OOC: Farewell. xD
IC:
Balthier roused himself, opening one eye to see Cebrail full of supplies. "Hm, there you are." He said, getting up on his horse, then dismounting it. "Please, keep the horse." He shook Cebrail's hand firmly, then tilted his head. "My time here was much appreciated. Thank you much, Cebrail." He nodded to the others. "And you Bridget, naturally. Reylan, as well. Mana, when she gets back... Send her my adieu."
Balthier brushed himself off and looked to the sky. He politely 'ahem'ed, and began to walk.
He walked out, and didn't turn around. But he waved a hand, and called behind. "Bye, kiddos."

OoC: I know I said we'll move this to a new thread upon my return (which has happened already) but I think we'll wait until Mana and Selibas do something....
IC: Balthier had trotted away and waved back to the group. Cebrail shook his head. "I'll keep your horse until you return!" He yelled, petting Edelweiss' coat. They were getting closer to the river. He looked at the other mounted men and nodded. They knew what they had to do. Their cavalry had dispersed, each man going to a different city.
The minutes dragged on, his worries came back. Mana and Selibas had both disappeared. Maybe I shouldn't have left myself. On the road behind them, Cebrail could hear the galloping of horses. He turned around and gripped his lance, panic blanketed the caravan. The figures soon became apparent on the horizon.
"The Caelin flag. We have supplies!" He smiled. Marquess Caelin came through. Clerics began to tend to the wounded, food was being distributed. Happiness, if only temporary, ensued.

Mana could see the camp, they were almost arrived. She took a glance at Selibas's wound, he needed a healer to heal his wound completely. "We are almost here." She whispered to him. Her wound was bleeding a little, supporting Selibas weight gave much pressure to her wounded leg. She didn't let Selibas to notice it and kept walking.
At last, they arrived in the camp. "Healer! We need healer!" Mana shouted, soon a cleric came and examined Selibas' wound. "It is a deep wound. But you did a good job healing him with your Vulnerary, his wound is better now. Leave him to us." Mana nodded and waved to Selibas before made her way towards Bridget and sat beside her. She took a bandage from her bag and began wrapping her wounded thigh.
After she finished, she looked around and just saw Reylan and Cebrail, but not Balthier. She knew if he wanted to go but at least she wanted to say good bye. "Geez, men always leave without say good bye." Of course she mean Balthier and Selibas.

Selibas was laid on a mat looking straight up. He couldn't stop thinking of his sword and his anger was what was continued to hurt his chest. Selibas couldn't help his anger and the fact that he had no control made him more angry.
He had to get up get away from these clerics. He knew they were helping him live but he did not care so he started to get up. He took a few steps and the cleric sat him back down. He got up again and the proccess continued for some time until a group of soldiers noticed and started to laugh.
He did not care he didn't know where in th camp he would go but he had to get away.

Mana couldn't hold her laughter when she saw Selibas and the cleric. "What are they doing?" She ran towards them and helped the cleric holding Selibas. "Hey, you must rest Seli, your wound hasn't healed yet." She sat beside him and circled her arm around his neck so he couldn't move away. Actually she felt a little embarrassed doing this.
"Why are you so persistent to get up?" She looked at the wounded novice.

Selibas couldn't explain why he had to get up. Once he saw Mana he stopped being angry. He sat on the mat and looked at her.
He tested if he would feel pain if he was angry again. He grasped for it but ended up brushing Mana's legs. He started to sit up to say he was sorry if he hurt her but she pushed him back down.
So the sword hadn't made him angry. He thought of the prophet but still no pain. But then he heard a soldier carrying supplies from his city laugh at MAna holding him and his chest felt ablaze with pain.

OoC: I'm going to continue this story elsewhere. The thread has served its purpose. The latest I'll have the thread up is tomorrow afternoon. Everyone who is involved in this thread, I'll contact you all via the chatbox.
Also, I'll just pretend I got my armor back. xD
IC:
Reylan sighed and looked up at the sky. The mission was a success, and there was nothing he could've wanted more. The satisfaction of a victory delighted him immensely. Turning to his comrades, he smiled.
"This was quite the rewarding experience. But there's still one question that remains: where do we go next? I'll join anyone who feels the need for me to accompany them."
Reylan paused, resting his gaze on Cebrail and Balthier. "You two have been excellent allies, as well as everyone else here. I'm truly grateful."
As he uttered those words, his mind shifted to Bridget. He discretely sneaked a glimpse of her as he spoke. She looked so much like one of his childhood friends, who had been tragically killed during an invasion. Putting his feelings for Bridget aside, he concluded his statement.
"So, I suppose we all have our own personal obligations to fufill. I'd like to bid anyone who is leaving a farewell, and may our paths cross again."
Glancing over his shoulder, Reylan smiled once again. A new journey was about to begin.
