Alone, with a bag on his shoulders and a sword at his side, a traveler reaches another one of the many villages of Lycia after days of walking, talking to himself.
- Ahhh, here I am: Laus, finally. I hope to find some job here, maybe as guard or something like that. But! Important things first: time to refresh in the local inn. -
Arrived at the inn, he sits at the bar, looking around in search of beauties or something else worthy of his interest while waiting for the service.

Torman stirred in his sleep. He woke up groggily in the inn he had stayed in. He sat up and rubbed his eyes, then walked downstairs to the bad below. He had this nagging feeling that something was here and that he wouldn't really like it. He walked through the door and found he was right. He saw a man sitting at the counter, looking around with hungry eyes.
Great, an attention hog. Just what I needed. Torman thought as he sat down next to him. He watched the man look around.
"You missing something over there, chief," Torman asked the man.

Shugo had lost track of the time that had passed since he was imprisoned by the slave traders. On very rare occasion they had let him out of the cage to use the bathroom, but even then they keep a leash on him like a dog. Anger and hatred built in the young boy's heart.
During the time he spent with the slaves the woman who drove the cart he rode in began to take up calling him Fido an insult derived from the leash they placed on him while they let him out the cart. Amongst the six slavers she was the one he hated the most. Unlike the burly man who enjoyed beating him she enjoyed toying with his mind. She took great pleasure in seeing him struggle to get free. She would leave extra pieces of bread and cheese near his cage. She would place them close enough for Shugo to reach for, but too far away for him to actually reach. She even went as far as to place keys next to his cell, and got a twisted sense of enjoyment out of Shugo disappointed face when he discovered they were the wrong keys. Her habit of torture and abuse however lead to their down fall. One day she placed a key, like always, near Shugo's cage. At this point however Shugo had wised up. Instead of using the key on his door he instead ripped his shirt up into bands. He used the bands and the key to hook onto his lance that she moved into the cart, and pulled it closer.
Hearing the sound the burly man came to investigate the sound, and shugo was able to stab him in the neck with his spear. The attack was a sure kill, and the young shugo was able to escape with the key from his corpse. By the time the other slavers had returned Shugo had already left, and made his way to the nearby town of Luas.
"Help", shouted the boy as he stumbled into the inn shirtless. His body was covered in bruises and his eyes filled with fear.

- Mmh? -
Not even the time to reply the bear-man, that a worn child rushed in the inn. He was visibly shocked and was trembling with fear for some unknown reason.
- Man, that kid doesn't seem to be relaxed, I wonder wha... Oohh... -
Before his eyes, there was a beautiful young woman, perhaps she abandoned his seat worried for the little one.
- Holy Elimine, a true goddes... Gonna catch her attention... -
- Ehi kid, come here! I'll offer lunch. -
Saying so, Orlando took off his traveling cloack, ready to cover the child (all without taking his eyes from the girl of course) .

"Thank you", spoke Shugo as the man wrapped the cloak around him. The young boy could not help but notice his attention was on the maiden, but in truth Shugo did not care. All he wanted was some food in his stomach and a safe place to hide out till the slavers had passed. He did not care about this man's alterative motives. In truth however he was happy the man was interested in the woman. It meant he had not designs on him. The young boy was scared from his stay with the slavers, and trust was in short supply.
"Here have some water", spoke the woman as she handed young Shugo a cup. Shugo lifted this left hand and received the cup. He made sure not to let go of his lance. Mr. Lance was the only thing keeping the young boy alive. He saved him during the wolf attack, and when he put him down he was captured and almost sold into slavery. Shugo was not putting down his lance anytime soon.
As the boy received the water he made sure to smell it first. He did not want to pass out, and find himself in a cage again. Though he doubt that would happen here in a city, but still it was better to be safe than to be sorry. Shugo gulped down the water, and accepted the man's request to give him a meal.

Orlando was about to begin a speech, to explain how lucky the young boy was to find a hero like him. That was supposed to lead to one of his stories of epic fights and, with a little luck, he would have conquered the girl. That was the plan, until something unexpected happened...
"Don't worry: luckily he found that young man to help him. Let's return back to our table."
... A boyfriend.
- DAMN! Now, what am I supposed to do with him? -
Disappointed, he begins to look at the kid. Judging by the bruises, doesn't seem like he had a good time, probably he passed something much worse than a rejection.
- So... Are you going to eat while holding that spear? -
The child seems interesting anyway, maybe Orlando will not regret that lunch.
- By the way, I'm Orlando. - Shouldn't we wait for Torman to post?

OOC: Yeah thanks for skipping me guys. I'll play catch up for now.
Torman turned as the man ran off to check on a young boy who just ran in. Torman shot up to check on the boy as well. He kept a close eye on Orlando, who kept a close eye on a girl. Torman rolled his eyes. There were more pressing matters at hand.
"Someone get this boy something to eat and drink," the fighter called out. He began to take off his undersirt to give to the boy until he saw the man give him his cloak. He stopped and continued to study the boy. The man next to him began to speak, but he stopped sort, paused, then spoke his name. Orlando.
"I'm Torman," Torman added. He turned his attention to Orlando when the boy began to eat, "You didn't really answer my question, Orlando. Did you lose something over where you were looking?"
He hoped to pry out the swordsman's motives, but Torman could tell this man had an eye for beauty and it never closed.

OC: Sorry about that Torman, got a little post happy.
"Yes", spoke Shugo without looking up from his plate. He chomped away at the food as if he had never eaten before in his life. It had been a while since he actually had a decent meal. The only thing they feed him was bread and water.
He stopped for a momment and stared up at Orlando. "My name is Shugo, no I mean Shugoshi." Shugo always enjoyed adding the extra shi at the end of his name. He felt it made him sound more regal tough the boy was far from Royalty. He once gains buried his face into his plate. He finished off the food, and gulped down the last of the water.
"That was good", he spoke aloud. Free from the clutches of his plate he looked up and noticed Torman talking to Orlando. "Is he one of them", spoke Shugo to himself. The young boy had grown an aversion to bulky men. The first time he saw a man like Torman he was kidnapped and held in a bandit camp. The second time he spoke to a bulky man he was knocked out and thrown into a cage. Shugo was not planning on a third. The young boy slid across the table and positioned himself on the opposite end as Tormoan. He watched the burly man with extreme scrutiny. He was not going to be kidnapped again.
Shugo's concentration was broken when he heard a ring from the door.

Sorry Torman. I'll play ketchup for now (?) - Oh, nothing. Nothing at all. -
Orlando answered to Torman. He eared Shugo's presentation while taking a sip of the wine ordered, then continued.
- You see, I was just looking for something of some interest. Oh, and not only: I'm traveling looking for work. Preferably as mercenary or something like. So, Torman. You seem muscled, maybe you are a mercenary too? -

Shugo attention was no longer on Torman. All eyes were on the door, as he watched a new person enter. Through the door walked a woman in a dark dress. Her hair was a raven black, and ran down to her lower back. Her eyes were a ocean blue, and her skin was a milky white. In her hand she held a silk shirt along with a small pendent.
"Her", spoke Shugo as he hid under the table. He moved quickly as to not be seen by the new customers.
"Fido", shouted the woman as she entered. Soon she was followed by a scrawny man holding a chest. Shugo knew the chest well, as it held all his precious belongings, including his custom armor that was forged by his mother.
"Excuse me", spoke the woman in a gentle tone. All eyes were now on her. Her outburst as she entered insured that. "Me and my brother", she spoke while pointing to the scrawny man holding the chest. "We were looking for our younger sibling. While we were passing by this area he suddenly lost his footing and fell from the pass."
"Yeah," spoke the scrawny man as he walked to the center of the room. "The boy took a nasty fall and hit his head. Along the way down he tore his shirt, and seemed to abandon it."
"Yes were looking for him when the guard informed us he would be here", spoke the woman keeping her kind facade up. "The young boy is probably confused and is probably blabbering none sense."
"Come on out Fido", spoke the man. "We have your stuff right here. Don't you want your pendent and armor?"
Shugo began to grind his teeth in attempt to remain silent. The patrons of the inn began to talk amongst themselves. A few mention Shugo, but could not remember where he was. Some question their story and others simply went back to what they were doing.

"I am a mercenary, Orlando," Torman replied. Before he could question the man further, the door at the front of the in shot open and in walked a woman who Torman could only describe as black and white. Except for her blue eyes. They stood out starkly against the rest of her. She called a name, Fido, as another man walked in. He was struggling with a large chest. Torman flicked his eyes over to Shugo, who now hid under a table. He looked terrified. Torman studied the woman as she described her "misfortune" of what happened to her "sibling." Torman stood up and walked over to the pair. The woman was now calling out to this "Fido," who Torman now knew was Shugo, for his armor and pendant. What was he, some kind of dog to them? The name they came up with wasn't very convincing. Torman reached for the chest in the scrawny man's arms.
"Let me help you there. You seem to be struggling with that," Torman said. He gently, but at the same time forcefully, pulled the chest from then man's arms and set it on the table. The fighter looked at the woman, "I saw your sibling run off that way," Torman said, pointing back out of the door, "This will be safer here while you search for him. You know how bandits are around chests..."
Torman hoped his bluff would work. If not, then Torman's fists would start flying.

I don't get the order ò_ò Shugoshi quickly hides under the table and the entire inn fall silent as a couple make its appearance. They are a surly man and a grim woman. She announces to the audience that they are siblings, and are looking for their brother. Despite her beauty, Orlando can't help but dubt: the two of them and Shugo are far from being similar as brothers should be, and often a pair of pretty eyes hide a poison worse than the most deadly snake's. Orlando remains firm at his table, keeping an eye on Torman and the two shady characters while trying not to attract attention.

OC: Ok to stop any more confusion on posting, which is my fault I will admite it, it should go Shugo, Orlando, and Torman.
IC:
"I don't think so", spoke the scrawny man as he snatched the chest away from Torman's hands. "We will keep it with us for a while. I know you city fokes you all got sticky fingers."
"Besides that", spoke the woman as she stepped in between the two of them. "We know he had not left this building, our good friends have been keeping an eye on it since before we came in. So how about you just tell us where our little brother is."
"Yeah come on out Fido", yelled the scrawny man as he held the chest in the air. "You don't want us to misplace your stuff."
Shugo had had enough of this. He did not like being toyed with, and the fact they held his stuff made it even worse. The young boy moved off under the table, but continued to stay low. He attempted to move around the tables, and surprise the duo from behind. As he traveled around the tables the young man happened to bump into one of the patrons.
"Hay", shouted the patron as she looked down to see Shugo sneaking about. "See this is why I hate kids", spoke the woman as she grabbed the young boy from behind.
"Hay", spoke Shugo as the maiden grabbed his collar and pushed him into the open.
"There is your little brother Fido, or Fedo, whatever. Just stop talking already and go about your business. You are ruining my day."
"Crap", spoke Shugo as he was now in the open.
“Ah Fido”, spoke the woman as she walked toward Shugo.

- Wait, where are you going!? -
Orlando whispered at the young boy as he began to flee, but couldn't stop him. This has led to a difficult situation: now there is no way to hide him. How could this finish without a fight?
- C'mon Orlando, think... Got it! -
A battle would be disastrous, so he doesn't think about resolve the matter with fists (as Torman is ready to do), but with what he does best: lie.
- One would think that after stopping the "Goldmowers" bandits at Santaruz and have saved a merchant caravan by "Hawkill" cutthroats at the west of Caelin in the same week, he can say goodbye to violence for a while... -
Silence falls. Orlando get up and start walking toward Shugo.
- But then he meets a child, frightened and trembling as one who has escaped from death. Is followed by two characters, who claim to be his siblings despite they don't resemble him even by mistake. -
He nods to the patron to let go of the kid, and she does.
- It is useless to insist on lying. There are only two ways in which this situation may end: with you leaving the chest and go away sorry, or with two new tasks for the gravedigger of the town. -
Said this, he performs his best steady gaze, a glance tested in years: no one would say that he is lying without having the evidence.
