"Well, you don't exactly strike me as the type to go mad with power,"
Remus chuckled as he smiled warmly, tilting his head as he let his gaze linger on Nayru before he looked outwards down the path they walked. Perhaps some poor paradoxical Remus was ensnared in the never ending appeal to unlimited power. He however, was not so interested in the notion of limitless power at his finger tips. He was upset he could not protect others, truly, but he was grateful for the powers he did have. Healing saved lives as well. This he would not discredit. He could ease pain, and while he could not remove burdens entirely at times, he could lessen them. A power that he associated with Elimine, who was his ultimate role-model. Based upon the speculated accomplishments and feats that Elimine managed before she'd established Etruria. "I should sooner hope I go mad with a desire to heal the wounds of Elibe. That is a power I do not think could cause harm to anyone but myself. To be honest, I would gladly ensue harm upon myself if it meant the wounded of Elibe could all be healed, so I can not say it would be a bad power to be mad with. Haha..a slightly crazy priest known to travel the world healing miscellaneously wounded. I think..should I ever go crazy, that I would quite like that as an epitaph. "
Remus smiled warmly towards Nayru. Her concern meant alot given the scale of the power she had displayed alone, compared to that which he lacked. He inclined his head before he spoke, looking towards her all the while. Though he knew she was serious, the priest knew not how to convey aught beyond kindness really. "For that you have my thanks though, for I will take your words to heart Nayru. I can only hope that by the time I do garner any sense of power, I can first and foremost, always be recognized as a healer. Perhaps that may lessen their concerns and fears. Though this is of-course, assuming I some day gain enough power to warrant anyone being afraid of a blue haired priest young enough looking to have never developed facial hair. "
A world of wolves. He would like to think that a large enough sheep, became a ram? That he could stand in a world of wolves and preside as the protector of other sheep. Then again...couldn't the wolves just gang up on the ram? There was a thought here...an analogy that applied to him....somewhere. He'd just have to find it. Oh well. Thoughts for later.
Hm? Real power? She spoke of the power of ruling. First, he laughed as Nayru mentioned ruling with Amelia. To this prompt, the young girl excitedly bounced up and down waving one of her hands. She exclaimed brightly as she puffed out one of her cheeks and nodded. "And you and Owain too! You'll All be my might generals and lead my armies to conquer new places!! Oh, and nabata too! It's lots of sand I think. So we'll have Owain take it! He's never seen sand! Er..I haven't either. But Owain will take it! It'll be fun!" The sheer notion that Amelia was creating battle strategies. Remus didn't know if he should be concerned for the girl or laugh. Chuckling a bit he looked back to Nayru. "The power to rule is certainly something I don't think either of us will ever have to worry about haha. You certainly don't seem the type to enjoy such, and I don't believe I'll find myself becoming a rising power in that regard. "
