Aaron was miserable. He'd been worried that he'd end up being sea sick and- oh, wait a minute. He's hanging over the side again, and emptying the scant contents of his stomach over the railing.... Ewww.
Aaron groaned again, as his stomach settled temporarily, grabbing on for dear life as a sudden wave nearly rocked him completely out of the boat.
"Geheheh, don't worry Laddy. Can't last forever. You'll have yer sealegs b'for... well, b'for ye get to Bern anyway. Now stop yer hurlin on th' ropes."
The Green-haired mage just managed to catch a glimpse of the speaker's grin, one missing a few teeth, before he slid himself down the rail again. It was unfortunate really. Even his horse wasn't getting seasick, all the way down in the hold. Tricky business transporting horses, but these able crewmen seemed to know what they were about.
"Ohhhh....Where is a heal staff when you need one?"

"I wish I knew..." replied Gwen, losing more of her lunch over the side of the ship. For once, she was glad Rayl wasn't around. Sure, he could comfort her in some way, but she preferred not to have him seeing her throw up so much. What luck, only her and this mage were the only ones who got seasick. She shook her head. What are the chances. Speaking of which...
"I don't think we've been properly introduced. I'm Lady Guinevere de Altberg, but you can just call me Gwen." She gave the mage a weak smile before her face went green again and she had to duck over the side. Reappearing, she smiled weakly again. "I'd offer to shake your hand but I think for both our sakes it would be better not to."

Inigo was at the front of the ship, having just been coaxed into climbing back onto safer footing: He'd been standing at the far tip of the bow, taking in a deep breath of the salty air. he had his family escape out from Etruria by ship, smuggling what they could through privateers...Ostian Privateers, actually. While the thoughts of leaving his home had troubled him, he had enjoyed the the trip and the momentary leave it gave him: it reminded him of his trip into the Sacaen Wilderness all those years back. Turning back around, wind flying through his flow-y pale blond hair, he looked over to the green haired Sir Winsett and Little Gwenie, both keeling over like two...vegetarians forced to eat meatloaf? He could hardly think of an analogy, as he walked by giving them each a light pat on the back:
"Oh come now! You're on the adventure of a life time kids! Who knows what awaits us! Sea Serpents! Pirates! Ilians! Ha ha!" with this, he made his leave of the two, and began climbing up a ladder on the mast to the Crow's Nest, much to the dismay of the crew: Sure he was in a better, and less suspicion-filled mood, but still...

Sabin watched as Aaron and the blonde mage starting throwing up on the sides of the ship. Sabin was used to the sea, after all, he was a pirate. He saw both of them, and had a warm feeling inside. Those two really did make a good couple, with the vomiting and all.
And he was wondering where that mae-boy Jade ran off to, or that purple-headed freak Grayson. Those two normally argued with each other, but why didn't he hear any of their pouting?
He watched as the two seasick people lamented over their fate with the ship. The blonde-haired woman introduced herself as Guinevere de Altberg. Ah... the Altberg family....he and his mates used to ship bread from that place regularly to the Western Isles. The food from their bakery was really good.
And then he watched as that Inigo fellow talked about great adventures and seeing sea serpents and pirates. Man, that guy was funny, Sabin just wanted to laugh hard, but he restrained himself.
He decided to bring to bottles of firewhisky. It was always fun to drink on a ship. " Hey, anyone want some firewhisky?" he asked.

"Heheh! Guess we didn't meet those pirate pals of yours after all!", Jade whispered to Binnie after sneaking up behind him.
Jade was not seasick. Instead, he was in an excitable mood. This reminded him of the few times where his parents had hired Binnie's service to ship a few things over and back. Jade had been on the ship a few times, and the experience now was as fun and exciting as the first time he had been on a ship.
"No, I wouldn't want some firewhiskey!"

OoC: The "window" flying through his flow-y pale blond hair, Inigo? lol That's an interesting picture.
"Gwen. I wish we'd been introduced under more pleasant circumstances." Aaron finally set himself down, leaning up against the railing with his legs stretched out in front of him. For the moment at least, he seemed to have finished sicking up. He'd always heard that some people just took longer to get used to the sea's motion. If that was so, he hoped it wouldn't be more than a few more hours for him.
"Ugh... I'm Aaron Winsett. Traveling mage, and..." He rolled his eyes u towards the rigging, and gestured weakly with his hand. "Seasick traveler." He'd tried to keep things light, as he always did, but it was hard to do that when your voice was more of a croak.
Aaron heard Sir Inigo come up, and... was that his attempt at encouraging them? Didn't sound like an encouraging list of things to this mage. Then the excited swordsman went off to climb the rigging on the main mast.
Nearby, Sabin seemed to be enjoying himself. He wasn't troubled by the waves at all."Firewhiskey? I think I'd rather die first." C'mon Aaron, get it together! fire spells are some of the most powerful spells in an arsenal at sea..
A moment later he was heaving over the rail once again, but he didn't feel quite so sick afterwards. Maybe he was starting to settle after all.

Grayson couldn't believe it! He was actually on a sailing ship set for a foreign land! He would never have imagined he would be doing this in several lifetimes had he not left home. Grayson found it hard to stand still and spent a lot of his time on board the privateer ship (Or at least he pretended it was a privateer ship. He didn't know if ti actually was or not.) running around and looking over the railing at the stunning blue water. Aaron and the blonde girl were losing their respective lunches behind him. He wondered why this was. Could sailing really make you sick?
Grayson attempted to walk over to the two and try to help them and maybe find out why they were so ill. Unfortunately, the ship hit a particularly rough spot of ocean and Grayson lost his footing.
"Woah woah woaooooah!" Grayson yelped as he fell over on to his backside and slid into a crewman. He apologized to the man and stood back up. He carefully stepped over to Aaron and the woman this time.
"So you have fallen ill? Why is this, Aaron? Can the sea really make people sick?" he asked with much curiosity.

The mustache with a human attached was off caring for Gwennie and Aaron. The two must not travel at sea often, though you could of fooled him with all the retching and the smell of vomit mixing violently with the sea air. Still it was kinda quaint in it's own way, it made things not seem as serious as they really were. It was enough to make Roland smile, well Roland usually smiled anyway, this just made it more genuine and less smug looking.
He was sitting on a few crates laying on the ship's deck, this was not his first trip to sea, he's gained his sea legs many years ago. Her heard Sabin shout out if anyone wanted a drink. Ohohoho, that wasn't an offer Roland could turn down. "Over here Sabin, I'll take you up on that offer." He called, hopping off his stool and walking over. "I haven't had a good drink since I left Etruria, commanders get prissy when they realize their soldiers are drunk." He also really hadn't had the cash to nab any in Lycia, he was broke when he arrived at Rayl's estate. It's nice to know everything has a way of working out in the end though.

Gwen gave a smile and nod. "It's nice to meet you, Aaron. Hopefully we can get to know each other better once all this stops..." She swiftly ducked out of sight and produced some noises before reappearing. "Hopefully it stops sooner than later... I hate being sick like this." She shook her head, which was a bad idea, because she had to duck out of sight again. This time, when she reappeared, she finally was feeling better. "Oh, there we go, that's much better..." She used a handkerchief to clean anything around her mouth and took a deep breath. "Much better. I feel like we should find a better place to sit so we don't become sick again."

" Hehe, Roland! You're welcome to join me on this little fun! Drinking is just sweet!" he said, drinking more of the firewhisky.
Ah. Th firewhisky tasted so sweet,it made Sabin so excited.. he just wished he jumped up in joy and swing his axe around.
He was about to do that.
"Hey Roland.. dont you feel like running aroun singing songs about daisies while swinging that big sword of yours? Well, I think I'm going to go about and swing widly. I feel like breaking stuff." he said sheepishly.
And he was off! The first thing he did was jump high in the air..... and fall flat on the deck, causing a small hole. He regained a bit of his conciousness, although still in a silly mood for now, he went near Aaron.
"Ah, the beautiful sea. Well Aaron, I think you should stop thinking about vomiting, then you won't be seasick. Here, have some whisky!" saying so, he clasped Aaron hard on the back and handed him over a bottle.
Sabin probably should not have done that.

Roland cocked an eyebrow and suspiciously examined the bottle. Either this had something in it, or contrary to appearances Sabin couldn't hold his whiskey. It's one thing to get drunk, it's another to get drunk over the course of a few seconds so you're running around and jumping everywhere. Roland drank his alcohol with a poker face, smacked at the air a few times, then drank again. "Strong stuff. Sweet but burns on the way down." Guess that's why it's 'fire' whiskey. "I haven't had a brew like this in a long time." The alcohol had yet to buzz in Roland's head, but if he continued to drink it would surely do so. "Not particularly, no." Roland answered deadpan, was he serious or was that the alcohol talking?
While Sabin accosted Aaron and tried to coerce him to drink, Roland figured he might as well try talking to Gwen again. He took another swig, shuddered slightly as it went down and shook his head violently, ending with a content 'ah'. Sliding over, he saw the seasick girl and he tried to give her an easy grin. "I used to get seasick too. When you're feeling better, try to stay in the middle of the ship, there's less swaying." He gestured to the middle of the ship, bottle of alcohol still in hand. "I would offer you a drink, but I don't think that would help you much right about now.

Grayson seemed a bit annoyed that he was being ignored once more. Why does no one seen to notice when he's talking to them? However, Aaron wasn't feeling well. Maybe it had something to do with that. Another bump in the sea jarred him forward into the railing and he, too, began to feel a bit ill.
"Well, then. I suppose that is -urp- question answered..." before he could get a chance to gag, though, Roland walked up with a bottle of something Grayson could smell from the other side of Aaron and the blonde woman. It smelled hideous, but it definitely took his mind off of his stomach. Grayson stepped gingerly to Roland.
"I usually prefer a nice red wine, maybe a port, but I'll give that -urp- whatever that is a try."

OoC: Lol. Give me more than a day to respond Grayson, and you won't be ignored next time.
"I'm not so sure I'm feeling better yet." Aaron said in response to Gwen. Oh, this was quite the picture. Half the Lycian scouting party hanging over the side of the ship throwing up, and another quarter jumping, and climbing about like loons. Where is Gabriel, anyway? He's probably off by himself somewhere, reading.
When Grayson asked why Aaron was sick, he took a few moments to answer. And a few more moments. And a few more. The constant rocking of the ship had disabled the mage's sense of balance. By the time he was ready to answer Grayson, the young man had apparently lost interest.
When Sabin came over, and started trying to force a jar of that concoction into his hands, Aaron grabbed hold of the railing and started to pull himself to his feet. He only had one thing to say to the man just then though. "Sabin, this is a very good chance to get yourself vomited on."
Ok, so maybe the mage was feeling a little better. Over all, he felt just a bit more steady, but he was still recovering from his tribulations. He was thirsty too, but for water. Not alcohol.

Jade laughed as he saw Binnie getting drunk and decided to explore the ship, which hopefully had a library where he could read books and leave this world for a few hours. Maybe he could even smuggle some books... Or maybe not...
Jade went into the lower decks and saw doors leading out from each side of the corridor. These were probably rooms for the sailors on the ship. Jade wasn't interested in finding out about their sleeping quarters, so he walked further into the corridor, reaching the end, then at the junction, walking to the right, entering the only room there. The room had a set of double doors.
Inside the room, Jade saw a few bookshelves filled with books to the ceiling. In the middle of the round room, there were a few tables and chairs. The chairs had cushions and looked elegant, with a red backing and gold edges. The person who planned the library must have had a love for books.
Well, Jade went over to a shelf, picked up a book titled "The Life of a Sailor" and sat down on the chair, starting to read.

He looked at the ridiculously haired man with a slightly suspicious look, but in the end shrugged with a slight meh look on his face. "I don't think you really should. Probably knock you right off the boat kid, or make you paint it with your insides." He took a final swig, god this had a kick to it, he was starting to feel a bit... inebriated. "But, if ya don't make dumb mistakes, ya'll just doit again later. Knock yerself out kid." He said with a slightly goofy look on his face and shoved the bottle into the Archer's hands.
"Hey! Aaron!" Roland called loudly. "If you're done showing the sea whatcha had fer breakfast, you should relly drink some wata!" He let out a guffaw of laughter. Throwing up was... it was a good way to get dehydrated. "I... I think there's some o'er there by... by the crates." Roland turned so his back was leaning on the railing, he looked over at the pretty Guinevere, wondering if she was too busy being sick to answer the man, or if she was ignoring him again like was last time. That reminded him... where did that little guy get off to? "Erm, Lady DeAltberg, right?" He looked with a smile, he probably looked really strange or atleast funny. "Ah think we tried ta talk earlier, but yer friend interrupted us."
