Jya hid in the shadows, skipping between buildings and such, trying to avoid open streets. This was just a tactic she used to get away from…the law or rather the man. The time with Valorian was fun and all, but the teachings were very difficult. He was trying to reform many of her habits, but of course it would take time. For now, she had to take a break and get away from the bishop. The streets were far to obvious as a way to get away, so she had to take into alleyways. When the coast seemed to be cleared, she began to casually walk around like any other citizens.
All she needed was a little break from Valorian and any other clergyman for that matter. Than a thought struck her, was Alcibie always this strict, no she was different. Alcibie was more like a goddess to her. The thought quickly dwindled away as her mind shifted back to relaxation. It was a beautiful sunny day, a little dry, but it was a good day nonetheless. Jya wasn't so sure how to handle a day by herself now, it had been awhile since she had been traveling by herself. Whistling a tune, she kept walking, paying close attention to anything that seemed off.

Lilly sat up in her room wondering what she was going to do today. Yesterday had been fun actually everyday was fun. She thought of something she could do! Bolting down the stairs making quiet a racket and out the door.
“I’m going to play outside kay!” Lilly called her mother may have said something, but really she knew to get outside before Daddy woke up. He was always really whinny in the morning.
“Where’s the leaf dust I burned yesterday I know I hid it!”

Jya had finally shifted through her various jumbled ideas of what fun things to do. If she were to pickpocket people, that means a high chance of getting caught by Valorian. However breaking and entering would be even more alerting and jail would have an even higher chance of catching the bishop’s wrath. She would have to do something different. When the sound of a child’s voice reached her ears, it finally gave her an idea. Today, she would carry out a kidnapping heist! When she found a piece of paper, she realized there was no pen to write with! Well she could just scribble a ransom note of the street with her blade.
“Hey my friend! Want to play a game called kidnapped?” she asked, skipping out in front of Lilly and looking at her face to face. That was how you get the kid right? This was going to be fun if successful.

“Kidnapped? Sure what’s the rules?” Lilly asked looking up to her new friend. She looked like someone. Maybe it was the black hair. She had black hair. Mommy didn’t have black hair her hair was purple.
“My mom doesn’t have black hair. I do though. What are the rules I want to Play!”

Jya was doing quite good for her first kidnapping! As for the rules she wasn’t quite sure… There was some stuff about ropes and hideout, but all that doesn’t quite make her understand. She did give Lilly her interpretation.
“So first we leave a note around here, saying something to your parents about money and getting you back. Than we leave and look around the place for places to hide and a bunch of other stuff you want to do. At the end of the day we come back here so you can go home and sleep!” Jya directed before taking out a stick.
“So where is your home and whats your name, mine is Jya!”

“Money? The shinny things mom likes? She really likes money! Daddy likes Ale and throwing people out windows. He even lets me help sometimes. I make them catch on fire. Did I tell you I like fire?” Lilly brattled once she opened her mouth the words kept coming out.
“OH! My name is Lilly. I live in the Bar! It’s this way. We have to be quiet though Daddy doesn’t like loud things in the morning. Kay so shush kay?” Lilly smiled and led her new friend to her home.

Jya listened to Lilly talk about her life, which was really quite interesting compared to hers. Sure she been through her shares of trouble, but Lilly just seemed interesting and adorable. This was one thing that she learned over the years, little kids are cute!
“Alright! I can be the master of quietness…” she said, putting a finger to her lips. When they got there, she scribbled out the following note, “If you want your Lilly back, bring money.” Well seeing as there were mistakes to her logic, Jya ignored the fact there was no location or time, this was really just a game for her.
“Alright, now let’s have to some fun, no any good place, I’ll take you there real quick!”

“There’s a wharf. I am not supposed to play there, but there are a bunch of crates and I can light them on fire. I need my book though! It’s that one.” Lilly point back up at the building to a specific window. Lilly knew where her book was she never forgot where it was it let her make things go boom.
“Can you get it? Oh! We can go fire bunnies everyone likes fried wabbit!” Lilly smiled up to her new bestest Friend.

Jya looked up at the window and the book right on the other side. Well if Lilly wants the book, then she’ll get the book! As for the bunnies, she knew that cooked bunnies tasted good and saw nothing wrong with it. This kid was quite a genius compared to most adults.
“Alright, wait a minute and I’ll get your book,” she said before finding the best route. It was best to avoid the owners and most people, so she began to grasp at anything that appeared solid enough to be climbed. After a few minutes of fumbling noises, she popped out of the edge of the window, waving the book. After a few more minutes of taking intricate paths back out, she handed the book to Lilly.
“Alright, lead the way to this wharf,” Jya said, not knowing what a wharf was.

Lilly took the book and nearly fumbled to the ground. Lilly saluted to her elder and started leading her to the wharf.
“One time, my daddy pulled a guy up by his collar and hoisted him out the door and threw him into the arena. It was funny because he slammed the guys head on the door thingy and then threw him into a post. Mommy just shook her head and tried not to laugh. She does that a lot Daddy says it’s because she thinks people will think she is less scary. That will never be true though. Daddy says she is scarier than he is. I think he is probably right mommy can go all scary sometimes and guys run out of the bar. That’s why you pay before you get your drinks.”
Lilly continued to talk until the sounds of the inlet of the ocean began to fill the area and the place with the crates. She liked lighting up the crates.

Jya listened to Lilly's descriptions of her family. Her mother and father seemed truly scary, but she kept from saying anything. It was required to keep the child with you at all times and under...under...what was it? Happiness! That was the only thing she can recall at the moment, so basically whatever Lilly wants Lilly gets.
"Alright, so we go light crates and than we go light rabbits? Right?" she asked as she walked towards a great jumble of crates. Was it allowed to have flames engulf the thing? Well, if it made Lilly happy and children were supposed to be innocent, she'll go along with it.

“Look Jya let’s go stand on that one.” Lilly pointed and tossed her book. Oops she put the book on the crate. Then climbed up on top, and grabbed the book.
“Now see you have to concentrate. Else you risk other things going boom! Mommy jumped once. I set a guys leg on fire. Now Shush. Concentrate kay.” Lilly smiled up to Jya. And slammed open her Magic book and flipped to a certain page. Close your eyes. Breathe in. Breathe out. Concentrate…and BAM!
“Look!” Lilly giggled as one of the broken crates went up in flames. “Did you see it? I did it!”

Jya tried to concentrate as Lilly instructed, but it didn’t really work with her. When the crate burst into flames however, she couldn’t help to be excited at the spectacle. She hadn’t hanged out with magic users besides Alcibie, Gabriel, Valorian, and maybe a few others since she was born. It sort of made her sad that she had no idea whatsoever how magic worked. This girl here must be talented or something just like all the others. The crate catching on fire was really exciting!
“Hey Lilly can you do another!?!?” she asked, suddenly feeling much more hyper than before, it had been awhile since so much energy flowed through her vains. Her parents must be proud of her and encourage her to practice all the time! That’s what Jya thought at least…

Lilly jumped a bit when Jya told her very loudly to do another. A wide grin cracked across Lilly’s face. Mommy always jumped when she did magic. Her new bestest friend didn’t though. Lilly liked Jya she was fun.
“I’ll do…um…that one m’kay?” Lilly nodded to herself and smiled to Jya.
Don’t think about other things. Think about lighting the crate. Don’t let your thoughts wander. Thoughts wandering make people shoes catch a flame and mommy’s boxes go blamo. Think about making the crate go boom.
Lilly sat there for a while trying to calm down. Stop thinking about other things besides the crate! I have to make the other one go boom too!
Her breath in was shaky, her breath out was steadier. She opened her eyes…
BOOM!
The crate went up in flames. Lilly jumped to her feet and squealed. “I did it Again! I made it go catch on fire again! Did you see it? I did it ‘kay!” Lilly smiled and covered her grin with her hands.

"Real good job!" Jya congratulated to Lilly for her accomplishment with magic. When she heard some angry shouts from behind, she knew better than to stay put.
"Well, why don't I give you a treat, any place you would like to eat Lilly?" she asked looking over her shoulders. Not far were a few men running towards them clearly distraught at what they see.
"Hey, why don't I just piggy back you there?" she asked patting her back.
"You can totally be the rein master," she said, ready to get out of the current situation. This was getting a heck of a lot more fun.
