Wright's thundering gallops slowed, as he witnessed the Archer nimbly roll out of sight, only to roll back into sight, and swiftly notch another arrow and point it at one of the three children. Although Wright had covered a lot of ground he had not covered enough to accomplish his goal, and cantered to a halt before the Archer, whom judging by his speech, had made full use of resources, and taken the child hostage. His brow furrowed as he leveled the blade he held with the the Archer. Wright thought that he certainly was not going to respond well to this action. And though he did not want to make the Archer an opponent, he though that at this point he had very little choice.
"All off you drop your weapons now and toss them into the darkness away from me. Else you want this one dead. Any other action and I will shoot." said the Archer, and he tightened his grip on his blade. Wright looked over at the Maiden whom he was now alongside, gauging her response. Though the three children clearly shared close relation, he was unsure of her connection to them. She responded with a curse and threatened the Archer, disposing if her arms. He assumed for now, that she was the tough older sister, and turned his gaze back to the Archer, not quite content to cast aside his blade just yet.
"Listen" said Wright, trying to interject some sense into their situation. "This is just a misunderstanding. None of us are bandits. We're all just strangers passing in the night." In a final, last ditch attempt to reason with the Archer, he was trying to level with him by explaining the situation to, calmly and cooly. Attempting to talk him down instead of cutting him down. As he did this, he glanced momentarily momentarily to the Maiden, looking for some sort of help or guidance, before his gaze flicked back to the Archer. "If you took a moment to look critically at the situation, I think you'd see that."

This was bad. The archer had a clear shot at Shu. At that rang and with Shu's lack of combat experiences Bones was sure he would shoot him dead. The maiden had already disarmed herself, but the rider seemed harder to convince. His eyes spoke a understanding and a seriousness of the situation, but his hand held his sword with a firm grip. It was clear he did not want to disarm himself in front of the archer. Bones could not blame him either. She herself would not have done so if Shu's life was not hanging in the balance. If it had been anybody else, anybody other than the three idiot triplets then Bones would not have given a care in the world what happened to them. However it was one of her three idiots and by default they were not the horseman's. The boy had no real meaning to the man other than simply a boy held hostage. With that perspective and the situation at hand Bones knew full well that this was not going to end well.
Without saying a word Bones reached her left hand up and grabbed hold of the knights sword. With a tight grip she pulled the blade pointing down toward the ground instead of pointing at the archer. A sharp pain began to shoot through her hand as her own crimson blood began to run down her arm. "Throw away the sword", spoke Bones without looking at the knight. Her eyes stayed focus on Kyle, but her will stayed strong. She knew what would happen if the knight simply pulled back on his sword. She would receive a grievous injury and could possibly even loss the hand. Still at this point she was willing to risk it.She was not going to let anything happen to one of her idiots.

Kyle arched an eyebrow as only the maiden dropped her weapon. Tsk, it was a shame that bandits didn't care for their own young. It's really a surprise that they haven't all died out by now if that was how they treated their kids. Oh well. What a waste of a life. Can't even die for something good. Hopefully the bandits could live with the blood on their hands. Well, the horseman's hands since he didn't drop the blade. Poor kid.
The horse rider of the group began babbling off about something, not that Kyle really cared. The only thing he cared about was the fact that he kept his weapon. If he was trying to talk to him the man was doing a horrible job considering that the man still had his weapon out and held out. Darn.
Kyle's fingers began to slip off of the string as the female began to take action. But the action was not against him at all. No, it was towards the rider instead. It seems that the girl did care about the life of the child. At least a little bit. It was almost good to see that at least one of the bandits cared a little about the kid. Well, good for the kid. Too bad for the woman she grabbed the sharp part of the blade. If the horse man chose to try to resist her too strongly she could hurt her quite badly. And the last thing that a bandit would want is a crippled ally. He would wait to see this man's reaction. "You'd better listen to her." He was poised and ready to fire.

Wright's last ditch attempt, presumably had failed. As he tried to calmly explain the situation to the Archer, he did little more then twitch an eyebrow, as he stared toward him, glassy eyed and manic. It was possible that the Archer was so afraid that the adrenaline pumping through his viens had inhibited his ability to produce rational thought. Or perhaps his heart was pumping so loudly in his head, that he was unable to hear Wright's at all. No matter the reason, the Archer still had his weapon trained on the boy And judging by his response, or rather his lack thereof, the Archer seemed entirely beyond reason.
Wrights mount stirred slightly in the mounting tension. His grip loosened slightly as he attempted to reassess the situation. Although, before he could do so, he felt his weapon being wrenched downward. His head snapped to the his side, looking down at the maiden. "Throw away the sword." She said, without breaking view of the archer. And as her blood flowed from her hand, down the length of his blade, he relinquished hold of it. It clattered to the ground, and he seized hold of his horses riegns. As the archer spoke again, he returned his gaze to him. It seemed as though, the Archer could understand her just fine, which frustrated and confused Wright. His brow descended into a heavy scowl, as it occured to him the Archer may merely have been ignoring him. It seemed to fit, as manners would not naturally be a priority of someone with the gutless opertunism to threaten the life of a child.
However, he was losing himself. As his horse shifted below him again, he drew in a heavy breath and sighed. His scowl disapated mostly and he turned to the Maiden. He looked down at her expectantly. Whatever she did next, he hoped would put them on the course to resolving the situation. As it did not appear that Wright's level headedness was being well receive for whatever reason, perhaps a womans touch might get through the Archers skull.

As soon as the social knight let go of the sword Bones tossed the blade into the darkness. She knew their was no certainty that the archer was not going to simply shoot Shu anyway, but she had to take the chance. The deluded fool was under the assumption that Bones and the three boys were bandits. Which in truth was true, but at the moment they were neither raiding or attacking anybody. They were simply returning back to Bern after making a stop in Sacae. None of their actions would suggest anything about them being bandits and the horseman who sword she had just confiscated was even less suspicious than they were.
"Their all of our weapons have been removed. Now lower your bow and let the boy go", spoke Bones. Her eyes still held malice as she starred at the archer. Her original curse held true. If he let loss that arrow their would be no force left in the world that would keep her hands from strangling his tiny neck. It had been a long time since Bones really wanted to kill somebody.
The entire time Bones and the rider were dealing with the archer and his attempt on Shu's life the other two brothers had taken the moment to fall back. They finally understood why Bones told them to stay behind while she pursued the archer. As much as they wanted to help they were liabilities in the fight. Shu's presence had already cost Bones her ace and now the rider his sword. If they had just stayed behind the bushes like Bones had told them then the entire confrontation could have already been over. "Dang it", spoke Wu as he punched the ground. Wei however listened closely. His younger brother's life hang in the balance. Whatever happened next he wanted to hear it.

Kyle watched as the blade was thrown into the bushes in the darkness. That left them effectively unarmed. Perfect Now that they were un armed it would be much harder for them to harm, much less kill him. Although there were more of them than there were of him he doubted that they would be stupid enough to try and to attack him. Especially now that they knew just how dangerous he could be. And what lengths he could and would go to. Killing children wasn't really in his tastes but if it had to be done so be it. Good thing no kids had to die in this case. Yes, very good.
After the weapons were lost in the darkness he didn't simply relax the bow and take the arrow off. No, he suddenly turned and let an arrow loose at the tree, aiming at a specific branch. Upon closer examination some may realize that there was a large bag at the end of the branch. The arrow flew straight. Straight past the branch that he was aiming for. . . He missed. . . Well gods be damned. That was embarrassing. Just missing that shot, his nerves must be so frayed now for him to miss that.Well, not really, nut how would they know that? Something might of just thrown him off that he wasn't paying attention to. Like the fact that he took that shot right after a swing. That would surely throw him off.
He let out a sigh as he missed the shot. That was just stupid. He took out another arrow and aimed more carefully, this time it flew and hit the branch right where he was aiming, just above where the pack was. The branch cracked as everything fell to the ground. He looked back, making sure that they weren't trying to go after their weapons before he grabbed up his pack and the arrow in the branch. He then turned back to the bandits, his bow still in hand. He was still wondering why they were out so late. "You bandits, prowling around the plains like you own them. You were hoping to train your next generation, weren't you? Because you picked the wrong target."His eyes narrowed at them as he was watching them like a hawk.

Wright was expecting the Archer to release the tension of his draw string, or at least lower his bow. Although, when he did not do either of these things and instead took aim elsewhere, Wright flinched as the Archer loosed his arrow into the night. He failed to understand the relevance of this action. Perhaps it was meant to intimidate. Though this thought was dismissed when the archer released an agitated sigh, notched another arrow and let it fly, following the same path as the last.
The archer it seemed, had successfully felled an innocent branch. It became clear why he had been firing on the tree when a bag fell from from it's heights, down to their level. Presumably these were the things he was so afraid of having stolen, and as he yanked only one of the fired arrows from the fallen branch, it could be assumed that the encounter had shaken him badly enough for him to have missed a shot.
By the look of him, his frustration had yet to pass. The Archer turned back around after picking up his things, and addressed both he and the Maiden. "You bandits, prowling around the plains like you own them. You were hoping to train your next generation, weren't you? Because you picked the wrong target." He said, fixing them with the scorching glare typical of an archer, and a plainsman. "What a self indulgent bastard." Wright said under his breath only loud enough for the maiden to hear. He looked down for a moment to investigate the maiden's condition, before turning his attention back to the archer, waiting for him to give either some indication of leaving, or moving to attack. For all the accusations he had placed against the two of them, it was he who was conducting themselves in a brash and unruly manner.

Bones looked up at the archer with murder in her eyes. He had not only threaten one of her little idiots, but also dare to take the moral high ground. Sure it was true Bones was a bandit, but she was not robbing or killing him. As a matter of fact she had no intentions of doing neither to anybody tonight or for the last few days. All she wanted to do was get her and her three triplets back to their base in the mountain and go about their lives.
Now however, she had a reason to murder. She had a very good reason to show him what a true bandit was. Looking down at them from the top of the hill he may think he had the advantage and at this moment it was true. However he had made a enemy that was not so easily dismissed or slain. As the old saying goes hell has no furry like a woman's scorn.
"I am going to murder him", spoke Bones under her breath and with very little emotion in her voice. Bones wanted to be sure he did not sense her intentions, nor did she want the knight to understand how serious she was with that statement. At the moment she was sure he would play it off as a fit of anger. He would not think much of it when Bones goes out later, or at least she hoped. To be truthful she never really intended for the knight to hear it. The words were mainly for herself. It was Bones way of sealing herself to a task. With the fire in her stomach ready and burning Bones turned around and began to walk away. She made sure to keep the space between her and the archer between the rider to make it harder for him to hit her if he fired. However Bones intentions were to recover her weapon. It may not be tonight, but Bones was going to go hunting.

Kyle arched a brow as they seemed to stand there dumbfounded. Most likely from realizing just how right he was. He could see their mouth moving but from this distance his ears only picked up mumbling in the deep silence that permeated the night. What were they doing? They were probably either cursing him out or trying to formulate a plan to get him. And as unlikely as that was of succeeding there was always a chance. Even injured the bandit girl could still do some damage. Speaking of that, didn't she break the arrow off inside of her leg? That was a bad idea, that would make it harder to get out later. Not that he really cared, but they still failed in their mission so he had no real reason to be mad at them aside from missing a night of sleep and a couple of arrows. Nothing too overly bad. In fact they were some pretty good practice for getting out of situations where you are out numbered. He should almost be thanking them. But he wouldn't, they were still bandits.
He thought like that for a couple more moments before the pink haired one started to leave. "You'd better take that arrow out of your leg soon. Or else you may lose it." That was about all he had to say. No use in her losing her leg, although that wouldn't be too much of a determent to her if she ever decided to quit being a bandit and actually live a life.
Kyle kept his bow at ready as he turned around and jogged away from the scene with a surprisingly fast pace. On towards his 'home' as his Father called it.
