Veigue's eyebrow arched at Hayle's sudden humor, but the normally-composed sacaean couldn't help but smile a bit. "I doubt we'd find a collar big enough." ...Though the mental image of Nayru not transforming back to normal did cross his mind, unfortunately. If she regained consciousness, but maintained her dragon form forever, he tried to picture multiple scenarios of them trying to casually travel peacefully. However, a lot of those "images" resulted in someone screaming "DRAGON!" and attacking all three of them...and for some unknown reason, the setting was almost entirely within an area next to an arena somewhere. Huh...
As time passed, Veigue noticed Nayru stopping completely, but was strangely staring down at him. However, it wasn't long before the unnatural events unfolded in front of them, wondering just was going on. Were they completely successful? It coursed through his mind until it was apparent another phenomenon was occurring and quickly realized Nayru was changing back...well, not back to the way they've known her, anyways. She still looked the same in the face, but overall had very noticeable changes. Given how much this day was full of surprises, Veigue himself was no longer fazed by the uniqueness of this situation. All that mattered was everything seemed like it was going to be all right for the time being. Noticing the stone she wore as an earring before, he saw it on a necklace, which was where his mother's emerald jewel also was. Though he didn't have much time to think about it.
Nayru looked like she could fall over at any moment, and...that was apparently already happening now. Rushing over, he caught her just in time. Having a closer look now, she obviously went through yet another transformation. If only he was a specialist on dragons, he wouldn't be so confused at the moment. However, losing his cool during confusion was the worst way to handle things. Veigue quickly turned his head out of respect though as he caught himself before his eyes began to wander in places they shouldn't. Instead, he briefly scanned the area as it seemed like the place was completely cleaned out from what just occurred. If there were more bandits, they probably already escaped. However, they were the least of his worries at the moment.
...Staying there was probably not a good idea regardless. He was just glad that Nayru won the struggle for control, and that they all were generally fine. However, he knew Nayru needed somewhere to rest, and fast. He know she suffered injures like they did and a bed to rest in would be better for her. A tired, but light smile crossed the swordsman's features as he looked at her face and also noticed the necklace again afterward. Yes, this was still a much better place for it, and he sure his mother's memory and will could still live on. And Nayru's own stone in combination made it look more majestic than it did before. Knowing that he didn't lose his friend during this was one heavy worry off his shoulders. Now all that was left to do was make sure it stayed that way.
But the memory of his mother sparked an idea...one he didn't like one bit, but it was their only option. It was for their friend anyway. They could use his family's old home and allow Nayru to rest in his mother's bed. He was sure the villagers took care of their old home since his father was honored by the elder. Looking to Hayle, his expression changed as it was obvious that whatever he was going to say was not something he was okay with. "...I greatly appreciate your help on my nearly suicidal plan, Hayle. We should...probably get Nayru somewhere where she can recover. I have a place in mind that's the closest to this location...however, it's not a very friendly place to people like us. But she, as well as all of us, need some immediate rest and treatment. It's the place of my birth...and my exile, but I can at least arrange an agreement with the village elder to help us out for this time only, as an emergency. You all right with that?"
