[Borgus]

"Half up front and half when it is complete", spoke Borgus interrupting and taking over the conversation. It was Baako job to find the assassin and his job to negotiate the price. Baako was young and did not know the way of the world, that and Borgus just loved to handle negotiations himself. "I don't want you fleeing with my coin. You get half of it now and once the target is eliminated we will give you the other half", spoke the acolyte as he stared into the woman's eyes.

Borgus did not know of this woman, nor did he know of her reputation. However he knew the type. Assassins to be are known for taking money and fleeing without completing the job. A few of them will even report to the authorities about you intentions in order to gain an extra reward. You always have to be careful when dealing with scum. Scum plus Scum does not equal friendship. Evil is not one big happy family. As much as Borgus loves to get by on the law other vile people love to get by on him. Caution, was his best weapon and Borgus used it well.

[Minerva]

"What's the rate?"

Minerva felt that it was smart to do a fifty-fifty deal... After all, thieves and assassins were thieves and assassins. A good guy like Rogus was scarce among those swindlers. Maybe they could even swindle her? It was hard to tell, since she was no assassin. Hmm. Well, hopefully Baako knew his stuff.

The sooner that noble girl was out of the way, the sooner their enterprise could start. This might be a nice existence for a while... Plenty of money, a fun 'job'...

"And also, her head as confirmation would be in order, no?"

[Baako]

The woman smiled at Borgus's statement, "Fair enough, least your no fool. I can take half of it now and the other half when the jobs done." She looked like she was going to say more but noticed Minerva and waited to hear her out. Shiki didn't bat an eyelash as they talked about price, nor did she seem uncomfortable with the idea of carrying a head for proof, "I don't have a flat rate, and I usually don't bring proof since most of the time the people hiring me are people they see around. Depending on the target i might be able to bring it back, but if its their head or mine you'd better believe i'm choosing mine. You'll hear news about their death one way or another."

Baako for his part accepted the shift in conversation, he was out of his element and didn't mind letting them lead on while he learned a trick or two.

[Borgus]

"Minerva, the head is a bit excessive", spoke Borgus as he touched her hand and stared into her eyes as if they were a married couple. It was his way of getting her back for her antics in front of the inn a few days back. The acolyte then turned toward their assassin and went back to business. "We don't need her head however we need the job done right." With those words Borgus pulled out a small a portrait of the girl. Mind you the portrait was rolled up and once fully extended was about the size of the table. Canvas was a painter and a hit man's best friend. 

"This girl's name is Elena", spoke Borgus as he pointed to the picture and then rolled it back up. It was best not to keep the thing out less some wondering eyes see it. "To start off she is a noble and the daughter of a very rick man. However that very rich man nearly killed me in the past and as a way of showing my graduated I would like to have her eliminated. Before you ask the pay out will be good", spoke Borgus as he pulled out a bag of coins. "Inside that bag you will find 1000 gold coins. If you complete the job then you will receive the other thousand", spoke Borgus as he looked at the woman.

[Minerva]

The boss said his piece, and she chuckled, rubbing his hand with her thumb.

"All right, then. No head... Just make sure you do the job, and you do it well. That's really all that matters, right?"

Listening to Borgus, Minerva fixed her eyes on the target. The girl seemed decent enough, but, if the boss said she was to go, then she was to go. Whatever would further their enterprise at this point would be what she would support.

"So then it's settled? Let the deed be done, assassin."

[Borgus]

"I wish you luck", spoke Borgus as he walked away. "Or you will find death".
