The sage grunted non-commitally as Saffra commented about having all the time in the world. She might not feel pressed for time, but to Aaron, every minute was being counted off. He got this feeling from time to time, as if he was being pulled along. Compelled to drive himself forward when prudence and caution was telling him to slow down and prepare.
Xavier, on the other hand, seemed to have made the fastest recovery in the world. It had the sage doubting whether the healer had even been in as much trouble as he had seemed to be.
Despite the offer, Aaron didn't expect that Xavier would be much use in learning light magic at all. He might not be a light mage, but he knew that staves were not of the same sort. As to Lilith teahing him, how was that even a consideration with her in her trouble!? It didn't even merit a response, but he gave one anyway.
"Xavier, I don't think that would be wise, given the state of things. We should just focus on getting out of these mountains for now."
Aaron continued onward, braving the mountains. Etruria was waiting. And Lilith.
OoC: Gonna make a new thread. Feel free to make a closing post here, or something.

OoC: Btw, I was referring to Aaron's teacher's friend in Etruria when I said friend.
BiC: Xavier nodded in response to what the mage had said. It probably might not be the best time to learn or dabble with the arcane arts at the moment. Not when the spirit they were trying to defeat now had a certain sort of power and hold over those who had arcane knowledge to a certain extent. But, even if it meant that he could learn to use magic in the future, Xavier didn't mind tagging along to help with the predicament the Mage was in. It might enable him to make a sort of research into the reaction between his Staff's powers and that of other sorts of magic.
As the mage walked on, he looked even more anxious to Xavier, Xavier made up his mind quick and fast. He decided to hurry on so that the mage's friend might be helped faster. It was also because the mage had looked so anxious about his friend that had made him decide to help the mage from the bottom of his heart now. Xavier picked up Ralph's reigns from the mage, said, "Let's hurry up to help your friend now, shall we?", and sped Ralph up and started his climb over the mountain range.
