Chelsea gave a little giggle. "I don't mean for them to be so hard, it's just what I can think of." She had had a feeling Isabel might like Val. Woman's intuition, call it. "For what it's worth, I think the two of you would make a really cute couple." They did seem like they'd be good together, but then again she had only seen limited interaction between them, so she could be completely off. Maybe she just felt guilty about what happened between her and Val and was just hoping he'd be able to find someone. "I'll be sure to try to keep my next question simpler. Next, however, is your turn. And by all means, make yours a hard one."

Isabel folded her arms for a moment as she thought. She... Seemed to have forgotten most of her questions amongst the smell of fish and horses... "Well, let's see. I've asked you what you know about Valcrist, but I haven't asked you how you know him. Would you mind shedding some light on that?" the shaman asked, uncrossing her arms. "And forgive me for asking another question before you get the opportunity to answer the previous one, but do you do much reading?"
Solomon turned his head away from the horse, and then silently padded his way over to Chelsea, where he curled around the woman's left foot and faked sleep. Isabel noticed her newfound pet, and sighed. "Sorry about Solomon... I've only had him for acouple hours, but this is keeping in character with what I know about him so far."

Chelsea smiled at the cat, lifting him gently into her lap and petting him softly. "It's alright, he's not hurting anyone." She raised her eyes from the cat to his owner. "I first met Val shortly after I met Kelvin. Val was working on Kelvin's family's farm. We visited there, like I mentioned, shortly after we met. After talking to Val a little bit, we convinced him to join the group we were in. We traveled together for a while before he left to continue his swordsmanship training. We've bumped into each other a few times since, but only for short period of times." She paused for a few seconds. "And I do enjoy reading, but I fear that I don't either have the time or any books to read."

Isabel found herself smiling (wow, she was a smiley person these days, wasn't she?) as Chelsea picked up Solomon and set the black cat on her lap, producing a low purr from said cat. The shaman listened quietly as the plainswoman described how she first met Valcrist, with him... Working on Kelvin's family farm. Huh. She wouldn't have guessed that one, that's for sure... And, when she answered the question about the books, Isabel looked into her bag. "I'm sure you'll come across a time when you need some reading material..." the self-proclaimed prodigy muttered. "Now where did that book... Aha!" With that shout of victory, Isabel produced a thick book from her bag. "If you want it, I finished it already... An interesting read. Complete fictional rubbish, of course, but it's entertaining. Good for passing the time while traveling." The sapphire-haired girl flipped the book onto it's side, where the title, The Journeys of Delgade, was written, and then, flipping it so that, if Chelsea opened it, it would be positioned in such a way that she wouldn't have to do a handstand to read it, handed it to the plainswoman. "Go on, take it."

Chelsea took a hand off Solomon and took the book from Isabel. "Thank you, I'll do my best to find time for it." She flipped through it a little bit. It seemed to be longer and any other book she had ever read, but it would be a nice challenge for her. Closing it, she reached over and slid it safely into Spirit's sidebag, before returning to petting the cat. He sure was a friendly animal. She looked back up at Isabel. "I wish I had something to give you in return, but all I really have are arrows." She paused awkwardly. "Did you have anymore questions?"

Isabel waved her hand, brushing the comment aside. "Don't worry about it. The book was really just weighing me down at this point... Maybe, one day, we'll cross paths again, and you can give me something then." The shaman stopped, and thought for a moment. "Actually... That does leave me with one last question. Where are you going now? I assume you'll stay with Kelvin, seeing as, you know... You're engaged. But that doesn't exactly tell me where you'll go next." The blue-haired girl raised one eyebrow questioningly, before her gaze was turned down to Solomon, purring in Chelsea's lap. Maybe... Maybe she had found a friend here. At the least, it was an acquaintance... But she would tell Calvin that it was a friend.

Chelsea had to admit it was a good question. Where were they going next? "Honestly, I'm not sure. I think Kelvin said he wanted to go back to where ever he was when we received my letter, but I'm not exactly sure where he was or what he was doing." She gave a little shrug. "I guess I'll find out when we get there." She smiled down at the cat again, scratching lightly behind one of his ears. He was a cute little thing. "What about you? I know you don't want to tell me what you're doing, but can you say where you're headed?"

"Ilia." Isabel said quietly, and then nodded her head. "Yeah, Ilia. Thrice-blasted winter wonderland country. The land of frostbite and blizzards." The shaman grinned. "That's one of the reasons I'm glad Valcrist got me that scarf." She stopped talking for a minute, and then rubbed her neck as she started to just mill about. Geez. She had that tingly feeling that you get when your leg falls asleep, only all over. "It'd be fun if you came along, but I doubt you'd want to do that. Heck, it'd be pretty awesome if Kelvin wanted to come, too... But you two... You two have fun doing what it is you do, okay? And don't die! I'll reverse haunt you if you do!"

Chelsea gave a little laugh. "Somehow, I don't think Val would be thrilled if I was there." She shook her head. "Nah, it's probably better I don't go. And don't worry about me," she gave a wink, "I'm a tough girl to kill. Don't you get yourself killed either. And look after Val for me, ok?" The archer stood up, carefully holding Solomon as she did. She took a few steps over towards Isabel before holding him out for her to take. "And watch this little guy too, ok? He's too cute to have anything happen to him."

Isabel chuckled. "If I can, I'll do whatever it takes to keep everyone alive. Although I'm traveling with Valorian, so that shouldn't be too hard... He's a good guy. And if I can, I'll keep Valcrist alive, too... Although something tells me he won't be coming with us." As she took back the black cat and put him on the ground by her leg, the shaman shifted her weight to her right leg, looking down at the cat. "Solomon? He can take care of himself, from what I've seen so far. He won't need my help to keep himself alive... Take care, Chelsea."
Isabel punched the nomad lightly in the shoulder, stood there for a moment, and then was off, Solomon padding along silently behind her.
