Aaron saw some movement beginning, and decided that if the others weren't awake yet, they would be soon. He went ahead and started moving about himself. Actually, there wasn't really anything to do. His own food stores were all but exhausted, and he didn't really wish to impose on this other group. After all, they'd already allowed him shelter for the night.
While the mage spent his time, mostly, stretching himself out from sleeping on the stone floor, he noticed that Kelvin and his girlfriend had found something he'd missed. It was difficult to tell the mood, but it didn't seem to be happy news.
"What's going on? Everything alright?" He said, keeping his voice low enough to remain somewhat polite for the still-sleeping travelers.

Fargo was running. He was running continuously, without any break. Each step was like his last. The running was becoming unbearable. Fargo was not so sure how he would keep up his quick pace. His breathing was hoarse, always wanting to intake more air. All he wanted to do was stop, but if he did, Fargo would not know what would become of him.
Then, he tripped over something. He flew through the air, landing upon the soaked grass. Fargo cried out, but no one would hear him. The archer was desperate. He looked behind him, from what he was trying to escape from.
He saw a dark figure running after him. It would only take seconds before it would catch him. The thing was not man, but the form was not any kind of recognizable animal either. All Fargo knew was that it was not going to help him. In a final effort, the archer reached for his bow and quiver, but discovered they were gone. He was completely defenseless, and would surely die from the pursuing creature.
Then, it leaped at him, dark claws bearing down at the helpless archer. Fargo held up his arms, trying to protect himself from the terror that would soon kill him. But just as the claws were about to come in contact with the young bowman, a sudden white light engulfed everything.
His body suddenly tensed up, as the green haired archer woke with a jump. Fargo was panting, not sure of where he was. He could not comprehend where he was, and that frightened him. Desperately, he went through what had previously happened. Fargo ran one of his hands through his hair, his eyes darting everywhere. He just wanted to know where exactly he was, and why he was there.
Then, it all made sense. The images of what happened the previous night came to him. With a sigh, Fargo relaxed his muscles, and lay back down. The terror was over, those claws were gone. The archer was not sure what exactly he was supposed to make of the dream, but he could not get it out of his head. He sat up in silence, trying to figure out what was with that dream. It was terrifying, but the end stuck with him.

The rock walls of the cave were not the most comfortable of pillows, but Gabriel had a decent night. It was much better out in the wild at this time of the year. The grass and ground were not nearly as hard, and save for the rain, it wasn't really cold during the night.
He pushed against the ground, slowly trying to get up. He leaned against the wall, rubbing his eyes and trying to get his messy hair into a less monstrous shape. How he missed the warm showers back in Pherae...
He took a quick look around while cleaning his clothes and adjusting his headband, only to find the cave less cluttered than it was the night before. Yaen and Valcrist were nowhere to be seen, and it felt like someone else was missing. Probably a few of the newcomers had woken up earlier along with those two. Kelvin and Chelsea were awake, as was the green-haired mage near him, Aaron, the grim-faced shaman, Morgoth, and the archer whose friend was in trouble...he had still to get the man's name. He simply smiled and waved to them, trying to avoid waking anyone else up.
The fire had died out at some point during the night, it seemed. Of course, with no mage to keep it burning awake, and with a really limited supply of wood, it was to be expected.
They had to get moving soon. The rain had made them miss nearly half a day, and he couldn't be sure when Etruria was to make it's next move. He hoped Lucy had found something out by now, too.

Joseph opened his eyes slowly. The pirate was sleeping on his side, his back to the rest of the group. He remained still, breathing calmly as one did when in rest. There was more noise now in the cave, and the pirate was cautious. While these people did save him, he was not one to simply trust stranger’s right after he met them. While the man who talked to him, Morgoth, seemed like a sincere enough man, there was still much to understand.
Slowly, the sea-wolf turned on his opposite side. He began to examine the residing people in the cave. It seemed that the cave had more space than it did that night. In fact, Joseph noticed that the man with multiple swords was missing, and that boy who seemed to be following him. Strange... Wonder where they went off to. Either way, probably ain't me business.
The pirate soon noticed that the man who he spoke with earlier was not missing. Neither was the scallop, Fargo. Although, it seemed the girl who was near him was gone. It was strange, but acceptable. He had no idea who these people were, and what their intentions were. Joseph would learn, but for now, he wanted to rest. The sea-wolf decided he would lie on his back, and relax his sore muscles.

Kelvin held Chelsea close and was at a loss for words. All he could muster was a simple, "I won't, Chelsea, I won't," followed by a reasuring squeeze. It upset him to see her so distressed, but all he could do is reasure her. He looked up and notice that the green-haired mage had approached. "Oh, it's nothing you should be too concerned about. A few of our group have gone their seperate ways," Kelvin answered.

Leanin would snap her eyes open, open her mouth in a yawn, sometime during all the ruckuss and talking she must have fallen asleep, her body ached, yet she didn't remember much of what the people in the cave had talked about, nor who really had been there. Drawing a hand trough her hair pink hair, as she slowly slid up to a sitting position, looking around at the inside of the cave. Slowly she would open her fire tome, starting to check it for damage from the moisture of the rain, though ridiculus it might be.Then she threw another glance around the room, letting out a sigh of relief, Arron was still there afterall, she found some relief in his presence, it would have been trouble if he had somehow dumped them in a cave full of potential robbers. Stiffling yawn with her right hand, she closed her book with her left quickly tucking it away beneath her cloak.
((Ooc: Sorry for my absence, had trouble with my computer, and the computer I borrowed from a friend lacked a few buttons on the keyboard. ))

It took a few minutes but Chelsea recovered. She wiped her eyes, feeling somewhat embarrassed. She let go of Kelvin, though still keeping one of his hands in hers. She still couldn't believe Val had left without a goodbye. If she saw him again, she'd give him a piece of her mind. For now, however, she just kept her gaze down, still embarrassed she had broken down like that. She kept both her mouth closed and herself close to Kelvin. It was gonna be a long day.

Aaron's expression quirked into a small frown at the news. If some of the travelers had left... and if Yaen had left.... Well, Yaen had been the only person that he had any contact with before, but he could get by fine. He'd gotten news that Wyatt had made it out of the fire safely as well, and that was good news. Now all he needed was news that Ostia had been a bad dream, and everything would be fine. Not much chance of that.
He left the two then, giving a small smile when he saw Lea was up. That was good, because it was still a ways before they got to Laus.
Well, that was it. He had his messenger bag, with what supplies he had left, and his tome slung across his shoulders, and once nice, now ragged navy cloak slung over top of that. Stepping outside, the air felt wet, but it wasn't raining for the moment at least. He was ready to go, but clearly, few others were. He needed to try and sort out some thoughts anyway. Some of the images in the cavern he'd fallen into still occupied his thoughts. Roland's Tomb had held images from the scouring, that much was certain, but at least one painting had been a completely different style of art. What could those be about?
Then, there was these wolf-monsters. What were they? Could he find anything about them, if he looked? He'd wanted to visit Laus' library when he'd left the town originally, but now he had some concrete reasons. "...What are you?" He mumbled to himself while staring towards the sky, in thought.

Gabriel made his way outside the cave and stretched out while waiting for everyone else to wake up. His fire magic was working again, though his arm was still in pain. The sooner he got to Laus, the better. It had been quite a few days, and his arm felt number and number as days passed, pain increasing as well. Yaen and Valcrist weren't outside, to his surprise. Had Yaen...kept his promise of leaving? That was to be expected. But Valcrist leaving as well was the true shocker. He seemed quite close to Chelsea and Kelvin, but he had also developed a teacher-pupil relationship with the plainsman. Was...that why they were crying?
He shook his head. There was nothing he could do about it now, and thinking about it would only make things worse. They had chosen their path. Now Gabriel and the rest had to choose theirs.
Eventually, everyone would wake up, and they'd depart again towards Laus, as was planned. Regardless of the original direction everyone was going in, Laus was close by, and after a day like the one before, it was best to go to the closest town to get supplies and sort things out.
