"Right", shouted Oichi as she unlatched her spear from the side of her mount. She was in a disadvantage thanks to her choice of weapon, but with Ingrid by her side she might stand a change.
"Die little missy", shouted one bandit as he raised his axe and charged forward. Suddenly an arrow flew and hit him in his upper arm. "What the", shouted the bandit as he turned to see who fired the shot.
"Now is our chance", shouted Oichi as she sent her horse into a charge. The maiden held her spear down hoping to run the bandit through. The bandit however quickly moved dodging the incomeing attack, but left his back open to Ingrid.

Ingrid followed behind Oichi's charge. And when the Bandit turned his back to her she knew it was the better chance for her. With a long and quick leap that she used to close the last distance between her objective and her.
The sword escaped it's sheathe for a short instant.- I'm over here!- the swift slash of her blade opened a huge wound on the bandit's lower back. Who after a growl of pain turned around with a wide horizontal attack with his axe, attack that Ingrid was barely able do dodge with a quick backstep, trying to keep his attention on her she kept from a safe distance from the axe, close enough for the bandit to think he could reach her.

"Well, well, what have we here? KNEW it was too quiet... Hahaha, now you've overstepped your bounds. You can't steal from a thief, silly, especially the great and mighty Near! I'll cut you down like chaff! C'mere!"
Ryu hopped a few steps forward and gracefully swung his scythe in a figure eight, using the length of the weapon to evade a bandit's axe. Chuckling merrily, Ryu continued to spin the scythe as he advanced, turning and using the force of his turn to accelerate the metal blade of the scythe, and then following through as the scythe neatly sliced through a bandit's abdomen, leaving him with a gaping slash. Ryu chuckled and finished the fellow off with a downward swing, like a pickaxe, skewering the bandit through the head and then pulling the long blade out of his head, allowing the body to crumple like it was a wet towel.
"Anyone want bandit-kabob? Hehehe, who's next?"
A quick survey of the battlefield showed him that there were two dead bandits, one being covered by the women, and, oh, hello! One coming right for him, axe held high.
"Inertia!" Ryu said, swinging his scythe blade to intercept the swing.
The hard downward strike of the axe was suddenly interrupted by the scythe, which hit the side of the axe, deflecting it into the ground at Ryu's side.
"AGAIN, idiot," Ryu said, sneering, "Inertia! Is that word too big for -- "
His teasing was interrupted by a swift punch to the chest, causing Ryu to fall over. He scrambled up as the bandit pulled his axe out of the ground. Pretending not to see the villain charging him, he waited until the last second before sidestepping and holding the scythe out, choked up far on the handle with the blade at a ninety-degree angle. The bandit neatly ran through the scythe, sending Ryu sprawling before he collapsed into the dirt, writhing as the blade through his chest did its job. Dusting himself off, Ryu retrieved the scythe and chided himself.
"Tsk, even I forgot about inertia."

The remaining five bandits begun to circle Oichi and Ingrid, letting out a few laughs and snarls as they did not focus on Rogus or Ryu, or Oleg for that matter. Oleg lept off from the carriage, running to one of the bandits as he snarled, thrusting his sword trough the back of a bandit as he snarled and spoke at the same time. "Nobody damages my daughter." He then pulled his sword out of the back, kicking the corpse down.

"Hey, hey, hey! Four on two isn't fair," Ryuzaki called, whirling his scythe menacingly. Noticing the Hunter, Kyle, Ryu decided that he should play a little defense. Rogus was closer to the four remaining bandits, and Oleg was there... If they needed him, he'd be there. For now, he'd cover that kid.
Closing the ground quickly, Ryu crouched near the Hunter, and spoke quickly and quietly. "I get the feeling that you don't like working with people much. But this is a battle... Let's set aside differences for now. If I get one bandit's attention, can you fill him with arrows? I'll finish him if need be, but I can get you a stationary target if you want."

Bandits, always picking on the weakest ones, eh? Rogus dashed past Oleg, and gathered the attention of the largest Bandit, probably the leader of the Molerats. THe large axe wielder widened his stance, and smiled crookedly at the fast approaching thief.
"Yer a brave one i'll gi'ya that!" The bandit held his ground as Rogus gathered his momentum. Seeing the man wasn't going to move, Rogus feigned his charge until the last moment, sliding between the bandits legs and slashing the brigand's calf. The giant screamed in pain and turned around to swat his axe at where he thought the thief would be. His axe met air as Rogus was a few feet away from him now, a handful of dirt in his grasp.
Now ya' See me, now ya' don't! Rogus jibed as he tossed the dirt into the Bandit's eyes. The brigand stumbled back swinging his axe wildly. The other bandits gave the giant space as he flailed around trying to hit the pest that had blinded him. Rogus toyed with the brigand, jeering at him to follow his voice as he added greater distance between him and the others. The bandit followed screaming incoherently in pure rage. As the bandit's vision returned to him, he saw the blurry red form of the thief and charged forward with alll the speed his weight would allow him. Finally closing in on the slowly back-peddling Rogus, the bandit leaped into the air and brought his axe down to hit the thief. Again, he was far too slow, and the thief dodged to the right, stomping on the man's forearm when his axe hit the ground. THe brigand howled and released his hold on the axe, leaving it lodged in the earth.
C'mon, thought yoou were a tough guy! Rogus taunted him as he hopped into the air to deliver a spin kick to the giant's abdomen. Hopefully, seeing their leader getting his butt handed to him, the bandits would go to assist him. But for the time being, Rogus was more intent on continuing his fun. The bandit howled in pain once again as the kick found its mark, swinging at rogus again with a hairy fist. This time the bandit managed to get a solid hit in as rogus caught the fist on his jaw. A flash in his vision would indicate to him the hit had been fairly forceful, though his adrenaline kept him from feeling it. Recoiling from the hit, and hearing the bandit laugh heartily, Rogus decided enough was enough and lunged forward with his long knife aimed for the man's ribs.
His knife sunk deep through the small opening between the ribcage, and he let out a chuckle, thinking it was over. His confidence was blown away however, when the Bandit chuckled weakly and grabbed the much smaller man by the neck forcefully, raising him up to his face and leaving the knife in his abdomen. The leader's eyes bloodshot and muddy, he gave Rogus a creepily murderous look.
"Looks like i'm about to squash you, snake!" The man said with much pleasure in his voice.
Snakes... Bite... Rogus choked as he swung his leg to kick his dagger further into the bandit's abdomen. This cause the man to give rogus a blank, pained face, as he loosened his grip and dropped the thief to the ground. The bandit stumbled back and pulled the knife from his chest. With a final show of the giant's strength, he threw the dagger at the thief while Rogus tried to get up. The knife flew end over end and cut the side of thieve's neck deeply, and spiraled on into the grass. The giant fell to the ground with a smile, thinking he had killed the thief.
Apparently... so do bandits... He weezed, clutching his wound tightly to stop from bleeding out.

Oichi seeing the opportunity turned her mount around and charged forward. She stabbed the bandit through the back with her iron lance. The tip of the lance entered the wound that Ingrid left earlier and pierced through the man.
"Hey I got one", spoke Oichi. She turned to see the remaining five bandits focusing in on her and Ingrid. As fast as her expression of joy crossed her face it fled. This was not good. Suddenly a blade pierced through one of the brigand's backs and busted through his chest.
"NO one Damages my daughter", shouted Oleg as he kicked the bandit off his sword. Suddenly the red thief dashed in and took the attention of their leader. It was a clear opportunity now.
"Ingrid follow behind me", spoke Oichi as she sent her horse into a gallop. The steed knocked over one of the brigands as she broke away from the carriage. She now had room to move about, but there was still two opponents left.

Ingrid cleaned the blood from her sword with two swift swings and hided the blade again in it's sheathe.- Right!- She exclaimed quickly following behind her, taking a cheap shot on the bandit that Oichi had just knocked down and finished him with a precise cut on his throat. Without loosing time she resumed the run after the pink-haired girl. She was surprised on the development of the assault. With her and Oichi not even scratched yet.-I think we are winning!

For some reason one of the other people made their way over to him in the heat of battle. "I get the feeling that you don't like working with people much. But this is a battle... Let's set aside differences for now. If I get one bandit's attention, can you fill him with arrows? I'll finish him if need be, but I can get you a stationary target if you want." The man spoke to him. Why would this guy come over here? it's not like he was in direct danger or anything. in fact he felt he was the safest in the group, except for the only guy in the group bigger than him, who had seemed to have disappeared.
"Go help the girls." Kyle said to the man. "They need it more than me." Kyle then gave a grunt as he shot at another bandit near the girls. This time also missing his mark and hitting him in the calf, he wouldn't be moving too much. But the worst part was that he had hit his forearm with the string, and it will definitely be leaving a mark. Hopefully it won't hinder anything.
Looking over the battle, everything seemed to be going well. The girls had slayed the bandit he had shot earlier and there were very few bandits left. then he saw the biggest of the bandits fall over, looking to see who had taken him down he saw another of the group fall down blood spewing profusely from what appeared to be a bad gash in his neck. He needed to be treated. Fast! Running over to where the man had fallen He looked over the wound. it was bad, it needed to have pressure on it, but it just had to be the neck didn't it. Ripping off one of the sleeves of his shirt he put it on the wound and began to apply pressure to the side of the neck. "The pack" Kyle yelled to his dog, he might have some herbs or something in he pack that would help.
Keeping the pressure on the wound with his left hand he went through his pack with his right, getting into his herbs he realized that they were low and needed to be stocked up again. Grabbing two certain ones he took one out of a jar and put a bit in the wound, it would sting, but it would help slow the bleeding and help from getting infected. If he lived. And the other one he gave to the man to chew. "Take this, It'll help with the pain." Well not the pain in particular, but it would numb the body a bit making the pain much more dull and bearable. Hopefully this guy would pull through.

The two remaining bandits stared around awkwardly, being outnumbered heavily as they suddenly leaped to the holes they came from. "We'll get you later! I'll swear it on my name!" The last remaining bandit began to spout out curses towards his escaped comrades.
Oleg grunted, walking to the downed bandit as he drew his sword, stabbing his sword down onto the bandit's left eye, twisting his sword around as he then pulled it out, silently walking back to the front of the carriage. "We're continuing."

No... Just a scratch... he'd protest weakly as the herbs were jammed into his wound. It stung like a bugger, but the pain from the actual wound overwhelmed the stinging. His wound would start to bleed slower, but he had lost quite a bit of blood. He just barely heard Oleg's order to keep moving, and coughed painfully.
Vulnerary... He sputtered, taking hold of the boy's hand with a surprisingly strong grip. Be a dear and hurry... *coughs*... His eyes began to flutter, but he was gaining a bit more color to his face, whatever the herbs were, they were helping.

"Again? Man, you're running through my vulneraries like water. You owe me two now, man. One day I'll need a vulnerary, and you'll be the one to give me one, hey?" Ryu said absently as he reached into his cloak, grabbed a vulnerary, and threw it at Rogus lazily. Cleaning his scythe, Ryu clipped it back to his back and frisked all of the dead bandits for any coin or useful items. Then, he hopped up and crouched on his haunches at the rear of the caravan, humming to himself.

"No... Just a scratch..." The man said while gripping Kyle's hand. "Vulnerary... He sputtered, taking hold of the boy's hand with a surprisingly strong grip Be a dear and hurry... *coughs*..." Kyle just merely shook his head, this wound was to grievous for one of those to fix. "Again? Man, you're running through my vulneraries like water. You owe me two now, man. One day I'll need a vulnerary, and you'll be the one to give me one, hey?" Another man said as he tossed one nearby. "Keep it." Kyle said. "It won't help much, this wound is too deep." And with that Kyle proceed to pick the man up, a bit too roughly in his opinion, and carry him over to the wagon. Dang this guy is heavy. With a grunt Kyle set the man in the wagon. "Does anyone have a needle, thread and some skill in sowing?" Kyle asked still applying pressure to the gash. The wound would have to be stitched up just in case it could get worse. But Kyle had never sown human flesh together before, just leather that has been tanned and hardened. Hopefully someone else knew how to, or else this would be left to him. Turning back to the man with the gash he asked him quietly. "Did you start to chew the herb yet?" he asked referring to the herb he had given him earlier.

"Ask Oichi or Ingrid. I cannot help." Oleg shouted from his place at the front, keeping his weapon ready just in case... Who knows if these molerats had more than just a few hiding beneath the dirt. Oleg slowly turned around to watch the process, waiting to see if anyone knew sewing.

Oh, hold on!- The Sacaen jumped into the cart and searched her satchel thoroughly.- i'm sure every Sacaen knows to do this, since healers are scarce and vulneraries aren't exactly cheap.- The girl returned with a curved needle and a long thread of linen.
She tied the thread to the needle and approached Rogus.- Hold him down please, if he starts kicking and fighting he'll just worse.- She told Kyle while taking his place next to him.- Now... this'll hurt you more than it hurts me...- She said with a slight grin in her face.
