times she question their philosophy, but could they be ones that were right?
"Anyways, whats yours?" she asked, trying to appear all the more natural.

Kynlis was oblivious to Aleth shifting and covering her right side with her cloak as she kept walking.
"Me? My names Kynlis," she said brightly. She was about to continue when she spotted a pegasus up ahead. Clair, being the only person with a pegasus that she knew, must be up ahead. And wherever Clair was, Commander Richter was sure to be nearby.
"Hey, I think the Commander's up ahead. Let's go introduce you." She stopped for a second. "Wait, let's go meet his assistant first. It'll be better if she brings you to him."

"Umm, Kynlis, does the owner of that pegasus, is she...I mean she won't strap you onto umm the pegasus and threaten to kick you off even if you said or did nothing wrong, right," Aleth asked quite seriously and nervously. This had happen quite a few times, the problem was her parents that let their companion do that to her. That lady was evil and sadistic The injuries weren't all that bad, a few broken bones every now and than wasn't bad for her parents and friends.
"Nevermind, I just have a bad recollection of a...pegasus knight when I was a child, its the parents fault I SWEAR!" she slashed out with a high spirited tone. It was probably the horrible weather and situation that cause all the memories tp rush back...the horrible memories of a childhood that should have never been.

Kynlis stared at Aleth with a confused look on her face before shaking her head. "No, Clair would never do something like that. She's really nice. And so is Corona, her pegasus."
When Aleth mentioned bad memories, Kynlis' mood began to fall, thinking of her own past. "Yeah, memories will do that to you." Before she could get all doom and gloom, though, Corona nickered at her and nuzzled her shoulder. Apparently she had walked all the way to the pegasus on autopilot.
"Hi Corona," she said with a smile, patting the pegasus on the head. "Where's Clair?" The pegasus swung its head, indicating the direction towards its rider. "Thank you."
The hunter turned back to Aleth, "Come on," she said, starting to walk to where she could she Clair and the commander. A sudden thought struck her. The commander and Clair were always together. Sure, because of their positions, they had to be together a lot, but they were together an awful lot. Could they be...together?

"So, its not that I'm not a mercenary, but my parents says I suck so like want to show me the ropes afterwards?" Aleth asked, trying to change the subject. Was being in an army for her, no, this was more of a survival thing. Just like when she used her snow white hair to hide during her escape from her parents. She wasn't going to stay with people that just might trade her off for the price they say. Sure it was high, but not THAT high of a price. She smacked herself in the head with her left arm, trying to forget everything she had just thought.
"Hope I'll actually get a job," she laughed, trying to get a little more upbeat.

Morgoth kept walking and ignored Mavick's comment. "If a annoying know-it-all Shaman is staff, then yes." he said to Clair as he wandered off. After a few minutes he came across Theian talking to some wyvern riding guy that he instantly recognized. What the- he thought as he ran behind a tree. Maybe the rain is Blocking my vision... nope that is Eragon! How in the world did he get here!! And where did he get a wyvern? I better get away before he sees me, because I'm sure He found out I killed his Family. I'm not ready and I'm sure he is. Morgoth quickly ran of to find something to do. OoC: Weird post and relay lame.

Morgoth mumbled a complaint under his breath as Clair watched him wander off. He seemed to only be around part of the time. Watching from the edges, before drifting away again.
The rain was building here and made it hard to see very far, but she eventually made out Kynlis and someone else approaching. She pushed a stubborn bit of hair away from her eyes for what seemed like the thousandth time. She turned toward them as they approached.
"Kynlis, I'm glad you're ok." She sagged slightly, relieved that her friend was ok. There was also a young swordswoman with white hair there. Clair introduced herself to the newcomer.
"I'm Assistant Officer Feldsky." She loosened her grip on the shield of formality then. "Who are you?"
She truly was starting to feel the part now. She had always felt like some little kid pretending at being more, but now she had realized that in her brief time serving in the army she had performed her duties well. Also it occurred to her that in the few weeks she had been here, she had quite possibly seen battles more gruesome than soldiers had seen for decades. The uniform that she now wore, came together and unlocked a confidence in her that had been trying to break loose.

"Sure, why not just want to tell ya, I don't have anywhere to go so I hope you do! I'll go get Bane so this would be a good time to see if you could go sneak off with some food, because I don't have any." He went to where he 'parked' Bane."Come on boy. Were leaving." He walked Bane over to where Theian asked him for a ride.

"Listen Aleth, a mercenary always needs to make a good impression when they first meet their employer," her father had told her. This was no different than a life and death moment, especially for a mercenary taught her way. If a mercenary can't make a living from what they do, especially getting a job, they don't deserve to live. Her parents teachings always kicked in at the worse times possible.
"Names Aleth, a traveling mercenary from Ilia, looking for a job," she responded her voice calm, collected, and most important of all sounding like a veteran of war. She might not haven been to war, but the training that her parents prepared for her, always gave her a life and death impression, a fair supplement.
