"A group of bandits and or raiders raid many villages stealing, killing many innocents and yet they still live. I burn ONE village leaving some to live if they didn't out run my flames in time and I'm the evil one? Ha, funny coming from a Knight who going to steal from a temple to an old god of Bern. I've seen many blood shed not by my hands or claws, not by the flames of my fire. No. It was done by our race only Knight of Bern. Your kind killed many of my brethern and also kill your own as well. So what is the difference between me...and your own blood hungry race of Killers?"
The dragon didn't raise the heat just yet for he wanted to see what Euphemious would do or even say to what the dragon had said to him. It was giving him a kick at the fact that the knight was out of his league and wanted to do a shouting match between himself and this Fire Dragon. Who will win? Time will have to tell.

“Pshaw, you speak as if all men are one”, spoke Euphemious. “You know there is a difference in men. The difference between a bloodthirsty bandit and an honorable knight are as night and day. You know this dragon. Your are not a fool, I don’t see why you are asking such simple questions. Bandits are evil, we both know this. They kill for their own greed and care not for the lives of others. They are evil and there is no debating it. However that does not mean all of man is evil. A knight standing on his honor and protecting those who cannot protect themselves is not evil. A woman and child walking to the bakery is not evil. A dragon who burns down homes and slaughters people is evil. You are no better than a common bandit. You kill for your own greed and sick satisfaction. You care not whether the person is innocent or guilty. You simply burn and destroy whatever is in your path. Like a mindless beast you just fall upon whatever you set your eyes upon.
“You speak of me as though I am a sinner, but in truth dragon that is your crown to bear. You are the one who figures himself a god. You speak with pride how your burn down villages and picked on those far weaker than yourself”, spoke the knight as he began to chuckle. “Dragon you are coward plain and simple. You don’t fight those who can fight back. You don’t choose opponents who can hit hard as you can hit. It is for that reason your legend dies. No one remembers the coward only those who stand despite the odds. That is why no one knows your name dragon, and no one ever will.”

The smile vanished as a few red cracks went through the Iris of his eyes. The knight knew he had hit a nerve by the reactions of the dragon. Walking towards him, the dragon began to heat the surrounding area. Now nearly face to face, the dragon would begin to speak again. "You know Nothing of me Knight! I killed my whole clan because they wouldn't allow me into the Human realm for they called your kind a disgusting. Wanting to see your kind in person, it angered me that I had to wait almost 500 years and at that time, your race was in total war like it usually is." Cracking his one hand, anger had swept over him as he began to make plans on striking this knight.

Euphemious had taken note that his words had made the dragon angry. He had hit a soft spot. “Really”, spoke the knight as he looked at the dragon. “So you are telling me you killed them on in fair combat. All of them stood against you and fell one by one. I don’t think so”, spoke Euphemious. In his mind it was impossible. A human could not even do that let alone a dragon against another dragon. “If you could why did you wait five hundred years. No you killed you clan in some dishonorable way. That is why when I called you a coward you got angry. Because deep down inside you know you are a coward. My words brought out the truth and you are afraid to admit it.”
Euphemious knew he had him now. He was a dragon greedy and arrogant. Euphemious had insulted his pride, and he knew he would answer in fire. The only true question now was how he was going to get away from it. Running away was not going to do him any good. He needed the dragon to burn the plants around him. The only thing that knight could think of was rushing towards the dragon while it gathered its flames rather than away.

Drax watched and listend carefully. In his mind, he would begin to think to himself as the knight stood his ground still and kept trying to pull more strings of his nerve. Which was working very well for the moment. 'He's trying to get me angered, but for what? Does he want to be my next BBQ knight?' He smiled a bit, but would notice that the terrain they both were on was not the safest to be on since the grass was all dry. With one spark, it would catch fire without a hitch. 'Is he trying to get me trapped in my own fire? Or even use it against me? What a tricky Knight this one is....Time to change the board.' Taking his arm, he would swipe at the knight aiming for his shield and chest plate.
If the strike hit, it would rip the shield off his arm and make a few good size gashes in his chest plate. But it wouldn't severly wound him. Just enough to get his attention and remind him who he was talking to. The Dragon took a few steps back and stood up on his hind legs looking down at the knight. With the force of the attack, it would have knocked any knight over but it would surprise him if this one stood there still.

The dragons pulled back his hand to strike at the knight. On instinct Euphemious lifted his shield, but that was no were near enough to stop the dragons blow. The dragon’s claws ripped through the shield and Euphemious armor. The attack left three long gashes across the knight’s chest. The knight flew backwards as the blow knocked him off his feet. Dang it, thought Euphemious. The dragon must have figured out my plan. Still Euphemious could not simply give up. The knight pulled himself off the ground and stared back at the beast. “Seems I hit a sore spot”, spoke the knight.

Looking down at the man still, he wouldn't say anything more to him for now as he thought about the next move. Once he got back up, Drax fell to all four of his legs and let out a roar that would make knight's ears ring for a long while and pushing him back a few feet. Once done, the fire dragon took a heavy rock and took to the sky. Flying around the knight, he would scratch his massive claws across it making sparks fly. A few of the heated pieces lit the dry grass a flames making a wall of fire in the shape of a cresent.
"Well my dear knight, I have to take my leave. I got...a grave sight that I must go to. If you don't believe me, then go to the Castle that is outside an old town named after the cousins of my race's body part and go to the grave yard. Look for a tombstone that has a single flower and a silver arrow. Then you might understand a bit of what I go through with a life span that I do."
After that, Drax would fly away towards the west. With the fire blazing, the knight would hear a horse galiping towards him. After looking carefully, it was the horse that he took from the village that is now up in flames. It stayed away from the fire since the heat alone made it uncomfortable. The bad part about it was, the horse was on the other side of the cresent moon shaped fire.

Euphemious did not hear a word the dragon spoke. His head was ringing the whole time. One thing he did note was that he was alive. It was weird to him that the dragon hat let him live. He figured the beast would have killed him by now for all the stuff he said. Though he figured it had to do with him calling him a coward and the fact that he only killed the weak. Euphemious hearing started to come back slowly. He heard the sound of the horse he had borrowed earlier. Through the fire he could see the beast standing on the other side. Immediately the knight began to think of a way to get out the fire.
In desperation Euphemious pulled off his chest plate. The straps were half way ripped off to begin with so it was not hard. He then threw the pile of crimple steel into a portion of the ring of fire. For a moment the knight paused from the pain of gashes on his chest. With every ounce of will in his body he sprinted forward and jumped through the gap created by his armor. His pants however still caught a flame, but a few pats and dirt put the fire out. The knight then used the last of his vulnerary to close the wounds and climbed onto the back of the horse. By the time he did that the dragon was gone from his view. It was a long trip to the nearest town.
