Hey guys, this is an original Fire Emblem story I made. I can take character requests as I am in need of characters. No main characters though. I have those covered. Enjoy the introduction.
Fire Emblem Fortuna’s Rising Author’s Note: Hey everyone, it’s me drluiginursedaisy with an original story. Alright let me introduce you to the characters in this story. Also note this will be in a screenplay format meaning it’s meant to be acted out. Now then, let’s begin.
Four super nations cover the corners of the continent of Dalv. In the center there is a small kingdom that holds all the nations from having border disputes. The super nations are not friendly among other, so they are glad that the country that covers the boundaries disputes.
One of the four super nations is Xenia, home of pirates and thieves. Xenia has no actual government its split into smaller areas ruled by the local gangs. All have one goal, and it is to unite Xenia under their control. Businesses stay deep inland to avoid pirates of other nations and welcome the new leaders if the older leader has been defeated in battle.
The second super nation is Kratos, a loosely organized democratic government. Kratos recently had a revolution against a king. They read history about the United States Constitution and were inspired to do what the United States founding fathers had done. However, they opposed the thought of a strong central government, as they feared a revisit of a king. They had placed many Enlightenment thinkers such as Rousseau, Locke, Voltaire, and Montesquieu into their government. They named it Kratosian Unified Articles.
The third super nation is Yverra, a strong fascist government. Yverra was a “pure” nation. It persecuted many people as they were not the “pure” race. They believe “pure” was having blue hair and yellow eyes. Many people strongly agreed and aided in the search for the people that weren’t “pure”. Many escaped into the boundary disputing nation, Fortuna. Yverra had a strong military and instantly drafted everyone once they graduated from school. However, education wasn’t a priority to Yverra. The minimum amount of school needed is one year. The government used propaganda whenever they felt they had an advantage. The students that continued to study are marked as “gifted”. Normally they were the mages, and they were not “pure” in fear they dye their hair blue and blinded themselves to make it look like they couldn’t see. However, this did little to their accuracy of magic. They carried long range magic attacks and bombarded from afar.
The final super nation is Jeschrit, a holy nation. Jeschrit, known as the “Holy Land”, had two groups wanted to become the oligarchy government. This was the dispute between dark magic and light magic. Dark magic users called themselves as Hellbringers, whereas light magic users called themselves as Choloist. They would constantly fight for the capital they both work together on. The nation was split between them and war would break out. Coincidently, they agreed on making the nation’s name the same.
The four super nations had interior problems, but a small nation, otherwise known as “Border Disputing Crosslands”, was a fully developed kingdom. It welcomed foreigners and immigrants. Since, the nation was shaped similar to a cross, and they made it their symbolic flag. Attacking the nation’s capital was suicide; the capital was built on high mountain ranges making knights, cavalry, and many other ground units have difficulty trekking across. Pegasus and Wyeren Riders had fear of archers that shot at them. The mountains had many forts built on it and snipers are on duty for ten hours straight.
The nations had kept peace with one another and only dealt with their own problems. It was going to change as the small nation Fortuna makes it’s assault. //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Here are the main characters. I'll make a list of people that want to be in the story in a separate post.
Xenia Main Characters
Vyse – Leader (All main characters are lords) – Good (obviously) – Lance Bio: A strong leader of his territory, Vyse uses guerilla warfare tactics. He conquered many lands. After Fortuna made assaults on his conquered lands, he retaliates only to be defeated by the might of ballistic arrows. He reassembled this time rallying all of Xenia in hopes of defeating the Fortunians. However, even if he had conquered many territories of Xenia, he is a weak leader. The people think him not, but he is afraid to make a mistake in the battlefield.
Kratos Main Characters
Bisqu – High Official – Good – Music Bio: The representation of Kratos’s weak central government leader, Bisqu attempted to prove that a central government was necessary. He goes around Kratos to bring the states united.
Yverra Main Characters
Hile – Dictator – Good/Evil (This depends on your choice) – Axe Bio: A strong leader, that wants to cleans Dalv for only “pure” people. His sister rebels against him and making a threat to him.
Mia – Rebel Leader – Good/Evil (Again depending on your path) – Sword Bio: The younger sister of Hile, Mia is very open for people to be together. Her brother however opposes. She left him and started her own group. She rallied many people, mostly mages.
Jeschrit Main Characters
Alvaro – Bishop (NOTE: THIS IS NOT HIS CLASS) – Good/Evil – Light Magic Bio: Appointed Bishop after Fortuna attack, Alvaro was a peacekeeper. He wanted allies to support him. He wants to unify all of Jeschrit in favor of the Choloist.
Lev – Shaman (NOTE: THIS IS NOT HIS CLASS) – Good/Evil – Dark Magic Bio: A worshipper of Satan, Lev learned the teachings of the Hellbringers and was immediately exiled from his home of Choloist. He soon gain power and was appointed Shaman. His main goal is to take full control of Jeschrit.
Fortuna Main Characters
Michaelach – Lord – Good (In their perspective don’t forget) – Swords and Bows Bio: As a child, Michaelach studied archery until the age of 15, mainly because his father looked down upon archers. He soon was sparring with a sword, and it was terrible. Still, he had managed to excel in it when he was 17.

Now onward with the story.
Act 1 Scene 1 [Xenia]
Three months ago…
Enter Vyse and two other pirates.
Vyse, with a sigh: Fortuna’s army attack our territory. It is time we retaliate. Alert the troops. We are going to show those Fortunians not to mess with Vyse and his fellow members. We attack at dawn.
Pirate 1: Aye sir.
Vyse, now looking at the other pirate: What’s your name, lad?
Pirate 2: Err…Dan, sir.
Vyse: Dan, ehh? Well then, how well have you wield the axe?
Dan: Aye, I just got mine.
Vyse: I see they gave you the Hatchet. Try not to lose that, lad. You’ll only get that until you have enough to pay for another.
Dan, nodding: Aye, sir.
Vyse: Now, rest yourself. We strike at dawn.
Dan: Aye, sir.
At the brink of dawn, there stood Vyse and Dan running up towards him.
Dan: All troops ready for combat, sir.
Vyse, taking a breath: Aye, go to your station. He takes notice of Pegasus Knights and Wyvern Riders headed his way. Archers! Prepare to aim! He turns around to see a line of archers crouching and focusing. Fire at will! He draws out his Brave Axe, and notices the cavaliers charging in. Listen up men! Anyone that has a Halberd draw it out and charge towards the cavalry that’s arriving. The archers have you covered against the air units. I want people with Hand-Axes or Hatchets to assist the archers with range. The rest of you, charge with everything you got! CHARGE!
A massive uproar shouted and the clatter of metal collided. However, Fortunians have the upper hand. They brought in mages and they bombarded the war zone of fire, thunder, blizzard, and wind.
Vyse, covering his eyes from the harsh winds: We can’t win this battle. Drats. Fall Back! I repeat fall back!
His shout was a shock to everyone. They followed and then arrows started to fly.
Vyse, in horror: BALLISTAS! TAKE COVER! They got ballistians! His forces soon fell as the arrows landed. Many of his men escaping died by the arrows. He also fled along side his surviving troops. Men, we lost. You can go on from here, I have no right leading you. Dan, standing up: No, you were a great leader! We may have lost this battle, but if we have all of Xenia united, we may win this war. Other soldiers agreed and shouted for him. You are a great leader. Vyse, feeling honored: Fine then. I shall lead you! Onward let us unite Xenia!

Hey guys I'm back with another scene. REMEMBER THAT YOU CAN BE IN THIS STORY TOO! JUST ASK!
Also, I will be in this story so if you've wondered where did I get this character here is the answer.
Another thing PLEASE excuse my bad grammar.
Fire Emblem Fortuna’s Rising
Act 1 Scene 2 [Xenia]
Present Day…
Vyse, standing on Balst’s platform: Today, marks the final days of Xenia being divided and tomorrow marks the first day Xenia united. A crowd cheered. However, I will need a substantial force. Arm up and prepare to be part of the unity of Xenia!
People rose up and cheered. They walked back to their houses trying to find any supplies they can give or weapons they can fight with them.
Vyse, smiling: Dan, over here mate. Dan runs over. I find that I’m losing my skill at leading.
Dan, startled: How so, sir? He looks at him and then out to the crowd. You’ve lead us to many victories.
Vyse: Yes, but I’ve been losing more troops each fight. I keep losing them to ballistic arrows. Hit ‘n run tactics are useless. The troops I’ve trained are used to guerrilla warfare tatics. It’s hard to change now. It’s like the saying “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.”
Dan: I understand, sir. However, there is one person that the people keep talking about.
Vyse, turning to him: Really? Is he here?
Dan, shaking his head: No, sir. He left a day ago, from what I’ve heard. We might catch him in the last territory, Hoqute.
Vyse: Very well, then. What is he notable for?
Dan: The people say he is a thief that stole their belongings. However, when they heard his departure, they gave him a weapon and a Vulunary.
Vyse, surprised: He robbed the people, but they gave him a gift? Dan: Aye sir.
Vyse: I suppose we will find him in Hoqute?
Dan: Aye.
Vyse: Very well…Dan rally the forces. I need some privacy.
Dan: Yes, sir.
Dan leaves and Vyse walks into his quarters.
Vyse, looking at his plans: I can’t stand all this work! If only I had a tactician to aid me. He scratches his head, and sits down in his chair. He stared out from his window. Crowds gathered for his next speech. He looked at the map and noticed some open ballistae that have been there for years. This should be interesting. Dan!
Dan walks in.
Dan: Aye sir?
Vyse: How are you?
Dan: Err…I’m fine, sir. Why?
Vyse: Just wondering. How many archers do we have?
Dan: We only have fifty, sir.
Vyse, shocked: Only fifty? That’s unbelievable.
Dan: Aye sir, but it’s true.
Vyse: Very well…we still need to head out. I’ll try a new strategy. We’ll divide the armies into four squads. I’ll lead the first and second squad. He begins to pace back and forth. Dan, you will lead the third squad. The forth squad is mainly consists of the new recruits and peasants. They will stay and until they’re called by one of our soldiers.
Dan: Aye, sir. Shall I make the preparations?
Vyse: Yes, give me half the archers, and knights. That’s all I need.
Dan: On it.
After much commotion, Vyse steps out of his quarters and stands on the platform.
Vyse: I will bring a portion of the army into combat. Then the rest will follow. Let’s do this. My assistant, Dan, will aid the rest of you. I need all the knights, and half of the archers on this side.
The crowd soon was moving from one side to another listening to Dan as he organized them. Soon, it was set.
Vyse, point at one group: You men will follow me, as you will be the first to attack. The rest will be under Dan’s control. Let’s move out. Knights up front, archers in the back; total victory draws near.
Vyse marches out with the troops and into the open plains of Xenia.
Hoqute, a metropolis harbor, houses many defense structures. Ballistae, a primary defense mechanism built in the center of the town to fire long-range arrows without harm. Some positioned outside, to alert the troops. They held many armies before the actual armies reinforced them.
Vyse was now going to try a different tactic. Using knights heavy armor as a shield, they will push until they can seize the outer ballistae.
The sound of arrows was heard across the fields and a storm of arrows was hailing upon them. The knights help cover the archers as they pressed forward. Vyse, taking out his prized lance, Tiavol, rushes to one of the ballistae. He stabs the archer inside and tosses him out.
Vyse, shouting: Archers! Take these ballistae! They are essential towards our victory. Knights continue to shield them until they can reach them.
Inside Hoqute’s walls…
Man: Oi! Hoqute’s being attack! I have to get out of here!
Soldier, pointing at him: You there! Aid us in this battle, if you love your life.
Man: Why not? This will be fun. Who is attacking?
Soldier: The great leader Vyse, he plans to unify all of Xenia under his rule. However, General Sulev disapproves as it is his goal as well.
Man: If you say so…
Soldier: What is your name, lad?
Man: My name? It’s Sven, thief at your service.
Soldier: Alright Sven, out you go. You are the front lines.
Sven: Oi! Wait! Oh crud!
Near the town gates…
Vyse, standing on a tower: Hmm? He looks at one of the soldiers tossing a man into the front gate. Is that the thief people talk about? He climbs down the tower and runs over to the front gate. Knights! Storm your way in!
The knights soon were moving a battering ram into the gates. It broke open after two hits.
Vyse, holding his hand in front of his soldiers: Halt. He walks over to the young man. His appearance was obviously a thief. Dressed in rag-tag clothing was the obvious. His hair was different. He had a blend of green hair and red highlight. I you wish to live, let me speak to you. You knights go on and attack any soldiers. The knights moved on and the man and Vyse were left. Now, state your name.
Man: I’m Sven.
Vyse: Sven, are you the legend that the people of Balst speak of?
Sven: Yes, I’ve known them my entire childhood. I stole their stuff, that’s why.
Vyse: Never mind that. I come to help you.
Sven: Help me with what?
Dan’s troops soon arrived and Dan runs up to them.
Dan: Vyse…I’ve arrived with the rest of the…He turns to Sven. Sven?
Sven, looking speechless: Dan? He could help but bear a smile.
Dan, bursting out with joy: Sven! It’s been years!
Sven: Unbelievable! So, you’re a pirate like you dream to be.
Dan: Indeed. I FINISHED Navigations Schooling six months ago.
Sven: Yea…I know what you mean. I dropped for a good cause.
Dan: What cause? Honestly Sven, I know you. Help us in battle. Help us defeat the Fortunians and finally unify all of Xenia.
Sven: Yea, but…
Dan: No, exceptions. I’ll kill you now if you refuse. Readying his hatchet. I won’t hold back.
Sven: Oh, all right. You got me. I’ll help you.
Vyse, feeling a bit left out: Now that we got that settled. Let’s finally unify Xenia.
Dan: Aye, sir.
Sven: Count me in!
The three of them ran into battle. The battle was over. Vyse’s forces stood victorious. Finally, Xenia unified under Vyse’s command.
Vyse spent the next few weeks organizing the country into a suitable kingdom. He was crowned king. He made Xenia have a national flag, a star for a symbol of unity.
Dan continued to serve under Vyse, and was the sea commander. He was well known through out the nation and monitored the ports.
Sven after the heated minor dispute that he and Dan had, he stayed in Xenia serving Vyse as a recon leader. He still wants to travel.
Vyse’s troubles aren’t over, Fortuna is still marching their way deeper into Xenia. A new chapter is about to be written in Xenia’s history.
Over 6,000 people died in the failed retaliation that Vyse lead. They were given a formal burial ceremony and are honor to this day.
During Vyse conquest to unite all of Xenia, almost 9,021 Xenians were killed, primarily coming from the final conquest of Hoqute.
About 371 animals died during the battle at Hoqute, catapults lobbed them. Vyse made a decree not to use catapults. The 371 animals were blessed and then were roasted for the party that Vyse held for everyone. No one but the cooks and priests knew about it.

Fire Emblem Fortuna’s Rising [Xenia] Act 2 Scene 1
Meque, a town in Xenia. Three people exit the town.
1st Person: Come guys! We have to check if Fortuna is near. We didn’t enlisted as the town’s watchmen for nothing. 2nd Person: I know…but I’m afraid of them catching us. 3rd Person: Brye, chill out. You’re a Myrmidon, so you would be able to get away the fastest.
Brye, a young lad that join the town’s watchmen and has lots of potential. He has a fear of being held hostage.
Brye: Then what about you, Striker? You are the fastest out of all of us.
Striker, the oldest, is an assassin. Considerably very flexible, and can out run many cavaliers. He always wields a Poison Sword, for he loves to see his enemies suffer.
Striker: Ehh, but you are more important. Your dad will kill me if you get near death. Brye: My dad is over protective of me. 1st Person: Guys, look. Brye: What is it Devin?
Devin, the leader of the town’s watchmen, is a cavalier. Devin has a preference for lances than swords however he likes to keep a sword just for those axe-wielders.
Devin: Fortunians.
He pointed to the small group of Fortunian soldiers.
Devin: We can take them out. Ready, fellas? Brye: No. Striker: It’ll be a quick snap.
Devin mounted on his horse, Striker readied his Poison Sword, and Brye just took a step back. Devin faced-palmed.
Devin: Come on, Brye. Brye: Fine… Devin: There are only three of them so we can take one each. He pulls out his lance. Attack.
The three of them charge at the Fortunian soldiers. They were caught unaware when two more units arrived. Both were knights.
Devin: Did not expect that! Ack! Striker: No problem. I can take them out with ease.
He jumps and holds one of the knight’s head with his legs and does a head butt that bends the knight’s head so far back that it snaps. Brye freaked.
Soldier: What are you? Striker: An assassin. He jumped forward and using his legs only to rip half of the soldier’s body. The other soldiers looked in fear and ran. They were stopped by Devin’s javelin. Devin: You went a bit hardcore. Brye: Beyond that… Striker: I can’t help it.
A man was hiding behind some trees and walked out to greet them.
Devin: Who are you? Man: You do not need to worry. I come here from a message from the King Vyse. He is recruiting people that have combat skills. Do you want to aid him? Brye: How do you know King Vyse? Man: I have some relation to his Majesty. Striker: Very well, we accept. Man: Good, go and head on to Beteil. He will be giving a speech there. He quickly walked back into the trees. Devin: Well…what do you think? Brye: I don’t know…there is something strange about that man.
Striker looked at the horizon. He then smiled.
Striker: Whatever it is, I’m glad I can get out of here. Devin: I guess you’re right. Say, Brye aren’t you happy you will be out of the town’s watchmen? Brye: No, because now I have to be in the army. Devin: Not to worry, I’m sure it will be great. Come on. Let’s head back to the town and report the news.
The trio made their way back into the village greeted with people. They told them of the stories of the man and the King Vyse voluntary recruitment.

Fire Emblem Fortuna’s Rising
[Xenia] Act 2 Scene 2
In Beteil…
Vyse: It’s been a while since I had any lance practice. Heh, Sven is off to look for more recruits, Dan is at sea. I have the entire castle to myself without any…
Sven enters.
Sven: Vyse, knock it off. Vyse jumps. I got a few more recruits for the army. Vyse: Ah…great. Are they outside? Sven: They should be here any moment. We have thousands that want to join. However, only few will be part of the Xenian League. Vyse: Yes, this consists of many skill warriors. Is the obstacle course set? Sven: Yes. Vyse: Alright let’s roll.
Outside near a death field. Devin, Striker, and Brye enter with thousands of others.
Brye: Wow, these guys are all for the Xenian Army. Devin: Believe so.
Vyse enters and stands on a platform.
Vyse: People of Xenia. You’ve been chosen to be part of the Xenian Army. Some of you you, however will be selected to the Xenian League. That group will be lead by Sven, Dan, who is not present now, and me. Now you will go through this obstacle course and we will see if you can be in the Xenian League. I bid you good luck.
Recruit #1: I’m so going to get in! Recruit #2: I’d like to see you try. Recruit #1: Fine, I will.
The first recruit enters the ring and he sees Vyse on the other side.
Vyse: You have to get to me in order to complete the challenge. Begin! Recruit #1: This has to be a trick. He begins to walk forward. This is quite to eas…wahh!!!! A giant log smacked him out of the ring. Recruit #2: Oh god…this is going to be hard. Luckily, I’m a Myrmidon so I will be able to dodge that. I’m next. He enters the ring and quickly jumps over the log. No proble….WAAAAAHHH!!! He lands to fall in a ground trap. Recruit #3: I’ll be more aware than them! Here I go! He jumps over the log and slid over the ground trap. He noticed that there are weapons laid on the ground. He picks up a lance. It must be a fight against a…Pegasus Knight? Wait…these weapons are rubber! Oh, I see, I must defeat him to move on. Prepare to meet your doom! Yah! He charges at them only to miss and countered by the Pegasus Knight. The Pegasus Knight swooping and knocked the recruit over. Drats! Vyse: This is terrible…
Many others fell to the Pegasus Knight. It was Devin’s turn to perform. He successfully pass the first two tasks now was the Pegasus Knight. He chose the lance, as it was his preference. Many people were watching him as he was soon to face the Pegasus Knight.
Devin: Prepare to meet the might of Devin, the Cavalier. He mounted on his horse and waited for the Pegasus Knight to attack. However, Devin made a surprising move. Instead, of charging forward he threw the lance at the Pegasus Knight. It caught the rider off guard and made him fell off. Yes! Vyse: Impressive. Brye: Go Devin! Striker: You’re next. They made me go last… Brye: Really? That’s odd. Vyse: Devin, you are part of the Xenian League.s Devin: Thank you, your Majesty. Vyse: No problem, dog.
Sven face-palmed when Vyse said “Dog”. More recruits attempted and failed. Brye was next and successfully out maneuvered the Pegasus Knight. Vyse accepted him and then near the end of the line was Striker. When it got to him he quickly made no time lost to face the Pegasus Knight.
Striker: Give up now, so I don’t embarrass you. He didn’t choose a weapon from the ground. Vyse leaned in to see what would Striker do. I give you five seconds to surrender. 5…6…7…8…9…10. Times up. Striker never liked counting down in school there he counted upwards. He jumped forwards and ran on the lance of the rider. He grabbed his head and gave a 360 degrees turn. He then held the body steady to use his fist and pierce straight to the stomach. Striker’s hand appeared and he moved upward to split the skull in two. The rider was slaughtered with only Striker’s hands. Vyse was shocked, Sven stared at Striker, and Dan enters.
Dan: Hey, guys I’m back from my…HOOOOOLLLLY SON OF A JESCHRIT!

Fire Emblem Fortuna’s Rising [Xenia] Act 2 Scene 3
Betiel training grounds headquarters…
Vyse: Sven, only three passed the test? Sven: Yes. Vyse: Well, I think six people should be able to take out the first fort that the Fortunians hold. Sven: I’ve scouted that area, it’s lightly defended. Dan: Which, means that we can strike it. Vyse: Yes, this will be the ultimately the first test of the Xenian League. Sven: I’ll tell them. Vyse: No, do not debrief them on the mission. Let them have a day’s break. Sven: Yes, sir.
In the dorms…
Devin: Ahh, I can’t believe we all made it into the Xenian League. Striker: I like that Sven guy, he is very agile. Brye: Uhmm…Devin, can I talk to you in private? Striker: I’ll leave. Devin: What is it that you want to talk about? Brye: Well…he closes the door…I want to say something for a long time. I think it’s time I told you. Devin: Well spit it out, Brye.
Brye pushed Devin onto the bed and kissed him. Devin immediately pushed back and looked at Brye.
Devin: What in the bloody hell was that? Brye: Well…I…I love you, Devin. Ever since we were kids, you’ve been there to protect me. I never wanted to say this to you before but I knew it had to say it one day. Devin: I…I don’t know what to say. Brye: Please, Devin don’t leave me! He started crying. Don’t leave me. Devin: Please, leave this room. He pointed to the door without looking at Brye.
Brye soon felt upset and heartbroken and ran out the door crying. Striker was being a ninja and stealing some food from the kitchen.
Devin, muttering: I’m sorry Brye.
The next day…
Vyse: The breath of fresh air. Sven: That’s going to be filled with blood. Vyse: Err…yea. Sven: Shall I go debrief them? Vyse: Yes. Dan and I will be waiting. Sven: Yes, sir.
Dorms…
Brye, dreaming:
Devin: I love you, Brye. Brye: Really? Devin: Will this prove it? Devin leans in and pressed his lips on Brye.
Brye waking up from the dream.
Brye: It was only a dream… Sven: Wake up! It’s time for debriefing. Devin, yawning: What’s seems to be the mission? Striker, mono-toned: Our first mission? Yay? Sven: We will be attacking one of the forts that Fortuna holds. It’s not heavily defend so it should be a breeze. Striker, mono-toned: Yay, killing time. Sven: I want you all out of the beds when the third Pegasus flies. That is all. Devin: The first mission should be easy. I mean we are covered by the Xenian army so it’s no problem. Right, Brye? Brye: Uh..yea…right. Striker, rubbing his head: Don’t try to jump out of bed. It hurts your head. Devin: It was a figure of speech, Striker. Striker: Sure it is.

Fire Emblem Fortuna’s Rising [Xenia] Act 2 Scene 4
Fort Winops, a town nearby…
Old Man: Lina! You must not go! It’s far too dangerous out there. The Fortunians will capture you! Lina: Father, I must. I have word that the Xenian Army is arriving,
Lina, a Pegasus Knight, has luscious hair. No man can resist her beauty. She has no intention of being beautiful, as it was natural, she prefers to hide it. She rides with glory and has potential.
Old Man: You shall stay here, young lady. Lina: Father, I am a fair girl, nineteen of age…however single. Let me go. Old Man: Alright…but I must send someone with you. Lina: Please, Father not him. Old Man: I must, Lev! Lev: Yes, Father?
Lev, a Recon Fighter, is Lina’s religious family cousin. Lev was adopted into the family, after the Fortunian killed his parents on escaping the borderlines. He manage to get away, however in cost of his parents. He was hungry and exhausted, and soon pass out, out on the open meadows. Lina doing her daily sky runs found him and brought him back to the town’s church.
Old Man: You are to assist Lina, in every means possible. Lev: It be my pleasure. Well, cousin, we are off. Lina: Don’t get me started, Lev…ugh…come on.
Fort Winops, south of the town…
Vyse: Xenian League! Look out on the meadows. Perfect day. Devin: Where are the other troops? Vyse: Ah, yes. I’ve sent the Xenian Army else where to battle. Devin: There are only six of us! Vyse: I know, we have the potential to conquer this fort. I have a feeling that the townspeople will aid us. Devin: If you say so. Vyse: Come now. Let’s take this fort!
Fort Winops’s gates…
Fortunian Soldier: General Suliven! We have sighted Xenians. It might be a scouting party. Suliven: Ehh? They choose to attack this fort? Heh, little do they know that this fort was reinforced during the night. Let’s see them take on the Fortunians. Men, battle stations!
At a hill side…
Sven: Vyse, I’ve scouted that the Fortunians are mounting an attack…I recommend that we have a flank party to get rid of the archers. Striker: Leave that to me. Sven: I said ‘Party’ Striker. Striker: Then I choose you to be in my party. Sven: What? Striker: You and me. Party. Sven: Uh…okay… Striker: Yay, now let’s move Sven: Sure…huh? Oh hey! Wait for me!
Vyse: How do you deal with him, Devin? Devin: He’s not like that around us. Vyse: Huh, anyways. Let’s go. Devin: I’ll go and head for the town. Vyse: Wait. Take me there. They won’t recognize you. Devin: Fine. I’ll take you there. Vyse: Great. Dan and Brye. Work together. Brye: uh…okay… Dan: Aye, sir! Readying his Hand-Axe, that was polished by him that morning. Alright Brye, let’s do this. They have primarily soldiers that wields axes and lances. Brye: Sure… Dan: Then let’s…CHARGE!
Near the town…
Devin: You’re here, your Majesty. Vyse: Huh? Oh right, don’t call me that. Address by my first name is good enough. Devin: Really? Alright then Vyse. Vyse: No problem. Now let’s see what this town has.
In the town… Old Man: Look! It’s the king! Vyse: Citizens. I’ve come here to warn you that Fortuna might be raiding this town for goods. Old Man: Oh are they! Hurry! We will close the gates on your way out. Thank you so much. Vyse: It’s no problem. Voice: Hey! Wait for us!
Vyse turns around to see a young girl running towards him. He stares at her and daze. She notices and walks up and slaps Vyse right across the face.
Voice: Don’t every look at me like that! Vyse: Oww…alright…anyways what do you want? Voice: Perhaps an introduction would be polite? I’m Lina, a Pegasus Knight. Vyse: A Pegasus Knight? That’s what we need. You are more than welcome to the party. Devin: You just said that so you can stare at her chest didn’t you? Vyse: Of course not! I’m doing professional recruiting here. Welcome to the Xenian League. Voice #2: Hey! Lina wait up…*gasp* Vyse: Who is that? Lina: Lev…my cousin religiously… Lev: Woo…Thank you…hello…I’m Lev…a…Recon Fighter. Vyse: Well it’s great to have you. Welcome to the Xenian League. Lev: Yes…whew… Vyse: Now let’s take that fort down.
Meanwhile at Fort Winops…
Fortunian Soldier: General Suliven! The Xenians are at the nearby town. They are trying to rally the forces. We can take them out by surprise! Suliven: Silence! We will take them out of sheer force! We have no need for any childish plays. I am a Knight! When I was training we go with brute force! Now, go out there and out number them! No need for tactics! Fortunian Soldier: Yes…sir…
Outside the back of the fort…
Sven: Alright, Striker…we can take those guards out with ease. Just need to…huh…Striker? He looks around.
Sven hears a crack, and sees two soldier fall to the floor.
Sven: Dear lord… Striker: *hic* What? *hic* I wasn’t *hic* drunk. *hic* Sven: Then let’s go…He unlocks the front gate. Let’s roll. Striker: *hic* Yayyyyyyy. Fortunian Soldier: Hmm? He looks at the slaughtered guards. AH! Intruder Alert! Intruder Alert! He rang many bells. Suliven: Ehh? How? They broke in? Assemble! They must have been making a false direct attack! Grr…Still they will have to get around the Knights that guard the doors.
On the way to Fort Winops…
Vyse: Hmm? Looks like Sven and Striker broke in. Man: HOLD IT! Vyse: Yes? Man: It looks like you need some extra members. Vyse: We have more than enough but you’re welcome to join. What’s your name? Man: Me? Heh, I’m Sarge! A Fighter, you ask me to kill I’ll do it for you! Vyse: Well, I think we need a supply of Axemen. Welcome to the team, Sarge.
Sarge, a Fighter, grew up as a lumberjack. His family tradition had done this task for years. He now is wanting to use those skills in fighting Fortuna.
Brye: Hello, I’m Brye. Sarge: Ehh? Oh, hello lad. Why are you down? Brye: Oh well…I kind of confess to someone I like and they’re ignoring me. Sarge: Ah, love…I see. Who is the lucky gal? Brye: Well…it’s… Sarge: Spit it out would, lad. We don’t have all day. Brye: It’s a guy, that I like. Sarge: Whaa? Did ya ma drop you? I’ll be sure to change you straight. Brye: But… Sarge: No buts! A real man would go wild with a girl! Brye: Uhmm…okay… Vyse: Hey, we’re leaving you behind if you keep chatting! Sarge: A little introduction to the other members would be nice! Vyse: Whatever, let’s go. Sarge: I’ll change you boy, I’ll change you. Brye: …
Inside Fort Winops…
Fortunian Soldier: Gahh! Sven: There’s too many of them! Striker: Keep going! We need to open that front gate! Sven: Well, if we keep turning to a Knight every turn, we’ll be overrun. Striker: I got it! You go on! I’ll handle the foes in the way. Sven: Are you sure? Striker: I’ve been in worst situations. Sven: Alright. Wish you well! Striker: Heh, who’s ready to see a blood dance? Sven, at the gates: Almost…there! He sees Vyse and the others at a distance. Hey! It’s clear! Devin: I see him! Wait…where is Striker? I thought he was with him. Vyse: We’ll find out in a second. Let’s go! Charge! Lina: I’ll show you guys how strong I am. Lev: Wait! Lina! Sarge: Well, come on, lad! Let’s go! Brye: Uh…okay.
Inside Fort Winops…
Fortunian Soldier: Sir! The rest of the troops are charging! Suliven: Bah…what good are you soldiers! Defend the throne! Fortunian Soldier: Yes, sir…hey…who are you? Striker: Name’s Striker. I’m here to kill you. Fortunian Soldier: Eh? Heh, watch me do the killing. Yah!
Striker easily dodge and snapped the soldier’s neck.
Striker: You were saying? Fortunian Knight: There he is! Get him! Vyse: I don’t think so! Xenian League, attack!
Lina charges in and slams a mercenary in to a wall. Lev, being a Recon Fighter, takes out a sword and a lance.
Lev: I can dual wield. So here I go! He stabs and enemy with his lance and cutting another person’s head off with his sword. Devin: Heh, nothing can stop my horse! I ride it well! Vyse: Devin! Devin: What? Vyse: That’s what she said! Dan: Why, Vyse? Vyse: I can’t have a little comedy? Lina: You boys are so immature! Lev: A little help would be appreciated! Sarge: Yah! These fools don’t know how to fight against a Fighter! Their lances are weak again my Axe! Sven: Guys! On my way here I found a locked room, that has archers in it! Vyse: How do you know? Sven: They were shoot arrows at me. Vyse: Your point? Sven: They have treasures in here. Vyse: I see, let’s grab them. We don’t know if we will run out of supplies. Sven: Alright. Lina: There’s Knights coming! Lev: Do not worry, sis! I’ll…ouch!
A rock hit him. Some soldiers are rock throwers. Their class name is Earth Runners. They tend to be more of defense siege units. They have specially designed rocks to make them hit more targets. The spherical shapes will cause it to roll. They are uncommon and rarely trained.
Vyse: We can take them out no time.
They soon cleared a path towards the throne room of the fort. Suliven was waiting there.
Suliven: Ahh, you must be the Xenian leader? Vyse: Correct. Now are you ready to lose? Suliven: HA! You think you can last against me? Dan: We do have you out numbered. Suliven: Foolish fool! You think I wouldn’t be prepared?
Striker appears through a back door with two heads as his shoes.
Striker: Hey, you Fortunians need to learn how to brush your teeth. Suliven: What? You killed my back up troops by yourself? Striker: Uh…duh. Yayyyyyyy! Suliven: Still no matter! I can take you down! Take this!
He charges his lance straight to Striker’s stomach.
Striker: GAH! Heh, I guess this is good-bye. Suliven: Hah! Devin: Striker! NO! Brye: Striker, how could you be so careless! Vyse: It’s a sad loss… Dan: May the lord bless him. Sven, crying: Striker…you were my role model…How could you…
Striker trying to stand still. He holds on to Suliven’s lance.
Striker: Guys, I always wanted to tell you something… Devin: What is it? Striker: It’s something you might be relieved about… Brye: How can something relieve us when you are on the brink of death? Striker: It will…nghh…I wanted to say… Sven: It will mean nothing, you’re dying! Suliven: Can we move on without this drama? Vyse: NO! Suliven: Ugh… Striker: I wanted to say that…I will very much… Sven: Striker! Quit stalling and say it! Striker: I will very much be alive. Sven: How? Striker: The lance…it’s a fail. Yayyyyyyyy! Suliven: What?
Striker reveals under his cloak, it was a dead soldier’s body, and the lance was stuck to it.
Suliven: What? How… Striker: I was drunk, so I wanted to be sure I don’t get myself killed. I used a body and made a breast shield out of it. Yayyyyyyy! Suliven: But… Striker: Which means…I can kill you! Yayyyyyy!
Striker running on the lance impales his sword into Suliven’s head. During that he did a backflip.
Suliven: No…how did I…ngh…
Suliven fell to the floor. Everyone was shocked. Devin was the first.
Striker: Yayyyyyyy! Devin: Striker, you son of a Jeschrit! You had me scared there! Striker: I was drunk. Brye: Don’t do it again! Striker: Pauses for a minute…Kay. Sven: Striker…you have guts to pull that stunt. It’s good to see that you have a sense of physical humor… Striker: Yayyyyyyy. He looks at Suliven. Oh, can I keep him? Please? Can I? Vyse: I guess it wouldn’t hurt… Striker: Yayyyyyyy!s Vyse: We successfully conquered our first fort on pushing back Fortuna. We are going to other countries to aid them. On the other note…We have three new recruits. Lina, the Pegasus Knight. Lev, the Recon Fighter. Finally Sarge, the Fighter. Welcome all three of you. Lina: It will be a pleasure. Lev: Awesome. Sarge: I’m glad I can help. Dan: So, we liberated this fort. What now? Vyse: We rest up. We are heading towards another town that Fortuna holds. We can rest up there as well. Lina: Wait! There is an inn at the town you can stay there. Lev: Excellent idea Lina. Vyse: It’s settle we’ll stay at the town for the night. Dan: Sweet. Sven: So Striker, why were you drunk in the first place? Striker: Well, I stole some food from the kitchen back at the training grounds and I took little sake and wine. Sven: Really? Striker: Fine, a lot. Sven: How did you manage to kill without hurting yourself? Striker: I trained myself to stay focus even when drunk. Sven: You have to teach me that. Striker: I won’t. It comes naturally. Sven: What do you mean? Striker: All thieves are trained to become used to the drinking. Sven: Alright then. How about a drinking contest? First person to pass out has to pay the bill. Got it? Striker: Heh, no problem.
Later that night at the inn, Sven and Striker had their drinking contest, Striker won. Sven, of course, had to wash dishes to pay for the bill. It was a cherish night to remember. The Xenian League, Xenia’s finest soldiers.
